So I have my test site all setup and works like a charm however when restricting it to just my ip it breaks and have to add /index.php to see the site and the acp is non-existent. Is there a way to resolve this or will I have to install it on a local machine to get it working? Any help/advice would be appreciated. Running: Nginx: 1.17.6 PHP: 7.2.24 Message me if you need any other info.

I have been using Redis for some time now but updating to 4.4.8 I noticed that Redis is used for storage and caching. I was using MySQL database for storage and redis for caching. When I was updating Redis and went to re-enable redis caching I could no longer select MYSQL and redis caching, when selecting redis caching it configures redis for both caching and storage. Is this correct?? if it can be configured differently what is the best setup. redis for caching and storage, redis caching and MySQL storage or file storage. Would I have to configure through constants.php file if I wanted a different setup. Thank you

I require new users to purchase a subscription upon signing up to my site, and it appears that users who use a service to log in (e.g., Google, Twitter) are not required apparently? Is there a setting somewhere I am missing besides the "Force Subscription purchase when registering"?

We have right now a project that is not online yet. The live domain runs another CMS and will be replaced soon. The new content is now entered by team members on the test server, that runs IPS already. Team members set "internal" links in the database entries e. g. to contact page, calendar and so on. The issue we have: there are tons of links now that have a test domain instead of live domain. Like: text.example.com/contact instead of www.example.com/contact. The team members link what they see on the test server, additionally the pages with the same URL do not exist on the live domain. Hi, we are fighting this for whole week 😞 After every try of update of any application we got now: Sorry, you do not have permission for that! 1C133/9 The application you uploaded cannot be installed because it is not a valid application, the archive is corrupt or the file and directory permissions in /applications do not allow it. We have got 777 chmode on every files. We also have zip and other files (everything is on green when runnig help and diagnostic tools). Please help, we need to upgrade one critical aplications.

I have 40++ forums, I have been checking this out in-depth, what I found was all my forums but one was not listed in Google. What in the heck? 40 plus forums with thousands of posts not in google or have been submitted.. They were there years ago... Years ago my site went from hero to zero and I ost everything, now I know why, sitemap wasn't working and still years later is not. Hey. I cannot find a single method, to trace a PayPal transaction back to the IPS Commerce app? How is that possible? I.e if someone opens a dispute, how do I find the specific transaction/user on IPS? The PayPal transaction doesn't even contain the invoice id, for me to track it down. The user usually use a different PayPal email as well, so searching by email will not work.

I have a product that involved a renewal I am discontinuing. I have a few customers who are subscribed to the product, and they are still being charged. Every time I refund their purchase, the system charges them again for the renewal fee!!! How can I stop it?

Is there any way to automatically send a member an email or private message if they haven't logged in for a certain amount of time? I have a diet/fitness oriented community, and a big part of it involves members checking in regularly to stay consistent with their diet and workout. So, it would be awesome if we could automatically have a message or email sent to them if they haven't logged in for a while to help get them back on track. Is anything like this possible? Thanks.

We have tons of user profile SPAM and I'm looking for a way to curb this. We require all first posts to the forum be approved by a moderator. This stops 99.9999% of forum SPAM. However, the spammers now just sign up for accounts and leave SPAM in their user profiles. I have to manually go through each new user on a weekly basis and look for profile SPAM. Question: What's the best way to stop this without curtailing regular user's engagement with the site?

We have a group of tags users assign to forums posts and topics. We have decided to migrate those tags to a new set, and have build a relation table between the old tags and the new ones. For instance, if we had "PARENTS and "SIBLINGS" in the current tag system, we want to change both into "FAMILY" How can we migrate the old tags to the new ones?

According to this documentation - "If your external application is on the same domain or subdomain as your IPS Community Suite you can easily include the IPS Community Suite framework and use the objects and methods made available to validate a user as being logged in." We have an application on a subdomain - but the print function is returning what appears to be an encrypted username - which isn't matching up. I'm looking for an addon/application that can manage a contest (with a start/end date) where users can submit a file (in my case, an audio file) or link to a file, and then everyone gets x number of votes to vote for the most popular files. Displaying the top 10 items that were voted on would be nice as well Or, would something like this be possible in Pages?

I'm using the built-in advertisements now and noticed that all three versions of an ad are pulled down even when only one size is shown. In the screenshot below you can see the Large, Medium, and Small images are pulled form the server. This increases load time for no apparent reason. Google page speed also says these are off screen images that should lazy load. Question: Is this normal that all three sizes load when only one is shown? Question: Wouldn't is be better to just load the largest one and resize it with CSS because it's going to load anyway?

hi, I wonder why is it so that twitter style emojis take to long to load when you want to use them? first you click on emoji icon, then the window appears with emojis being like glitched for the lack of a better word, and in 2-3 seconds normal emojis appear. cant they be cached to something, makes using emoji not that smooth of a process? anyone else suffering from that?
