John_C Posted November 3, 2015 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Trying to prepare for the upgrade from IPB 3.4.7 to 4.1.2 and after upgrading the database to MySQL 5.5, the forum went down with a "Drive Error". How I updated my database was by creating a backup of the current database, created a new database on MySQL 5.5, restored the files to the new database running on MySQL 5.5, and then connected via my conf_global.php file. Anyone else have issues with this? My hosting contacted me... Database tables were missing and they fixed it.. Problem solved! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
