1. As mentioned above, you ned to contact your hosting company regarding this issue, as your server itself is blocking things you dont want it to be blocking.
2. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
3. The most likely cause is an issue with what you are actually changing. If you do something very small, such as just add a
test
does that save?
4. Your site actually appears to be online at present. Have you reverted, or managed to correct the problem?
5. I've created a ticket for you on this, so we can look further into what is causing your problem
6. Sorry, are you trying to create OAuth login here?
7. I have no problem with posting images from my own iPhone. If people are posting using another format of image, you would simply need to inform them they are not supported. Unfortunately we have no control over what browsers support
8. I believe the other questions, Randy has answered above. However with regard 3rd party solutions, this for example is one I can see in there https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/6877-mail-bouncer-automated-bounce-management/
9. There are no FTP details currently present. Please update all access details
10. I cannot see any license on your account with the ID you mentioned. If you would like to screenshot what you are seeing and send in a request to accounts on the contact form below, we can advise accordingly
11. Im a little confused as to what you mean here. You have actually added it twice on the page, so it would indeed show twice. The rotation is for when you set it to show on a standard ad location.
12. You can convert content from another invision site to an existing one, but you would need to make sure they are both on the latest release first. You would then use the conversion tool. You can see more about how to use this here
13. If you go to the content tab of any group, you can set them to require approval for all content there
14. I have created a ticket for you on this, so we can take a closer look
15. Take a look here, and look at the module permission section. You can switch them off at a module level for any group needed
16. It's a SAAS solution we offer (software as a service). Meaning that you would simply concentrate on running your site, and that alone. When you click on upgrade, it just does it. You dont need to think about what PHP versions things are running etc. The pricing you can find here https://invisioncommunity.com/buy Note, we can of course get you over there free of charge if you decided to go in that direction, and may even be able to offer credit for your self hosted license if you wish. Feel free to reach out directly if you have any further questions. This is a prime example of what I mean by "hosting issues". We know people who run communities, want to do just that, and not mess with the hosting side of it.
17. If you have your database set to post to forums, you will not see the field at present. We are looking to resolve that, however it had to be disabled on the last release, as it was causing a lot of issues elsewhere in the platform
18. There isnt really much more I can add to what I mentioned above unfortunately. There are 3rd party items you can use to manage this, but we do not have anything built into the software itself. As mentioned, we do have something coming for our cloud platform in the future.
19. Indeed, getting them to disable it entirely should be your first step. You need to rule it in/out first of all.
20. As an alternative, you could switch off access to profiles for the initial group, create a new group, and promote to that new group on reaching x posts
21. You appear to be on quite an old release there. I would advise on reverting to the backup taken before this first of all, just to get yourself back online. if you did want to try something else, you could switch "login_enabled" to 1 for the standard login handler there, then reset your password on the front end. Note however that this would be at your own risk
22. This should now be working, so if anyone is still having issues, please let us know.
23. Please could you check that again now and let us know if you are having the same issue? There were some issues yesterday, which I'm wondering if may be related. If they were, you are likely to find this now works.
24. This would generally be the best way to go if you are changing basic colors, by the way. 🙂
25. As mentioned above by Malwarebytes, from a security standpoint, no. However some prefer to exclude these for both the reasons mentioned
