Hello, When using group promotions to manage automated scaling group assignment, I found that when editing a profile field for a member doesn't immediately change the group as you save the user. I have gotten this to work only if this user logs in, someone visits their profile, or another change/saving action is performed on their profile. Since we are using external code to edit a profile field that tracks a users' donations, with this task running every 5 minutes, this is causing inconveniences, where a user may stop browsing within this time frame, and their profile would not be updated. I have Database #1 where cross-linking from a database relationship field in Database #2 is enabled. The items in Database #2 are imported via RSS. While configuring RSS I have set a database-relationship field properly. Result: the items are imported, and the database relationship field is filled as desired. But there is no cross-linking for the imported items. I have to open and resave them to get the cross-linking shown. Hello, I am reporting a bug. Let me explain when it happens. I've replicated this problem many times, I just did it on a couple of posts. I edit a post that contains an image (I tried it with posts that have image because 99% of my posts contain images) I edited the text. Just anything Saved the edited post I start writing a new post right underneath. If I try to past an image that I have in my clipboard with the CONTROL+V or COMMAND-V on Mac, the image will NOT be pasted I will have to refresh the page for the image pasting functionality to work again. I've just run the update to the latest version, and on exit from the installer, when I selected "Visit Community", just just showed the bog-standard error message: An error occurred (500 Error) We're sorry, but a temporary technical error has occurred which means we cannot display this site right now. You can try again by clicking the button below, or try again later. I can't get into the admin panel either, even after rebooting the server, so I'm effectively locked out of the site. I need help as a matter of urgency. Mike.

Just upgraded system (we only use Forums) to v 4.7.3 from 4.4.10. The Topic Feed provides a list of topics with recent posts in the right margin of the forum top level. In previous version, Topic Feed titles were bolded to indicate unread posts in the topic (just like in forum topic lists) and the bolded links directed user to the first unread post on the topic. After the update, these topic links are not bolded and point the user to the topic OP. This isn't useful and obviates the usefulness of the Topic Feed widget/block. Hello. Today i upgraded our Ubuntu server to php8.1 and also upgraded Invision to 4.7.3. I use Nginx as a web server. Using php7.4 everything works fine. When i switch to 8.1, i need to disable a few Applications and Plugins for the forum to work, but it works fine. What is very strange is that one cannot log in to AdminCP, since it lands in Dashboard. If i am already logged in to AdminCP but on another area then Dashboard when i restart Nginx after switching to php8.1 from php7.4 i can freely navigate AdminCP, except Dashboard. Hi Invision team, On our forum we are currently using the following Standard authentication method only: Sadly, it seem this stops the template from showing the Login Popup, and instead when users click “Sign In” they are taken to a login page instead. We had to hack the userBar template from 1 to 0 so that it shows it every time. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Is there anything else we are missing that may be causing this behavior? Hello, Every mobile widget, by default, is located at the bottom of the mobile page. I understand why, but it is not efficient with some widgets. For example, The registration widget containing the gmail&facebook registration link should be the first thing guests will see. Is there no option to move the location of the widget on mobile?

Maybe someone has an idea: I have a user in my forum who had problems logging in. After various attempts on his part, I have now reset his password via ACP. If I now try to log in with his account and the new password for testing, I only get a white page and the error "HTTP ERROR 500" after confirming the password. The page is then completely inaccessible, even after closing and reopening the browser. Only after deleting the browser data (cookies etc.) can I access the forum again. I've noticed that when someone adds a quotation mark (") in a title, it messes up the the URL name and notification email titles. For example, on my site, "Quotation marks" results in quotQuotation-marksquot in the URL. Apparently it works fine here, so perhaps this was fixed in 4.7?

is it the 'Beginner' plan cannot show the social profiles link icon under the footer? I'v setup the link and site inside the admin panel - general configuration - social profiles, but nothings changes. Footer or header still dont have any social profiles I set appear, I go to the Theme setting all the related setting has been turn on. What happen for this ?

After switching to back to PHP 7.4 from PHP 8.1, I can no longer access the AdminCP. I am getting the error below. How can I access AdminCP to restore? I currently have the Invision gallery installed but the forum is going to be only added in January. Right now, I still use bbpress, which has been ok for years. Right now, I encourage my members to post their projects in the gallery, and embed their image in the specific forum threads. However, this is slightly different than they used to do as before we had the gallery, all the information about the project was also posted in the forum. Reaching out to others with the commerce application. I'm exploring commerce in the 4.7 trial. I have set up a product, a shirt, and added two colors and 5 associated sizes. I added the stock numbers for each size and color. On purpose, I had some sizes as zero but other sizes and colors do have some stock numbers. My question: why does it show "0 in stock" under the product label and price when in fact the system allows me to select an instock size and price and go all the way to checkout?
