XiuzSu Posted June 10, 2011 Share Posted June 10, 2011 When adding a friend by default IPB has it set up to automatically approve you as a friend. Example: Member A requests to be friends with Member B, Member A will be approved without Members B confirmation/acceptance. This can be trouble some because then you will have certain people who will just start adding members/staff just to have a big "friends" count (I've seen this happen quiet a bit). This can easily be fixed by changing the default setting to having Member B confirm before Member A is added. I am aware that there is an option for this in the ACP but many member don't change this until this has already occur to them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
