I am using menu manager to do a dropdown list of external links. Once I build the menu, whenever I click the parent, and the menu drops down...as soon as I move my mouse over the dropdown list, it closes the dropdown. I need to go up again, click the parent....drop down...move mouse and the whole thing collapses again. Positioning the mouse doesn't help. It does this 5 or 6 or 8 times until suddenly it seems to think it has loaded everything ok and then I can navigate the menu fine. Takes about 30 second of 'whack a mole menu' before all is fine to select. Hard to explain to my members they need to repeatedly do it until it works. Anyone have any ideas? Could it b…

Is there a way we can switch to PayPal's Payouts API to automatically send withdrawal requests without needing something custom made? In withdrawal settings, Invision forces you to use the legacy NVP/SOAP API integration which utilizes website masspay. It's 75% cheaper to send withdrawals via Payouts API (0.25c per US transaction) than the normal mass payout which is 2% capped at $1-$20+ depending on country.

Hey people. I have a quick question regarding Subscription package images on the non-fluid wide option of a theme from IPS Focus (not specifically asking for support for that theme). So In the Subscriptions bit, the image of the packages stretch out and aren't properly aligned. For example: If I go to Firefox's Inspect Element and under ".cSubscriptionsHeader" untick the "background-size: cover;" element, it shows as follows: Now the issue is the blue-ish background. If I enable the third subscription plan it aligns perfectly as so: How can we make it so it shows like the last one (the 3 plans) with only two?

I figured out how to make a Post block on my external page. I need help editing the template. (v4.5) It looks like this now. Hi I'm having trouble when updating to version 4.5. All is going fine but in the final step 5 the browser goes to step 1 and my community is still getting the message 'Updating.. check back soon....'. I'm not able to update again, my community is blocked for the admin and users. I've tried updating 4 times, with no luck. I always backup and restore the database so for now I'm stuck at version 4.4.10. After restoring the database I have to clean rediscache, otherwise there is a error 500 message. Anyone else with this problem?

I upgraded to 4.5 in CIC all third party apps disabled In market place there is no option to download : It says install from admin panel In admin panel - on clicking upgrade > it says upload file - but above point 3 says you cannot download IPS support says - ask third party developers I need the process so i can upgrade

Thinking of adding some adverts, as simply as possible. If I add them as images, and I do have some blocks in the sidebar and would like the adverts to be under those blocks, does anyone know the optimum width of the images/adverts? And how do different screen sizes and mobile themes then handle the ads? How to make the width fluid so it resizes with screen size? Is there a tutorial or a better plugin for this anywhere? Thanks.

I turned off forum posts for non members they can see the forums they just can't read or post the problem is they only have an option of contacting us or sign in as a member no place to register an account is there a fix for this so that they can register not contact I can't seem to figure out how the can register I would rather have a button where the contact us and sign in as a member buttons are i would rather have create an account button. or is there a setting i am not seeing? even on the navbar at the top says sign is as an existing member no place to register.

Hello, Before upgrading to 4.5, I used to have a link to edit a post at the bottom of each post right there: its to simplify the user experience by avoiding to go to a menu on the top right corner... I don't remember if it was a plugin, or a customization to the theme to get that. Anyone can help?

Hi, I've been searching for this for a while now, I'm not sure if i'm missing it or if it's been removed. Is it possible to assign a custom title per user or per rank? I see a global setting, but I don't see a setting to set a title for specific groups i.e administrators or moderators. Thanks.

Hello, After updating to Invision Community 4.5 when the popup appeared at the top of my forum, I'm getting an ominous error when I try to interact with one of my plugins. Is there some way I can fix this or roll back to 4.4.10? I would not have done this update if it had been more clear it might knock out critical plugins. The release notes did not suggest that at all. Thanks!

I'm asking here because perhaps I'm just missing the option for this. In my community, we have a mixture of staff- and player-run events. I have an events board in my forum, segregated by whether it is a staff- or player-run event. Players use this board to post details about the event including its time, in-game location, whether it's an open or closed event, and so forth. They also add one of four tags: upcoming, postponed, completed, or canceled. I would like to tie this in to the calendar system so staff and player events appear on the calendar. Hey all, I just popped my IPS ban-cherry and banned our first user after migrating from VB. Back in VB, when someone was banned, they were automatically moved to a seperate user group which had special group formatting and a custom title. Now, it didn't happen. I tried poking around in the group promotion section but couldn't find anything that referred to banning. Can anyone point me in the right direction (could also be a plugin that does that). Thanks.

Let's say I allow members 200 pm's. But now I want to introduce tiers, where regular members get maybe 100, and special members get 500. If I change the allocation to members down to 100, what happens to those who already have more than 100 in their pm box? Do they keep them all and just can't do more, or will it delete the oldest ones until they only have 100? I wouldn't want members to lose pm's that they already have. Thanks in advance.

FYI: This is not a IPB related question I have PHP business directory and one of the area is outputting this gibberish text? Anyone has any idea why?
