First, I want to be clear that I'm loving IPS 4.1. My site has a much better feel all around since moving up from 4.0. Overall, very impressive release. I really like the selective quoting and format removal option on paste. Very cool. Seems smoother and faster as well. I can't get custom links to save in the menu manager. The save button won't work. Activity streams and drop down menus save just fine. I've tested in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Cleared cache, just in case. I've also seen it on multiple occasions create a bunch of menu items on it's own that I then have to delete. This screenshot is after deleting 3-4 already. In Chrom…

Trying to prepare for the upgrade from IPB 3.4.7 to 4.1.2 and after upgrading the database to MySQL 5.5, the forum went down with a "Drive Error". How I updated my database was by creating a backup of the current database, created a new database on MySQL 5.5, restored the files to the new database running on MySQL 5.5, and then connected via my conf_global.php file. Anyone else have issues with this? My hosting contacted me... Database tables were missing and they fixed it.. Problem solved!

Hi all, I've spend my half day today to understand how to set up an Amazon S3 account to work with my attachments and files from IP.Downloads, I don't know if everything it's ok because when I want to upload an attachment it appears a message about time out. In Downloads the file seems to be uploaded but after hit the submit there is an error. In Amazon S3 console these 2 files are in the bucket and I don't know why they are in. Does anyone knows what can I do?

Instead of redirecting to the page the sign out was initiated from it now goes to the board index. How can I get back to the previous behavior. For specific application needs, I need it to forward back to the page the user clicked "sign out" on. Sign in redirection works great. Forwards right back to my application like I need it to but since the upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1.1 sign out goes to the back to the index.

I thought I would ask here before I logged an "unnecessary" bug report. Basically, I as admin and another group have the permission to edit posts indefinitely. When I accessed the post, I cannot scroll the post and certain editor icons are greyed out (custom and default theme). The quoted text areas and spoiler text has been corrected since the gif was taken. Anyone got any ideas as to what might be causing this?

Hey there, I've just sent a request to support but thought someone might have a solution here. After upgrading all the board pages such as /login, online staff ect give the error 2T187/2. I can't login to the front end of the forums (while /admin login works fine). It will not load any type of service page within the forum. Any thoughts appreciated, Thanks

When trying to create a page with filename 'events' I get the following message - "This folder name cannot be used as it causes a URL collision with another installed application." What application uses that filename and is it possible to change it? I'm guessing it's calender but wasn't 100% sure.

Hey, i just got an external system and would like to integrate it closer to my forum. The first instance would be to match the header & footer with the page. Since i want to serve also the whole functionality, im wondering if there is an option to hook the whole suite (top bar, menu) at some point and integrate it into my framework. I know that phpbb has such a functionality, just wondering if IPS has the same. The page cannot be driven by the CMS Application itself, since i have a complex database. Regards
