  2. Do you have any extentions running on the browser. Given what you have said there, its sounding more and more browser related. Of course we cant tell it to do different things if there are different numbers of tabs open

  7. The backup was for the UTF8 converter in case that failed, which can of course be reverted. However you have gone a lot further than that process, and upgraded the site too

  9. It's a valid suggestion, however, bear in mind thats generally when there is a group discount across the board for something. This is individual product based, and has simply never been that way unfortunately.

  11. Unfortunately, we no longer support that version of the product. There are many who do provide assistance with this that you can find in the providers section if needed however. The issue you have is that there is a problem with the character set somewhere prior to you upgrading, so it cannot be corrected after the upgrade.

  13. Sorry, could you please clarify what exactly you are upgrading from? Are you upgrading from a very old release, or a more recent version?
  14. There is no other way other than to revert your backup unfortunately. There is an issue with the encoding of your database before its began. Likely that the data was not in UTF8 format
  15. Ah, it will probably run until timeout on your mysql instance, so increasing the length of time a query can be run for would likely resolve that issue, if its causing you a problem. There is no way in which to increase the times it runs

  17. Im not sure where you get the impression there that it would only delete 1 page of content. It would delete any content that is past that expiry, not just one page.
  18. Could you let me know what you are referring to as 'short time' there? The system will intentionally time out on the admin CP, for security reasons. Im not sure what you mean on adding your IP in the admin CP. Please could you clarify? With regard your topics, you can click on "My Activity Streams" and click "My Content", or if you wish to be more specific about areas, you can click to create your own custom activity stream on that same menu.
  19. There is nothing I can see in there specific to the software. The issue here, is unfortunately in order to be able to assist with an issue, we need to be able to debug it, which we cant do on a local environment. I understand the issue you are facing and why you wish to check things, but really testing restore should be tested on the environment you would need to restore it to.
