For instance I'm looking in admin folder and it's all the stuff from 3.4, but in my admin folder in the 4.1 install, there are only 3 folders. Will I be safe to just follow whats in the 4.1 installation folder? I've also got 1,500 images in uploads directory call av-####.jpg, are these still used?

Is there a way to remove the calendar menu item from the nav bar? We don't need it as a menu item and it'd be great to be able to hide the menu item or even rename it to "events" or something similar. Thanks!

Hello, I would like people in my community to be able to include this type of flash replayer into their posts: http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/7687929 Under the replayer you can see a couple of options to manage this: Embed, Forum BB Code, Forum BB Code (Vbulletin). Since we have upgraded to the latest version of IPB, we have had some issues, but the main one is that our board cannot send emails, either via PHP, SMTP or SparkPost. When sending out a Test Email this is the following error returned. Is this a known issue or has someone else come across this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Since announcements with group permissions is not going to happen, I'm looking for a different way to encourage my guests to sign up / actually make them understand that they need to sign up in order to post replies / new topics. Right now when a guest is viewing the forum, he does not have any "new topic" / "post reply" buttons - at all! If he wants to ask a question, he needs to realize by himself - with no help at all from our side - that he needs to first sign up. This is causing our participation rate to be much lower than it could be, simply because guests don't see any button that will encourage them to participate. Best solution IMO wou…

Hey folks. I need some help with something. I have a moderator trying to upload a podcast to the site. He has no limitations on upload file size and I have my upload limits for the server set to 300M through my PHP.ini file. The upload reaches about 99% and then he gets a -200 error and the upload fails. I'm attaching a screen shot. We would very much like to host our podcasts on our own server but can't with this issue.

Evening When I view the board index as a regular user I see If I copy the regular user group to new group I get Ok so i may have fiddled initially with the theme,css of the revised theme to move the search bar and the user nav bar about but I created 5 groups that work this way months ago - Only today I have tried to create a new group and the later is what I get Any offers? Alright, so I've noticed latest topics functions a little weird. I have a topics block above my forums configured to pull from my news forums. This works as I'd like. When a user makes a reply to any of them, it says the time / date that they posted and their username / avatar in the topics feed. However I have a 2nd topics feed on my sidebar, and it acts differently. When a new user makes a reply, it instead shows the original poster's time / date and username / avatar. I've had a few users complain to me about this and honestly it doesn't make sense. Why does the full-width latest topics function differently than the sidebar latest topics? It's the same block.…

Does anyone use the sparkpost API? In the past I could see the subject and what they clicked on under Message Events in Sparkpost reports (such as unsub). However, now, I can only see the following: Timestamp, Event, Campaign, Friendly From, Recipient, Message ID Not sure if this is something on the sparkpost side or the API side? I also used SMTP in the past, so maybe that has additional reporting options over the API? Thanks

I would like to add a custom tool bar button that pops out like the Emoticon button which contains the code in the embed box at the bottom of this link http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/converter-embed.php I haven't managed to accomplish this with the "Add Button" feature under Toolbars in the admin cp. I have an issue that I think only affects iOS devices. Our server and usergroup are set to allow 10meg attachments, and I can upload these via Chrome desktop and Chrome android just fine. However, iOS users are occasionally encountering an error: There was a problem processing the uploaded file. 200 This doesn't affect every image, nor does the size of the attachment seem to matter. Known affected devices are: iPhone 6, latest iOS 9, Safari. Multiple users are affected, but I do not know their specific iOS configuration. Affects both wifi and cellular data transfers.
