Hey all, Iv tried to look through the options to figure this one out but have gotten nowhere. I currently have this, But I'm trying to get it to look like this The 2 themes are different but I'm unsure if this is the theme or if this is an IPS option that I cant find. I want to add a couple useful third party ckeditor plugins to the IPS ckeditor. IPS uses their own inhouse file browser which is great but third party CKEditor plugins that need access to the media does not work. Hello , i am wondering how i would set up a disclaimer page that my customers would see first when they click on my google link intially for my website disclaimer page -> main website page so a customer would choose my address from google and see a disclaimer page full front, the customer would then be able to either accept or decline based on what they choose they are either linked to my main page or taken back to google. that's really all i want. I am taking my forums down now. So, I thought it would be better to take backup and keep files safe for the future. If required, I can run my forums again. I would like to know that I have downloaded complete forums folder from file manager till now. Do I have to do anything else?

Hello, as the IPS don't let place block or widget in specifically forum or page, when we place a block in a subforum that will appear in all others subforums, there is css solution that let me hide the block from subforums aren't my initial goal?

The old software we used to run on before migrating to IPS had the useful feature of marking all forums as read, with a single button on the main forum index page. This allowed users to quickly get up to date on the forums if they were away too long and weren't able to catch up on threads. A lot of our users have been complaining since our migration, asking for that feature back, as we have about 20 forum categories and marking each one as read individually is a nightmare. Has anyone got a solution to achieve this for us?

So I have a self-hosted forum and I finally got SSL through Cloudflare. Did everything I was supposed to do, forum works great, but avatars don't load. Randomly. Some avatars work fine for everyone, others don't at all. If I go to the avatar's direct URL, it says 403 forbidden. I don't get it. And sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Is there something I'm missing?

I'm trying to adjust custom user fields using the however I'm fairly new to REST API's and can't work out the format for the customFields parameter. The API reference says: Array of custom fields as fieldId => fieldValue Yet when i pass the following to it nothing gets changed on the user: {'field_2'=>'value', 'field_4'=>'value'} Could someone please let me know what the correct format for setting the custom fields are when using this endpoint via a POST request? Is there a way to only allow signatures for certain groups? I have been searching for info, however, it appears that it's only a site-wide setting (i.e. you can only turn signatures ON or OFF for everybody). Any pointers much appreciated 😎

I encountered something interesting today when posting an article in one of our forums. Midway through a sentence, a word was 'pluarlized' by adding a 's' inside brackets [ ]. For example, shirt(s) ... but instead of parenthesis, brackets as above. Everything in the post beyond the bracketed 's' was 'strikeout' formatting. The only way to remove the strikeout formatting was to past the article again without the bracketed 's,' because once published, the brackets disappeared (as did the 's'), and one is just left with strikeout text. In the sentence below, the word 'is' will be typed out as i(s) with the 's' in brackets, not parenthesis, so you can see…

Hey guys. A few good years ago I pruned a lot of topics, members, posts for no reason whatsoever, was just playing around with the settings. Nowadays I'm annoyed because my forum's statistics don't display the "real" number of posts and members. For instance, it says we have 15K members, but the id of our newest member is 25+. Likewise for our post count. Is there a way to artificially put the numbers back to what they should have been, without the pruning? I'm not looking to "lie," just looking to showcase the real stats. Obviously it's not an important issue, but figured I'd ask if there's an easy fix for it. Thanks.

Hello, guys! Could anyone (maybe IPS) help with BB codes prevention? I want to post some content which said to press the "B" button. Our content managers like to put "[" and "]" around "b". But it transforms into nothing and makes all next text bold. Same for "s" (stroke, yep) and "i" (italic). I tried to use HTML-editor and wrote [s] But unfortunately, it transforms into [ and ] and then stroke again! Any ideas (without hooks, obviously)?
