Received the following message. How would I correct this? This occured after I performed a Windows Server update. I have no idea how to repair this. And now, this is what my forum looks like. http://www.6thcorpscombatengineers.com/engforum/index.php?act=idx Warning MySQL InnoDB: Cannot open table vicorpsforum/ibf_core_log from the internal data dictionary of InnoDB though the .frm file for the table exists. I can't obtain help from tech support because even though I have been a client for 12 years, they no longer support Windows, so they were unwilling to help me.

I've only recently switched over to Firefox from Chrome, and have just noticed an issue when pasting in a YouTube url into a post, it does not automatically convert it over into the video like how it does with Chrome. Is this actually a known issue with Firefox, or is this something maybe wrong on my end? Any feedback on this? Thanks everyone.

Hey guys, I have an older site where we've added a menu item, set it to "open in new window", works fine on desktop browser, but on mobile, it doesn't open a new window/tab. It's like this on the default theme too, so it's something with the IPS theme. I can go in and fix it manually, but I want to check if there's some option I don't remember on 4.2 or if this is normal... Thanks!

I have over 2000 paid subscriptions on my vB4 board that I need converting over to my new Invision site. Having done a couple of test conversions now, I've only just realised that paid subscriptions aren't part of the conversion. :( Looking at how I'd do this manually for a single user, I'd create a "paid" invoice for the user, adding the new subscription to it, then I'd have to edit the purchase to correct the expiry date. I'm not going to be doing that by hand 2000 times! Has anyone else successfully converted paid subscriptions or can offer any advice for writing my own conversion (i.e. what data is needed in which tables)

I'm just getting started with Invision and imagine someone has already addressed this.. but I can't find it! I am making a forum with restricted access for members only. Is it possible to set a default home page for guests, while keeping the forums as the default for logged in members? It seems to be one or the other regardless of status. Just thought I'd check to see if I'm missing something easy before doing it the hard way. Thanks!

I try to create forum with permissions: 1. One category with one forum 2. Logged user can create topics 3. Logged user can see only own topics 4. Guest must see category & forum header (with counters/last post) 1,2,3 - it works. 4 - category don't shows for guests. When option "Users can see topics posted by other users?" unchecked, i can't change forum permission for guests, checkbox inactive. Why is such mode impossible? Or did I miss something?

Good Evening. I am starting a new project where my new site will be centred around people creating and customising there profiles. I have the perfect domain for this but this will only work perfectly if i can have domain.com/username My attempts have resulted in failure so far with putting domain.com/{?} for domain.com/index.php?/app=core&module=members&controller=profile The error this gives is: The Friendly URL must be unique, the value entered will conflict with other Friendly URLs and support have pointed me to this forum to seek help. Has anyone done this with invision ? I have managed it with buddypress but well.... its not as good!

I've been using the Invision forums for many years now, but recently launched a new site that makes use of the Downloads module for the first time. For the forums component, I have it set up so that the initial Members group that new users are assigned to is moderated (requires approval for posts), and then after x number of posts, they are promoted to a new group that isn't moderated. I want to replicate this model for the Downloads component, so that newbies in the Members group need to have their uploads approved, just so I can ensure they're legit before letting them off the leash. However, I can't work out how to do this, or if it can even be done at all. Would love …
