Truncate text in IE and Chrome work differently

In one of IP pages database in listing view, im truncating the company description text to 3 lines, but in IE (edge) it shows only 2 lines whereas in chrome it shows 3 lines.

Any reason for this and how to fix this browser compatibility issue?
