Hey Everyone, I am trying to use the Rewrite URLs? option under SEO but I dont know what I need to put in the nginx site configuration file. I was hoping someone here could help me because IPB Support doesnt offer nginx support. Hi, I am trying to define the width of YouTube player added via the field YouTube. I have added both parameters: width and height. But they are ignored and the video is displayed in the full width: All other parameters work. Only width and height is ignored. I've had my forums for years but rarely if ever have used the bulk mail option. The reason is that I think I lost the template that comes with the forum software or something as the emails I send out just aren't responsive. The images I include stretch way beyond the viewable window of the device the reader is using. The text is also too small to read if I do include an image. So basically I guess I'm asking did the forum software come with a basic default mail template to use that is a responsive one? ps - this issue with images also applies to all outgoing emails not just bulk emails - the same issue is in notification emails and daily digest emails if …

With moving to Amazon SES, I recieve messages when a member's email bounces. Most often it is someone who hasn't been on in over a year, so I get into their preferences and turn off their notifications. I also get messages about complaints. Recently I received a complaint about receiving email. But I see that I already turned off all their notifications and email in december. And yet they received an email of our "digest" of posts. Johns Hopkins makes the COVID-19 map available as an iframe embed. I tried on my site as I allow admins to post HTML. I was not able to post it. Is there anything special I need to do to allow it? Is there a way to allow others to post embeds that are iframes? Would you allow it? I will try to explain this as best I can as it's a really weird one. Have had a forum since about 2004 I think, and over that time have made many mistakes with the database and categories but I've found that I have many topics and threads on the site that don't appear, and I think it's because they don't have any parent category attached for them to appear in. (this is a guess at this stage) This could have come about when archiving and unarchiving, whilst at the same time deleting parent categories and leaving the topics/posts homeless (yes I know - I messed up) So I know the stuff is there, it's in the database somewhere but the topics just aren't showing on th…

Just received a notification email from my forum to say a photo I'd posted had been reacted to. The photo was copied into the email and wasn't responsive - instead it stretched way beyond my screen Is that supposed to be like that? Is there a way to make all emails from the forum responsive?

If we sell a product via IPS4 and we have paypal and cc's enabled. If a user files a dispute or refund with paypal or their CC will the IPS system get updated and notified that a refund was done?

Hey Community!! I was wondering what's your strategy for the mailining. In a forum that has several years, usually some user email accounts tend to be removed. That means that email notifications tend to be bounced. What do you usually do? In my own experience, I was wondering if there's a way of setting up a member group that disables notifications. Just like the "Validating" step. Do you know if there is a way of setting up a new group that disables notifications or locks the sending of common emails? All ideas are welcomed, thanks!

I want to change the clubs URL from: https://site.com/clubs >> https://site.com/index.php?app=core&module=clubs&controller=directory to: https://site.com/groups >> https://site.com/index.php?app=core&module=clubs&controller=directory But I do not want to lose the old URL links. Is there a way to set a URL redirect https://site.com/clubs >> https://site.com/groups inside IPS or will I have to use Apache redirection?

Hi all, Hope you can help me with this one. I have a forum where there's a problem after posting a new post/thread. After pressing the button to submit the new post or to start the new thread the content posts just fine, but then all buttons on the site except the banner don't work. If I try to click on the reply box below the post it won't respond or open either If I refresh the page it all works fine It just seems to be after I've posted something, it doesn't seem to refresh the page properly and renders all links/buttons useless Any ideas?
