I am trying to customize friendly URLs in ACP. I have installed the application Links Directory and would like to change "links" to "sites". I have changes the index page of application without issues. Then I have tried to change a link for the single item.

The result is weird. When I save the form above I get "links" and "sites" in the same url. 

However I need _http://myhost.com/sites/show/id-?? Exactly what I have entered in the form above. What is wrong?

This is a CORE bug:

The only way to bypass this bug currently, is edit the applications/links/data/furl.json manually and then reupload the file to your server and run the support tool to rebuild the cache.

There are some posts in the topic above saying that this works.

Pretty old bug...  Changing furl.json would mean I have to change it every time I update the application.  Sigh...

Yes, that's true. Btw, a CORE bug, not from Links Directory app. Happens in any 3rd-party apps (it doesn't happen on IPS apps, IIRC).
