Update:  A pic to see it "in action" tested with latest (4.3.6) release:

Hi Andy,

Thanks for taking the time out to do that.

I wasn't sure if that was just for the Privacy Policy only and not the Terms and Conditions. The wording on the page does not make that clear, hence the reason I had asked.

That's OK. I did update them all to get that page to show I'll admit though.

Can you verify which exact section and I'll double check for you. It should show that (in theory though) if you update either of the first two... 🙂

On my testboard, they are in this order from top/bottom:

"Site Guidelines"

"Privacy Policy"

"Registration Terms/Rules"

Under that there's just the 'Guest Bar' option.

Okay, will try that and see what happens. Would be good to have the ability to select which one out of the three when forcing members.

Thanks

Hi Andy,

Just checked, I can force members to read the updated Privacy Policy and the Registration Terms & Rules, but not the updated Site Guidelines.

Looks like I will have to write a small plugin for me to be able to do this.

:) Thanks for posting back.

I did not look into it in detail as you mentioned in your previous reply you'd try it.

It may be worthwhile posting in Feedback about this, as although (technically) not a privacy concern it would be good to force them to re-read the Guidelines.

I though there was a plugin to do this actually (at one time there was) although it may of been for the 3.x series perhaps. Certainly there are plugins/hooks to force read a topic or announcement but this is not quite what you're after.
