I used to have an IPB forum on GoDaddy, just signed up with SiteGround. I have uploaded the files into my new site but got the following message when trying to access /admin/install Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '../../init.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php74/pear') in /home/customer/www/acahc.us/public_html/admin/install/index.php on line 13 tried adding (include_path='.:/usr/local/php74/pear') to the line but get the same message, please help!

When creating an oAuth there is a bewildering array of options which change depending on which previous options you have checked. Once I have tried a few times to connect and tweak the settings on the client side, IPS blocks me but there is no reset option in the AdminCP. Please can you confirm which settings and options I need to generate an oAuth to be able to connect externally to access the GraphQL and REST API features?

My community is running on old version, 4.4.10. I am currently performing test upgrade to latest and running into multiple issues. I suspect a overdue upgrade and forced php 8 upgrade at the same are part of the problem. I would like to perform a staggered upgrade, going first to 4.7.3 (the last supporting PHP 7.4), then isolate the PHP8 issues and perform second upgrade to latest. I would need to access the 4.7.3 installation pack which I don't seem to find in the client area- which apparently only allows latest.

One of the 2 licences transfered to the new server/hosting is showing this. Settings are the same at both licences. one licence is working fine, the other not. At what level should I tell my host to search to troubleshoot? (several smaller things not functioning on the frontend of the licence, I guess thats the issue?) When entering the data configuration then I have cleared cache and went from incognito windows to check things too but cant correct it.

The server of my community was provided by a friend of mine. My friend passed away 5-6 months ago. 😞 At the same time the server was down, i couldn't get a new backup. We lost all server logs. We reached out to his family but they did not help me to access server. I have the latest 2019 full (with ftp) back up available. (tar.gz) We installed the deticated server with the help of my other friends. Now I need to restore backup the community. How can you help me? I lost the forum I raised like a baby and I really appreciate your support.

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I'm trying to setup a scheduled task in plesk for my Invision Sites for the cron job that is suppose to run but I can't seem to find anywhere how often the job is suppose to run to know how to set this up. any direction is appreciated.

So this is odd.. my default homepage doesn't come up and instead I get my plesk login page BUT if I go to hosangit.net/admin I can login just fine. I can also go to any page like hosangit.net/blogs or hosangit.net/forums and they all work.. Now Pages isn't working no matter what which is default so I change the default page to blogs and all this does is make blogs AND pages not work but I can still get to forums or links or whatever. I reinstalled and same issue. I'm not at all saying its a IPB 4.7.8 issue but more looking for some direction on what the heck it can be. I reissued my certs, I removed rewrite and re-enabled as …

We hae approx 100 users signed up to get notifications of new topics being posted in one of our forums (a for sale forum), who are not receiving any notifications... Our test forum however (which I have followed in the same way) does send out notifications of new topics. Issue was in 4.7.4 and I upgraded to 4.7.8, and still have the same issue. Caches cleared Any insight on how to remedy, would be appreciated.

Hi Just trying a fresh migration to 4.7.8 and when in the admincp I try to edit Members Groups and it redirects me with an 2S100/1 error outside the admin/ path. I click on /admin/?app=core&module=members&controller=groups but it redirects (in the headers) to /?app=core&module=members&controller=groups and presents the error. Other Members functions work like controller=ip and controller=promotions but controller=groups redirects. I am logged in with the admin account created during the install before the import, that account used a unique email so it wouldnt be merged with the imported users. I know the plupload chunk size is automatically configured based upon the php upload_max_filesize Right now I have upload_max_filesize set to 10MB Is this the best setting if people are uploading 2GB or 3GB files? Thank you in advance.

I'm getting an error message during upgrade that I can't get past - "Truncated decimal value" in ../upg_107640/upgrade.php::50 My site is down. I cannot restart the upgrade, and when I go to /admin/upgrade it only gives me the option to continue the upgrade.

IPB Releases 4.7.3, 4.7.4, 4.7.5, 4.7.6, and 4.7.7 require PHP 8.0. We are unable to install these recent updates from IPB as of Feb. 27, 2023. From HostGator support - We will begin slowly rolling out PHP 8.0 to accounts starting early March 2022. Their "slow rolling" has been going on for a year now. I have called their support several times since early Dec., 2022. Each time the answer is the same - they have no information on when it will be made available. Are other people having similar issues? Is there any way to get them to just, say, you know, GET IT DONE ??

Hi. My forums are in a /forums folder. But my homepage URL goes to a WordPress page. I originally intended to build a WordPress site alongside the forums. But I never did. So now I have an entire WordPress installation, with several plug-ins all set up just to essentially run a single home page that has links to the forums. I would like to get rid of the WordPress installation. I've considered moving the forums over to the root, but it seems fraught with potential problems and issues, including things like having to divert thousands of topics URLs and potential Seo impact? Hi there, My community was working fine. I just started the upgraded to last version 4.7.8 from 4.7.7 and when the admin redirects to /upgrade I got: We were unable to start a PHP session. You will need to contact your host to adjust your PHP configuration before you can continue. The error reported was: session_start(): Failed to read session data: files (path: /var/cpanel/php/sessions/alt-php80) What should I do?? Sessions are working fine, what's going on now?

The system check part 2 of the upgrade process is asking me to install the following bunch of files. (see attached) How do I get out of the system check 2 process so that the forum is back up and running again and also how do I ask the system to stop checking for these files so that it can go through the upgrade process. system-check-files.txt

I'm currently on the Community Version 4.6.9 and would like to migrate to the newest 4.7.7 My current PHP is 7.4 When trying to switch to version 8.0 or 8.1 in order to perform the Community upgrade, I receive the 505 error in my Community: So I can not perform any upgrade. Anyone can help please?
