I have upgraded 3.2 to 4.3 on the test server and encounter an issue that some users cannot login with their valid passwords any more. Another users can. I have investigated further and found one dependency: if user's password contains capital letters in it then user cannot login in 4.3 after upgrade. If there are no capital letters in the password the login credentials are still valid. Has someone encountered the same issue? Is it a bug or works as desired? I have over 280 000 users and would like to avoid mass changing passwords after upgrade. It is already "difficult" for users to use their display name or email instead of login. Hi there, I have NO idea why, but my word filter in the admin panel is not allowing users to type the letter X. It changes it to ***** I even set up a rule to get it to convert back to X, but no luck. I also tried deleting the 'xxx' filtered word (Google says it goes against their terms which is why it's there in the first place), but no luck. Any idea why this could be happening?

Hi there. Google is notifying me of bad words on my site. I am trying to clean everything up because it impacts site revenue. It's listing several Tweets that use bad words. I deleted the Tweets in the posts, but's also linking directly to the Tweet. For example, this Tweet was removed from the topic, but it still exists somehow on my forum. Can members login into an IPS powered site by using OAuth? I'm trying to understand this method, as I am seeking notifications to be made for my webview app so that users can get their own specific ones. If a user logs in with OAuth via the app, it can generate a registrationToken that can be used.

Hi Invision, Recently, the MultipleRedirect javascript (and CSS) has been modified: it now uses the CSS "content" property to display the MultipleRedirect progress label. However, it's a bit embarrassing, as we now can't display HTML in this progress label. The former method was simply using javascript .html() jQuery method to display this label, and we were able to use HTML. => Why such a change? Isn't it possible to go back to the previous method? Thank you!

Hi Guys - As I wrote in this topic - HERE - we need to change the data-role name from sidebarAd to something without the name "Ad" in it because Adblock Plus blocks anything with this name. I can rename the data-role in the template but then the sidebar has trouble being displayed on mobile devices for some reason (see linked topic above). Question: What's the best way to rename a data-role?

Help please, I recently updated a category to hide it from all of the users. Then i re-arranged another forum to appear higher than the others, i started editing that forum and then when i went back to refresh the forums. Every category is missing and not showing up on both forum and admin cp. Also i cannot access any posts that have been posted by anyone. Can anyone help please :(

I just noticed the ads in the sidebar are now blocked by Adblock Plus. It only seems to effect the sidebar ads and it seems to block all sidebar content whether or not it's ad related. Anyone else see this?

Hi. So I've recently decided to give the developer tools a try as I'm planning on creating an application for IP.Board. However in my attempt to install the tools and configuring the forum to use them I'm having some issues. The title sounds bad but there's a positive motive behind it. Just realized our settings were set backwards to Opt all new users OUT by default. Now that that's fixed, I'm curious if we can force all the non-opters back into the email list. I won't do it again, just wanted to see if we can capture the lost members into our email blasts.

Hi, I just installed the new version fo the forum software, and now we are getting people using the forum to send out huge numbers of spam emails ... many thousands. How can I shutdown ALL email capability in the forum until such time I can figure out what is going on? ... I want to disable the forum from sending any emails whatsoever. Thanks!

Hi All, I am getting some 403 errors when trying to save some changes. For example, I am trying to set up Google Analytics, I paste the code, hit save, 403. Same when setting up Terms and Privacy. I have full access. This is self hosting. Any thoughts? New leadership for the organization is now in place and we need to make some edits to our forums.
