I'm not sure if this features exists and I just can't find how to enable it, but is there a way to send an automatic message to users when a new support request is received? The majority of my customers have the same issues that can be resolved with a couple of how-to videos I have posted on the site but they don't seem to actually watch those first. Plus I'm going on vacation next week and my temporary replacement won't have as much time to check for requests and reply as I do. An automatic response with links to fixes for most common issues would be helpful to my customers while I'm away. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I think I may have properly messed up, so thought I had better check with the pros! I had a forum called workshop, I dragged it out of the grouping in ACP and put added sub forums to it e.g electrics, mechanical etc. Now it doesn't have any posts, where would there be or what do I need to add to get them back? Hi Team, Was asking if there is a way to enable email notifications to admin when someone posts on forum. ( Just wanted to make sure that we have one place where we can check without logging into forum that someone posted so we could reply to same in case we didn't login to forum ) Also for notifications to users on forum as well e.g. there is 'Holiday Closure Read more...' on the pages in easy way.

So recently i updated my server to Centos 7 on Cpanel/WHM. I set up my homepage with WordPress. I want to setup my IPB forums at forums.domainname.com but i dunno how to. I have never had problems with domain.com/forum but than the link duplicates forum/forum. Can someone explain how to install IPB forums in a subdomain? I will highly appreciate that

Hello, Just recently relaunched a pretty big forum on IPS after being a Xenforo user for a really long time. I purchased the Commerce module as we'd been using a third party help desk service and figured this might be a smarter way of handling support requests. Bummed that guests cant open support tickets, but do have all support emails going into the system via pop3, so that goes a long way to solving it. Hello, On my website I want to create a boardgame database so people can add it as favorite product. The website is about boardgames and I am not selling boardgames but give the users the ability to add their favorite boardgames to their list and give reviews. So with the "bought" products they have their own boardgames list that they own. I also would be happy if it is just possible to create products that cannot be sold but generate a Top 10 products or so. Thanks! Regards, Rob

Hey, I can't seem to find too much information about the referral system, which is why I'm here hoping to find more answers. Ideally it would be great if we could possibly "trial" the Commerce application to see whether it suits our requirements. However, can the referral system still be used if there are no products being sold on the site - for example we're looking to encourage more users to sign up to our forum by getting current members to send referral links to others to encourage new sign ups; we're also looking at adding incentives for the referrer as well, but are these only available for use on products that are being sold in the shop? I cannot seem to get my post attachments from Xen 2.0 to import. Could someone verify the exact url to use? I have tried several different variations with no success, everything else looks good. Also, can the importer be used more than once to import data? In regards to question 2, I eventually want to purchase the gallery app and get my media imported from my xen site. Thank you.

I'd like to sell items to members of a private club, but initially limit the sales to two of each item per member. I am concerned with limited availability and some items are expected to sell out quickly. After a number of months I'd like to be able to remove the limits. Can I accomplish this is the IPS Commerce app? I see an option to allow each member to buy only one of each item, but how to limit to any other number. I saw the Group with Parent option, which I suppose would allow me to sell two of an item if I treat the second item as an association. However, I don't see how this would accurately keep track of the stock given the two different items required. …

Hello, Our community has an external calendar with a lot of events. I would like to be able to automatically sync that with the Calendar in our forum. I don't see an option to do this in the Calendar settings, but I thought I might be missing something. If it is not a built-in feature, can anyone recommend a plugin/mod that does it? Thanks!

As per title, Is it possible to zoom out a cover photo? The height being less than 200px is quite short (maybe this is just my theme) I can adjust the css for cover photos which is okay but ideally it would allow users to resize (based on zooming in and out as well as moving around) the photo.

Is someone already using it and can explain to me on how to set it all up. Generally im asking for 1) Do i constantly need to run a server so someone can buy it, or can they "start/create" it with an API call? 2) Do i have to take care of something when i want to sell domains, or can i just sell them without thinking about it?
