Just want to see what minority of customers or users think about statistics (block) or track on 3.2 board!

Hi, This is not a criticism. 35 hours ago I asked for a 3.2.0 upgrade (request ID 751060). I wrote in the message that I already accept the disclaimer since it can save time for both of us. I got a response 11 hours after my ticket that couldn't just accept the disclaimer in such a way but had to accept his response which included the disclaimer. If a user is requesting a ticket for upgrade let him accept or dismiss the disclaimer when he sends his massage. It's like registering on a forum and between the page where you choose your username and where you accept the rules you have to wait 10 hours. It's now been 22 hours since my reply where I accepted the disclaimer.…

Hello everyone, am I the only one who thinks that "null vote" should be renamed and the function should be working differently? If you look here, for example: It currently, at the time of this post, says: Now, 32 Member(s) have cast votes... wait? 16+12+1 is 29! So obviously 3 members have cast a "null vote" to see the result of the vote without voting themselves. Now, I'm all for being able to see the result, but I don't think this should be counted as a vote as it is none. Other forum-software have better solutions here, in my eyes, where you can see the results but without voting. Kind regards, Ikadon

I think it's important to save my translation copyrights.. I've translated most of IPS products to Arabic.. I usually add my rights to the client skin as a language translator.. others add these language packages to their boards and add their f**** names without right ' alt='' class='ipsImage' > ' alt='' class='ipsImage' > so it would be appreciated if IPS add a language string as a translation copyright some thing like:

First, I just want to say thank you IPS for what you do. 3.2 is a huge success, and I honestly can't find one flaw in it. My members love it, and my staff members love it. The look and design is beyond amazing, not to mention how amazing the features are. Second, I just want to say that the Auto-Installer works wonders. The second I found out that 3.2 came out, I went in and used it. Once I ran the upgrader, everything went smooth and perfect. What impresses me even more is the Installer said it would take 30 minutes, but in fact, it only took 10 minutes. I have been waiting for this version for so long, and once and for all, I have it. Thank you, Invision Power Serv…

While arguing with Matt in that one thread about something or another I realized something. Through posting for a good half hour or more I not once had to refresh the page or click back to the thread somehow. That was actually pretty cool I thought. Nicely done. (=

Dear community, dear IPS, first of all I want to explain something: The following represents my opinion . It is neither ''right'', nor ''wrong'', it is an opinion, one out of thousands. It's not better than any other opinion and I don't want neither to evangelize, nor to insult anyone! I loved and to some extent still love this software so I'm not trying to rage or harm anyone, I'm trying to make a point so maybe in a future version I once again can use this software. When I bought IP.Board, IP.Blog and IP.Content I did this because I wasn't happy with another software I used and I didn't want to put too much time in creating my own, but rather focus on the conten…

I am a senior lady with little or no technical knowledge but I have to take the time to commend IP for the well put together upgrade. It took me some time to adjust to the admin panel and of course there was a learning curve in designing. I am no professional but everything I do is self taught. I didn't try my hand at upgrading but I own 2 boards and both were upgraded for me in 24 hours. Members on my recipe forum really like it and have given me positive feedback. I must say IP and everyone behind it, Charles, Matt and all staff a job well done, thought out for the little person like me with no technical knowledge whatsoever and the expertise. We all have something we…

Looking in this forum, the majority of posts lately seem to be problem-oriented (along with some posts that IMHO belong more in tech support than feedback?). But I wanted to start a thread to express, once again, how awesome a job Invision has done on their recent generational upgrade of, well, everything. Add to this an upgrade mySQL error that crippled my board and had me worried about not being able to complete the upgrade. Now, my forums are small, mostly personal and very slow these days, so I thought I'd get shoved to the back of the line while more high-profile clients were taken care of in what is undoubtedly a busy time for Invision staff. But sure enough, w…

It would be cool if we could use commands, for example: /help There's one more very helpful command, and probably the one you'll use a lot when first starting out. Type /help, you'll see the the mIRC Help Menu open up. You can do a search from there, or you can type /help topic. Either way, a TON of information at your fingertips. Example: /help Basic Commands /ignore Unfortunately, there will be times when you don't want to talk to someone, or else someone may be harassing you. By typing /ignore nickname 3, you will not receive anymore messages from that person. Example: /ignore luv2quilt 3 To Unignore them, type /ignore -r luv2quilt 3 What it looks like: **…

I think you guys should make a paid service section where individual people can post what they need help on and how much they are willing to pay for that service to be done.

I don't who this is affecting but it appears that some IPS "Active Customers" are finding their accounts being modified to just "Members" only status with no access to the support forums or the Resources website. Does anyone know what's going on and why there was no explanation?

I have a request on behalf of my forum users; Make it easier to go to the latest post in a forum section (from the board index), maybe by adding an arrow or icon to take you to the latest post.

Hello, My name is Omri and I've purchased my license about six years ago, even though I've been using Invision Power Board/IP.Board for much longer. at the time the Lifetime licenses were no longer available, so I went for the next best thing - the Perpetual license. when I purchased the license it was said that, as the name implies, it is perpetual. could have purchased the cheaper license, but no, I loved this system (I still do) enough to "commit". it was obvious though that the support, if needed, should be renewed yearly. so it did happen and I needed support, so I renewed it several times. these days, I honestly think I need no support (not pretending to be an expe…

I just installed it in our backup site, the only thing that I can say that I liked is the update itself, it did not contain errors. Other than that, this is a completely useless upgrade that raises questions as to why I did buy IPB I've spent a lot of time in setting up our site to use the code. Had I've been so foolish as to update the main site, I would be left with a broken web site. First : the theme is no longer compatible, as you can imagine - a theme is not free, it represents a significant investment in money or in my case, a couple of months of hard work, and it is not 1 theme, but one for IPB Dowloads and 1 for IPB Blog and themes for other add ons we …

To the IPS staff and community who gave a tremendous contribution during the beta stages, congratulations on the official 3.2.0 release and may our members enjoy even more the benefits of the new software! To all those who are reading this and have their licences expired or simply contemplating if they should give IPB a try, my recomendation is straight forward: get it, you won't be dissapointed! Over & Out!

It may be useful to have a category in tracker on here for third party apps and then have the authors automatically subscribed and permissions to manage their own apps' subs. Not sure if it's more trouble than it's worth or not, but figured I would suggest anyway. I guess it would then end up with a ton of subcategories is the main problem.

First, I would like to take this time and say how impressed I've been with the new version. While there have been missteps by removing some features like the Avatar system, and with the exception of some serious hiccups, the new version is much cleaner than IPB3.1. Second, I'm getting some positive feedback from the members of my community. While some of them are taking awhile to get used to the new software, the general impressions have been positive. Some members have even said how much they like the clean feel of the new software. While feedback is still coming in, I just thought I'd relay this to the development team.

.. or not so quick navigation, is this here to stay? It's in a less noticeable place than the old forum jump was, which was also much quicker to use to jump from one forum to the other. There still isn't a forum home link included on the navigation included which I use literally every time I get to the bottom of a thread. I know there is a breadcrumb thingy included at the footer and I know quick navigation looks nicer, but it doesn't work as well and I'm sure most forum users would prefer the dropdown menu.

When I first time hit My Content it take lot of time. about 30 seconds. Yes, maybe there are some server or internet issues, I would agree with this when it happened once, but everytime when I come on board and hit My Content I have to wait abou 30 seconds to load. It's too long, isn't it?

I think adding a Team leader(s) option to groups would be a nice addition to IPB. Add remove users without the pain of contacting an admin and such :)
