Hello. It would be desirable to implement the ability to add additional fields to the forms of writing reviews for reviews: Also, additional fields are rather limited functionality. For example, I would like to add a form of choice of options users, as in the screenshot: But this form can not be implemented in the page, which is a pity. Not even add vote. Is it possible to add such features in the Pages application? @Matt ?

I don't see how Likes have to anything to do with a member's reputation. On 3.4 I changed the language to Likes so it is an overall count box and not a Reputation score. I will do this on 4 as well. People use the Like button to acknowledge a post. Even if it is someone reporting something bad, they "Like" it to acknowledge it. Or if they like the content, but not the member posting. This has nothing to do with a member's reputation. The only option is Like and nothing to signify if the person was helpful, or if the post was informative, or to the contrary, not informative, or trolling. dramatic. etc. Has there been any discussion of calculating reputation a different way…

I guess it can happen to anyone one day. I was deleting some topics today and I marked one too many. Oooops! I deleted one important topic. I wasn't worrying too much because I was counting on going to ModCP and undelete. That how it worked in 3.4 version. Unless I'm missing something there is no such option neither in ModCP or ACP. I can see deleted topic in Mod log but that's about it. I can't do anything else. If I'm correct and there is no such function I'd like to ask why or better yet why it was removed? I believe it's a huge miss.

This may be personal but a personal status (like before... and I hate to use that term) should not export to other apps. If I send a status that is meant for someone like @AndyF it shouldn't show in my twitter or facebook feed. Only general/new status messages should.

I really respect IPS4 for all the hard work they do on this software and I try my best not to post angry messages every time I upgrade and plenty of things break but this is unbelievable. After upgrading to 4.0.10, users are not able to open long personal messages and get an EX error. Support response? "Very long PM conversations is not something to product was originally designed to do. We will look into it in a future release but for now please just advise users to start a new conversation." I couldn't believe this response was even real. Somehow long personal messages weren't a problem in any release prior to 4.0.10, and suddenly, the software is not designed for long …

(Calendar appears to be missing from the list of available Tags btw) The Calendar's Featured Events facility looks great. I'd like them to have a button like the blue Calendar Name button but for View Event. Currently it isn't obvious where the press using a tablet (or to click on). My first natural instinct is always to press on the actual image, perhaps that should take you to the actual Event too, as currently although you don't realise it, you have to press or click on the name of the event. Is it possible to add these to Pages? They'd look great as a Widget on my home page. Many thanks.

In IPS4, all of the bulk select options have gone, so you can no longer delete all of your spammer member accounts in one go. If you click on Spammers and then delete, without realising it you are taken back to the All members view, so you have to be careful you don't delete a genuine member by mistake, assuming its the next Spammer on the list. I think this could probably be improved, but it was useful and convenient to tick several spammer accounts and delete them without having to go 1 by 1.

After updating to v4 (lovely btw!) we find one element highly illogical. Why are these elements placed INSIDE the user's posting? It would make far more sense to place them below the whole post as they now look like they are added by the user. Is this something that could be tweaked?

I would like to suggest that IPS consider adding anonymous posting included in IPB, while building IPB4. This should not be confused with guest posting. Users should still be able to be moderated, and at least administrators be able to know who posted the topic, just in case of a troll etc. I would like to see something like this built into IPB: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Just a little more user friendly. The reason being, sometimes people want to talk about things that embarrass them or whatever, and I think having an option to post or reply anonymously would give users more comfort in talking about things that are embarrassing, etc, a…

Here is what I want to do. as a person is purchasing a membership I want to offer them an additional product. If they purchase the additional product they will then be offered another product. It must work in that order. First buy membership, then be offered item 2 ... then be offered item 3 ... and so on Is this possible to do in the current product? Is there any plan to add this functionality?

Hi! I think you could add this feature in the announcement management. An administrator can set to show announcement only to guests or to a specific group of users. I see is possible to choose the forum but not member group. This way you can create different announcement and disable them for registered users Thanks Bye

One of the really great features in 4.x is that you can paste a link to any content from within the community to any post and it will create a nifty preview thingy automatically like this: That's really cool. Unfortunately it does not work for Gallery and Download Categories. I find this to be an issue as both gallery and download categories can list items that one might like to share within an article. I'm subscribed to Release Notes with online notification and Coming Soon was updated and bumped and I did not get the notification. Wait, is that because it was an edit? There seems to be a conflict there then. We will never be notified of additions to that section.

I click all these notifications to see what post was Liked etc. but what if the notification used a post teaser so we didn't have to click them? Then we'd know what post they liked just from reading the list. It would save a lottttttt of time. If we weren't sure by the teaser we could click. But that would be really nice! Ex: "Member" liked your post "Great job Mike! I'm really glad..." You could add the topic title at the end but as a space saver I much prefer the post teaser.

This is a great idea that just popped into my head I think many people will like this mod/add-on Its to allow for a banner for each forums and sub-forum. Meaning you click on a forum/sub-forum and it will take you to threadbit. and on that threabit will be the banner. it can be just a static banner (just an image) or it can hyperlink we can also change the size (length and width/height) -- this is important And have the option to hyperlink it meaning the banner can have a link in it which can redirect it to somewhere else isn't this a great idea??!! If a mod/add-on like this is made I will definitely buy it like so

I brought up the very same issue long time with 3.x version. Let's say I create two topic prefixes: [Active] [Inactive] Initially I mark some topic as [Active]. If then I want to mark it as [Inactive] I'd expect just to see [Inactive] prefix replacing [Active] prefix. But no. What I got is double prefix [Inactive][Active]. Makes no sense.

Hello guys, as far as I could research in the ACP, IPS4 won't let child forums take parant forums permission and moderators automatically. In have a Bigboard with more than 600 forums. I converted my forum from vBulletin3 to IPS4 now. In vBulletin3, you had this checkbox option in the forum settings "apply user/moderator permissions to child forums" and in also the checkbox option "overwrite parent forum permissions". I already using groups instead of members for adding moderator permissions, but after i assigned all forums to a group, i also need to assign a forum to this group after I created a new forum. Product improvement for the Pages menu would be able to Manage Apps. In the 3.4 version of Pages (IP.Content) you could manage all menu items through the "Custom" menu options. In the 4.0 version you are not able to do this, you can only create a "URL" to the applications or use the default tab. I request that the functionality to manage the tabs come back! In IPBoard3 we had the option to enable Postnumbers like this is post #1 the answere is #2 ... etc. this made it easy for others to refere to other posts like "hey see #13 for the answere" is this feature still available?

A lot of my users use the VNC along with topics and filtered forums so that they don't have to wade through forums that they aren't interested in: This works fine, and it even remembers the selection when you go back in or even use a different browser. However, if you click on All New Content/Files/Articles and then go back to Topics your forum selection is lost. As the selection survives across browsers I guess it's being stored in the DB somewhere so could we please have the filtered forums list remembered when changes types unless they are manually cleared?

When on IOS in a forum or on a computer with the screen small mobile device the "Start New Topic" button is at the bottom of the screen. That button should be at the top (and bottom) when responsive. Just Like the Start New Topic Button when looking at the forum index.

I was going to reply to the first thread that was made on this but it was closed for some reason. Forgive me for my lack of diplomacy but I'm a little pissed, to be honest. I just added 350 images into a gallery in bulk (took 2 mins to do) and my post count or content count, whatever, increased by number of images uploaded. When you guys had your meeting to discuss IPS4, how the did the dummy who suggested this not get fired and thrown out on the streets? I also read in the other thread that you can't accommodate a narrow market of people who are looking for a forum software with forum post counts, or something to that effect? I gotta call B.S. on that. I'll bet that 90% …
