Okay, so I'm no dummy. I know WP and Joomla and ecommerce. I don't understand what I'm doing on setting my articles. 1. I want to add a 'summary' custom field to show teaser text on my main articles. Okay, add a field, no problem. Figure out the template later. 2. I run a large pet care site with a big forum (1M posts) that I'm migrating over from vB and a big Photopost Gallery (20K images). H! Could someone help me with the steps to do the following ? I have an ips installation in the root folder, "mycommunity.com" Now I would like to move the forum index to a subfolder: "mycommunity.com/websiteforum/" Should I create a new installation and import the data using the importer ? or .. Can I move the web data to the subfolder and change the info in the config php file ? Any other option ?

I have a Pages database that contains records for products purchased through commerce. I'd like for all members to be able to view the record, but to limit viewing a custom field within the record to members who have actually purchased the item and have an active subscription. Can anyone help me with a conditional (or other solution) to accomplish this in 4.3?

Hi guys, I just started my new IPS forum. I'm trying to get higher in the Google ranking right now, so I need to improve my SEO. I know a lot of SEO, because I'm studying Ecommerce marketing, so I don't need any advise to get higher in the ranking. But I know you can add robots at your SEO part in the ACP, but when I submit my robots, it doesn't save. Does anyone has the same problem? Or does anyone has a solution to get the robots.txt fixed? I see there's an option to tick that will remove all secondary usergroups when a product expires, is there a way to only remove the user from the specific group they were added to? I'm trying to use the system for varying types of products/subscriptions and the options provided seem to be horrible for this.

I want to add some custom emojis, but I want them at the bottom of the menu. Any idea if this can be achieved? It seems that new emoji groups go to the top by default. I don't mind editing template if I have to, but I don't know where to look.

Where you have the option: Trust IP addresses provided by proxies? I would suggest making 2 independent options here. Essentially: Trust IP addresses provided by proxies on main site? Trust IP addresses provided by proxies on admin cp? The reason being that Cloudflare, a very popular and free CDN, does not play nice with IPB's caching. And I suspect it's not alone. When Cloudflare is enabled, and the admin is in Invision's admin cp, the admin will be logged out every time they try to save a setting or run a search, and given the error that their IP does not match the current IP of the session. I moved servers and instead of transferring entire server content with old plugins etc, I am starting fresh and importing the database, same URL. However when I try to install on the new server it is giving me the error "An installation has already been activated for this license key. Your license key entitles you to one installation only. If you need to change the URL associated with your license, contact IPS technical support." Any ideas?

IPS Theme comes with a lot of customizations and features. Is there any guide of some sort that helps anyone understands what the colors available for which elements while customizing a theme in the admin CP? In Forum application, Base text color is applied on Author name (By admin). In Gallery application, Light text color is applied on Author name (By admin). Color applied on both application is different for the same type of elements, does anyone know the reason behind this?
