  1. Sweet, posted this to the bug tracker and it's been marked fixed as of the next release, 4.1.3. Thanks IPS!
  2. Okay, guess I have to do it myself. Here's how to fix that for anyone searching. Unfortunately had to dig into the code. /public_html/ipb/applications/core/modules/front/system/login.php comment out line 209 (as of 4.1.2) //$redirectUrl = ( $referrer->isInternal and isset( $referrer->queryString['do'] ) and $referrer->queryString['do'] != 'validating' ) ? $referrer : \IPS\Http\Url::internal(''); Add the following line from version 4.0 $redirectUrl = ( !empty( $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] ) ) ? \IPS\Http\Url::external( $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] ) : \IPS\Http\Url::internal( '' ); I also didn't like the added query string... \IPS\Output::i()->redirect( \IPS\Login::getDestination()->setQueryString( '_fromLogin', 1 ) ); change to \IPS\Output::i()->redirect( \IPS\Login::getDestination() ); \IPS\Output::i()->redirect( $redirectUrl->setQueryString( '_fromLogout', 1 ) ); change to \IPS\Output::i()->redirect( $redirectUrl ); ... fixed. For some reason it always forwards to my board index without this modification to the code.
  3. I have a couple of posts that seem to be stuck. Even though they've been done they still show on the index. When I click it there's nothing to be done. I've already run "Something isn't working correctly" from adminCP and this persists.
  4. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about? Are there any options for the way the sign out redirection works?
  5. Guess I'm not cool enough for that option. I've been using IPS since 2010 and I've never seen that. Maybe when they added the option they never added it on my account... and only newer accounts see that. I'll have to open a ticket about and ask.
  6. Fixed. I actually am having a beer right now too. Btw, 4.1.2 wasn't out when I posted this. It must have been release around the same time as my post. Thanks IPS! You rock.
  7. I think they're looking for more of an all around rewrite rule that's wildcard for all posts and topics. RewriteRule ^topic.([0-9]+).html$ /topic/$1- [NC,R=302,QSA,L] RewriteRule ^forum([0-9]+).html$ /forum/$1- [NC,R=302,QSA,L] But those actually won't work... the problem is that since 4.0 it seems the topic and forum URLs will only resolve with the name appended. You used to be able to enter http://www.medprof.ru/topic/33193- and it would resolve to http://www.medprof.ru/topic/33193-болезни-сердца/ automatically... doesn't do that anymore. So you'll have to do something like this. RewriteRule ^topic.([0-9]+).html$ /index.php?app=forums&module=forums&controller=topic&id=$1 [NC,R=302,L] RewriteRule ^forum([0-9]+).html$ /index.php?app=forums&module=forums&controller=forums&id=$1 [NC,R=302,L] Instead of using the friendly URLs you point them to the query string format. I tested those URLs on your forum so I'd bet those rules will work for you.
  8. First, I want to be clear that I'm loving IPS 4.1. My site has a much better feel all around since moving up from 4.0. Overall, very impressive release. I really like the selective quoting and format removal option on paste. Very cool. Seems smoother and faster as well. I can't get custom links to save in the menu manager. The save button won't work. Activity streams and drop down menus save just fine. I've tested in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Cleared cache, just in case. I've also seen it on multiple occasions create a bunch of menu items on it's own that I then have to delete. This screenshot is after deleting 3-4 already. In Chrome you can't arrange the menu items. I had to go over to Safari to do that. Arranged fine in Safari. So, the menu manager might as well not even be there. What a tease. You can only rearrange the icons or create activity streams that are already created. Can't wait to actually be able to use that to include my own custom items.
  9. Instead of redirecting to the page the sign out was initiated from it now goes to the board index. How can I get back to the previous behavior. For specific application needs, I need it to forward back to the page the user clicked "sign out" on. Sign in redirection works great. Forwards right back to my application like I need it to but since the upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1.1 sign out goes to the back to the index.
  10. Fixed it myself by resorting to a backup. Which was pre-4.1 so I then had to re-upgrade... There had been tons of activity since the backup so I THEN had to import topics, posts, members, PM's.. etc from the bad database. After this I was able to run "Something isn't working correctly." without issues and my forum is back online. One issue I encountered was in copying the 4.1 database immediately after the upgrade. phpmyadmin would copy almost everything, it was off a hundred or so records, out of 2,239,100 and would never finish the process. Looking at the processlist in mysql showed no more activity so I could tell it was done, it just never said done "copying database...". Each time I would copy the database it would result in a different number of missing results, sometimes off by much more. So I went with the copy that was missing the least amount of information. Copying the copied database resulted in a successful copy. Everything appears to be resolved. Hell of a ride.
  11. Thanks for the response Tracy, I've already tried using a default theme and have no plugins or add-ons. It was also working fine prior to executing "Something isn't working correctly." Here's an update to that ticket that explains further.
  12. Hey @Jim M any news on that similar issue yet? Still haven't seen any activity on my support ticket and I'm just getting worried this is going to go into tomorrow now... Definitely a critical problem, I have hundreds of thousands of pages down. Just to go over it again: No plug-ins or apps, default unmodified 4.1 theme... was working great after the upgrade until I ran "Something isn't working correctly." -- on the first step it mentioned that it cleared cached items. Before moving to the next step I checked the site and the error 500 was present. I feel like it must be something simple. Possibly something in the database that it's removed that's not being re-created properly.
