Currently in the 3.2 Mod CP, when you go into 'Unapproved Content' you are given a long list of content which has been unapproved with a button next to each saying Delete / Approve, as shown below: It would be nice if, when on that screen, there were tick boxes running down the side (like you would find in the Forum index or Posts), with a dropdown menu at the bottom with options as to what to do with all of the topics. This saves the constant backward and forth steps to manage unapproved content. Inside the topic view move the "go to first unread post" inside or right after the page numbering. I think it would just make more sense on the left side next to the page navigation instead of next to "reply to this topic"

When adding a friend by default IPB has it set up to automatically approve you as a friend. Example: Member A requests to be friends with Member B, Member A will be approved without Members B confirmation/acceptance. This can be trouble some because then you will have certain people who will just start adding members/staff just to have a big "friends" count (I've seen this happen quiet a bit). This can easily be fixed by changing the default setting to having Member B confirm before Member A is added. I am aware that there is an option for this in the ACP but many member don't change this until this has already occur to them.

Not sure what the stars are for and why they are on the top of the text. These would probably fit better under the two lines instead of on top. What are those stars in a private calendar for by the way? EDIT: I was trying to attach a png but apparently the upload failed or is turned off

For some reason the smiley navigation is terribly slow in 3.2 I'd assumed that once all the smileys were cached, that I'd be able to flip left/right at virtually instant speed, but the board seems to load each itteration regardless of which direction I navigate in and how few/many of them I've prevously loaded. Also, if I click quickly on the side navigation arrows it stops working altogether. Just wanted to give feedback in case this is a common problem people are experiencing, or whether it is (as yet) and unfinished part of the project. :) Cheers, Shaun :D

(I ran a search for this, but could only find a topic about moving these settings to skinning -- sorry if this has been discussed a billion times and I'm just thick!) One of my favourite mods is the one that colours usernames across the board. I love the way it looks, and it makes it really easy for our users to see what sort of member has responded to their topic. We've got it set so that the usergroups are coloured via CSS, so that it doesn't matter whether we have multiple skins and such, but I'm wondering why it isn't a default option of IP.Board to colour usernames outside of the Online Users and Topic View. Being able to have that choice would be fantastic. And …

Hi, I'm testing out IPB 3.2 and I see that member title was a bit overlooked. At this time when you go to System Settings > Members > User Profiles There is a setting "Number of posts a member must have before allowing them to change their member title". I would like to suggest to add a new setting where you can select groups which can set their member title without collecting a set number of posts. Like for example for VIPs. If member is in VIP group - he can set his member title even if he has 0 posts.

Could you improve the search results for 'furl'? I spent a few minutes trying to find where to update the furl templates, The only thing returned by 'furl' right now is one setting (although there are a few other settings that should be shown too).

I just noticed that clicking the view new content only shows NEXT and PREVIOUS for pagination. Is this intended? If you have 200 pages to go through you only see NEXT to move to the next page? What is the reason to have removed the pagination? just wondering...

If you select "not a full day event" you get the option to insert a time. Would be nice if that was validated with a simple red box to green? Or perhaps a cross to tick? If the values aren't correct in the date or time box then you get an error page. When you go back to correct, all the data you put in is lost, unless you remembered to copy the post data! I think this would provide a more fluid experience if you filled in bad data into either box by accident. Examples below :- Wrong time Correct time

I know many people think that fluid skins are "cool" but for design and layout purposes, they are generally a PITA (IMO). Will there be a fixed style? Puhlease? And maybe have it use a modern CSS system like grid 960? Don't get me wrong, the default fluid style is quite good, but there are lots of little things in the CSS that would be much better if it were standardized. My wife Susan is actually the designer side of the house for our team, hopefully I can get her to login on this account to comment as she's unable to post her opinions under her own account (apparently mine is the "customer" account). Hi, This has been overlooked in IPB 3,0 also been overlooked in 3,1 and as far as I see I get the impression that this is overlooked in 3,2 as well. As of now the only way to see how gave you reputation and FOR WHICH POST you have to rely on 3rd party mods which are far from perfect and flexible. Please IPS do you think I'm satisfied enough just by looking at my overall reputation score in profile? No I'm not. I need a tab just like topics, posts, blog, gallery, files, profile feed etc. with a table of posts which were repped by other members. Great job on 3.2's ACP. The gradients and borders add a nice touch. The colors are beautiful too though it will take time to acclimatize to the purple/pink color scheme (I would have preferred a shade of gray, blue, or green). My only complaint is the 1 column setup. I personally would prefer a 2 column setup or at least the option to switch to a 2 column ACP layout just like the 3.1 layout. The reason is because of the fluid layout, the ACP looks incredibly large on a 1080p fullscreen.

As a contributor, I would really appreciate being able to edit my own files inside the marketplace even without an active license. I want to be able tp update some links, and upload new versions of some of my files, but I cannot because I don't hold an active license for IP. Board. Can this be re-thought a bit to make it easier for me to support my modifications?

I think the Profile Tabs such as Blog, Gallery, Files should not appear if there is nothing to show in them. (The user has no blog posts, gallery albums or files uploaded for example)

The new Red color makes me anxious since it really doesn't go that well with the blue theme. Maybe it is just my monitor showing off color, but I'll be changing this to the green used in the main forum skin to see if the theme is "less angry" (or some other shade of green).

I know there's been previous discussion about how best to separate subforum titles on the index page to aid readibility, but, are, commas, the, best, solution,? What was so wrong with the little image files in 3.1? They can also have different colours to indicate whether or not the subforums have unread content. Don't tell me they've been deemed to be "clutter"? Striving for a "clean skin" is all very well and good but it appears as if this is being taken a litle too far in places.

Hi, when you go into deleted content now the tab "Topics" are selected by default. To my knowledge it's a lot more common to delete posts rather than topics, so I think it would make much more sense to have the default tab be posts instead of topics. I would prefer a hybrid view of course, but even just changing it to have the default tab to be "posts" would be a lot better in my opinion.

Any chance of this being changed? It seems illogical that after reading a forum in its entirity - it is marked as UNREAD on the homepage if one of its sub-forums has unread items. I've reported it as a bug, but it has been marked as WAI. Surely that's just plain wrong - the forum is READ - completely - no unread items whatsoever - completed free of items, posts or topics that I have not read or marked as read - so why? why? why mark it as UNREAD? Please re-consider this and show it as read on the homepage if it is completely read - regardless of the state of any sub-forums. Thanks, Shaun :D

This is something really boring and extremely repetitive. Every time we install a hook, we have to navigate to Edit Settings, click thousands times until you get the settings for the specific hook. It gets worst if you have several hooks installed. One simple thing would be to add HOOK SETTINGS in Manage Hooks, right here: The idea is to centralize everything in one area, save time! Please consider this! :thumbsup:

So I decided to upgrade 3.1.4 to 3.2. Got a bunch of white pages because of incompatible hooks, that's fine. I went to go disable the hooks but um..the disable option wasn't there. Turns out i have to click a button to disable the hooks except...the disable button looks like a delete button which can get a little confusing don't you think?

Hi, I really like the new sleek design of 3.2, however couple of suggestions. I know these can be customized, but it would be great if implemented in the original 3.2 skin 1. Footer on front page seems off color, in white. Now days most modern websites try to have a good looking footer, the 3.1 version footer looked great, so I request you to strike a balance between 3.1 and 3.2 with regards to footer. 2. A general suggestion, if possible, please slightly vary the color between alternating topics, it would be easy on eyes to go through topics. Regards.
