Just upgraded to 4.5 and my search bar is now on the left of the page rather than the right as it was before! Any ideas please?

Your 4.4 theme doesn't work in 4.5 anymore. I would suggest to create a new one based on the 4.5 default theme.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a guide on how to do that? Happy to use the default theme with some minor colour changes.

Go to AdminCP -> Themes and create a new theme (manual mode).

Then click on the pencil icon and compare the settings (colors etc.) of your old theme and use them in the new one.

This should restore the basic look and feel. If your old theme has more advanced customizations, you should contact the designer.

I've done that and am on the vanilla theme now and everything is where it should be, thanks.

I'd like to change the colours at least and whenever I use the visual editor I get it how I want it to look and when I build the theme with those new colours it ends up completely different. Does the visual editor actually work? 

To be honest, I never really used it, always manual mode.

There is an open bug report related to compiling themes using the visual theme editor not working correctly. We will investigate it for an upcoming maintenance release.
