Is there any chance we can have comments on reviews? I know it may seem like comments on comments, but it could make sense in the case of Commerce and Downloads. User story (just for @Mark ): Bob releases a file / store item, Sandra leaves a 3 star review which states they're not happy with the product / service provided. Bob wants to improve that 3 star review to a 5 star review, but Sandra has disabled PM's. Bob doesn't have Sandra's email address and no way to contact Sandra. Bob leaves a comment on Sandra's review to see how he can 'fix' the issue to lead to customer satisfaction.

just leaving this here to hopefully have the core system be consistent in paths for uploads. The system generated these directories, the monthly_MM_YYYY is the old style of file naming and still being used. The system also generated monthly_YYYY_MM and oddly it seems this is some 'cache' file because its a mixed bag of different files (attachments user photos etc - even attachments from support system ) Ideally i would like to see /uploads/attachments/2015/04/filename.png.ee3eff6e776c6c9904670a04959d7537 its not really necessary to have "monthly" in the directory path.

When the registration email is sent, it would also be good to include method of registration (i.e. Tapatalk, Facebook, etc…). On the notification, it would also be good to be able to set the admin notify to events such as waiting for admin approval only. At the moment it sends on all registration events.

So I just upgraded my test board and it seems to be fine for now except one thing. I am logged in fine. However, if I try to login as a regular member(under a test account), it redirects me back to my actual main board instead(which is on 3.X still). Why is this and how exactly do I fix this? In fact none of the links work when you click on forum or threads...they all redirect back to the 3.x board saying there was an error.

tl;dr - The simple Origin Pull / image/JS/URLs option from IPB3 has been lost and it's very "hacky" to emulate in IPB4 - The new Amazon S3 storage type is only being used for simple storage rather than CDN - it needs a URL option to work as CDN. I've just read the most recent post in a lengthy topic on another forum. It seemed really good but it was part of an ongoing story for that member and his life and I didn't have all the context. Much as I wanted to read everything he's written in order to get the backstory, I didn't feel like Ctrl+F-ing through dozens of his pages in that thread just to see whether he'd made a contribution on a particular page. Might it not be worthwhile to incorporate some sort of functionality in a post or in search results to show all of the posts that "this member" has made in "this thread"?

I've previously run photography forums on which we loved to host our own galleries, but this presented a problem around storage cost when there are already cheap and free storage solutions available. Similar to the request around putting YouTube videos in the gallery, I'd like the ability to make use of some of the available third party photo storage services already available. We can embedded Facebook Posts and Images, but not videos. So I am getting this error A LOT. It's mostly when I initially visit my forum. It'll take about 10 seconds or so to load and then that error will pop up. Of course once I refresh it'll load normally as well. However, my users have also reported seeing this quite a bit as well just from randomly browsing and it pops up for them when they browse forums or threads. The browser tab says "A configuration or Server error has occurred" and this is what it looks like Any help would be appreciated!

This is really a request to the Invision team, could you add an additional theme for the membership (clients only, everyone, how ever you feel really) that allows it to be the default theme (not grid) but make it fluid to about 90% / 95% I use an iMac 27 inch and I personally much prefer it to be full width rather than lots of dead space. I don't see it would do any harm by doing this in 4.0 and it just gives the users a choice. Many Thanks

@Matt asked me to post this to Feedback in ticket 911872. What I want to do is to display different sidebars in articles.html and in article view page. The reason for this is that I want to have the "Latest Articles" widget in article view (to drive more traffic to other articles if a user, for example, landed on article view from a social media link), however, it doesn't make sense to display that widget on articles.html since it already lists all the recent articles. This is currently not possible because those two are technically the same "Page".

When hiding a post within the forum, it is still visible to moderators and admin but full post, this really should be collapsed so that the contents are not visible. Now that we have went live, this is one of the things that the staff are highlighting amongst others.

Thanks IPS for letting us kick the tires on the new chat. Observations and concerns. Chat window should be full height of the window and resize with the browser. (too short)ads should not interfere with the chat - if the chat window include the global ad locations that would make the chat even more squeezed. For galleries and databases would really like this: Show the member's rating stars given in the member's comment. Y/NIf set to Yes, then also: Must leave comment to rate. Y/NThese are good for review style content, like our databases and the Gallery for photo reviews. Showing the rating. And also the ability to force them to comment to rate, so the rating cannot be anonymous. These are common on review type sites and would be great enhancements to Gallery and Pages. Thanks!

We can choose one or all in New Content. It would be great if we could multi-select. I could select Topics and Bugs, as I have no use for Gallery or Files, in NC. Thanks!

Would be best if the login handlers (like FB) were relocated to the top of the web login. You have to scroll down to see them and many people arent scrolling down.
