I can't seem to find any documentation on commissions and exactly how the system works. Here is how I believe it would work ideally for me (at least I think this would be ideal): The seller enters their own payment gateway information. Upon sale the fund split is automatic, % commission goes to the seller and the other half goes to admins accounts The reason I am thinking this is due to transaction fees so that we are not paying these fees twice, once for the sale and then again for the commission split.

Firstly: How would one set up promotions to move someone based on their inactivity to a new group that designates them as inactive, and then also a promotion rule that returns them to their regular group once they were active again? I tried figuring this out and ended up causing a bunch of errors so had to turn off promotions for the groups I created. The goal is: Person is in group 'regulars', hasn't posted for a month but still browses, so I want him to be automatically moved to a 'lurkers' group. Then, if the 'lurker' hasn't posted or browsed for a month, move him to an 'inactive for a month' group, and then if the 'inactive for a month' hasn't posted or …

Hi, Currently I just have the forum software. I plan on adding pages and blog at least at some point in the future. Is it best that I install my forum software on my website as X.co.uk or as X.co.uk/forum so that when I do add pages I can have the pages being the main page. How will this affect the SEO now if I set it to go to /forum when someone just types in X.co.uk? Thanks Matt

I have a member who started following an entire forum. She wants to get notification for every topic and reply there, regardless if it is a new topic, reply to old topic, etc. But it doesn't seem to work and on top of that she says she even stopped getting notifications for the old topics she was following. How can this be set up, to me it is a bit confusing the way the notification settings and system is structured?

Hello, I would like to have add a button which should search for all topics of an author in specific forums. I think I could use the search URL to do this. Is there a documentation for this? I couldn't find anything yet... So, if I use the search, it always requires a term or a tag and the URL looks like this: *DOMAIN*/search/?&q=test&type=forums_topic&author=Admin&nodes=23,18,50 So I think "q=" is the term, "author=" is the user, "&nodes=" are the forum IDs. The title is not very self explanatory so I'll try here. In download settings there is an option to "Post a topic when a file is submitted". Unfortunately I had a category where that setting was not ticked and now I have 20 files with no support forums. Is there a way to add this after a file was created or do I have to go the long hard way and re upload everything?

Can guests be given access to buy things from the store, and check out with information without registered on the forum? When I've tried on mine they just can't even access the store. The menu item for the store is set to available to all users and so are the products.

Sorry, I am not technical savvy (to say the least) and in the Admin panel there is no much to find with keywords (is this possibly related to the cloud version?). Hi guys, I was going into my default theme setting and notice they have no footer option, I think it's kind of funny we don't have that option as for their customers, has most CMS gives you a footer option. Reason I ask is that my coding knowlegde has gone poor with all the responsive coding, when I tried to make one it was breaking everywhere when changing view.

Hello! I recently purchased the IPS Community App. I am not trying to edit my user-groups a little bit, but struggling to find the answer to a few questions. 1. How can I add icons in front of a member's name that resides in a specific usergroup? (See attachment below) 2. Hi there - am quite new to IPS.. I am going to allow members in my community to post adult content in clubs (marked as Secret, invite only) which is great. But I'd also like to add a way to filter NSFW content in the main forums - does anyone knows of any of the below is possible? Currently, whenever a guest post a comment in topic "Guest" prefix is shown before the name. For example if the name of guest is "XXXX". It will be shown as "Guest XXXX". Is there any way to remove Guest prefix before the name of guest posters?

In the general statistics box, there is a 'most users online' stat. This is common on forums I've used before, and shows the most people who have ever been online at once. However, with IPS, this number has to be entered manually. What's the point of that? How would the admin even know or keep track? I don't get it...
