I've experienced some weird s@@t going on here today, anyone else? This morning I couldn't reply to a support ticket, the page after submitting kept loading for about 4 minutes. I'd typed a thorough response with positioned screenshot attachments and didn't want to lose it. Eventually I managed to copy and paste the text from the editor into an email and reply without the screenshots, butbwhen I checked, there were 3 responses on my ticket that had gone through. This evening I voted in a poll (on that lengthy topic about post numbers) and suddenly it popped this! That's a new one on me! Then when viewing another topic, this weird error message showed under the edito…

Hi, Is there any plan to implement something like this? I have found many people wanting this and I also want it badly. Does not need to be complex, only to hide the username if the users says anonymus and let the moderators see who said it. Thank you! Regards, Nils

This occurs when a user posts a reply immediately after they already replied. I may of missed this setting somewhere to shut it off or change a time limit? If not, can we look into having these options? Thank You

I would like to ask the IPB management to restore the But Tracker to allow it be viewed by the public. I read that posting was the concern which I don't care much for, but viewing it is something I do have a concern I have. Other than following the Feature Release Notes I also use Bug Tracker to gauge on how IPB is developing and progress for the Community Suite. Now others may say this is not the right way to judge on how things are moving forward it just my way if how I see things are moving forward. Now the main reason for this is, I don't have an active license yet due to the fact that I don't believe the Community Suite is strong yet for my community for me to upgrad…

Hello, Today a member from my forum tried to change his avatar, it was OK except the part with cropping it. He cannot use his avatar at "full-size", give us the option to crop or not the avatar. Hi's photo is below.

If moved to sidebar it doesn't display this: I originally posted it as a bug: https://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/active-reports/whos-online-r7014/#comment-161020 but Andy advised me to create new topic here.

Hi, We have ability to configure products that must be linked to other products, that is awesome. Comparing to 3.4.x the 4.x.x is allowing to view child products without having parent one purchased or in cart -> that is good advantage! However, when having no parent product purchased or at least in cart when we will go to child product page we will have no button to purchase it (because we have no parent product) - would be good to add information or display all available parent products for the child product we are viewing, so Customer may know what is going on and instead searching will go straight to one of products that should be purchased first (parent products) …

I'd assume that while selecting which forums should be displayed in the above feeds we want to select most forums except for a few, like private/hidden forums. If so it would require much less clicking if the editing option was to select forums we DO NOT want to display instead of those we want to display. With current option those forums take a whole height of my monitor screen...lol

Although most of the bells and whistles are kind of right in your face, there are some features that you aren't using. I can't think of them all but one near and dear to our community site is the use of sidebars. Why not add a who's online right sidebar to say ... a particular forum, or topics in a particular forum ... like client lounge? And at the same time, here's a shoutout to everyone else to add ideas of showing the "goods" in other ways around the ips site. I know that IPS does that on the forum index page but because it is the forum index page, and everyone is accustomed to seeing the sidebar items on that particular page, that's my reasoning for mixing it up a…

Loving IP.Board 4 so far. Only issue is we like to see the exact timestamp for some posts on our forum, but now it shows "17 hours ago" instead of an exact time. Anyway to change that? Even if it said "17 hours and 32 minutes ago" that would be great. Thanks

Hi, I finally got enough courage to start playing around with some new things in IPB & I activated Twitter for Login. I noticed a few bugs & I am sorry if you already know about them, I also thought about some improvements. 1. When you connect your account in the profile settings & allow it to grab your photo & banner... It grabs a really low quality Display photo & Instead of grabbing my banner, it grabbed my twitter background. 2. When you allow it to grab your latest status updates & post them as status updates on the forum, it would be nice if it ignored tweets starting with @. At the moment it grabs tweets directed towards people & th…

Hi. I was unable to access to bug tracker, so I decided to post the issue I am having here. I own expired IPB license, so I am aware of how it works (the way you no longer get support after your support term is expired). Note that I am not using nulled (cracked) software, I've obtained a copy of IPB 4 from my colleagues. The issue on Invision Power Board 4.0.9.2 (haven't upgraded yet..) is once you add SSL to your site & change the url, the images, JS scripts, and other elements are streamed from HTTP even though in NGINX (webserver) I've configured in a way that it would force the http request to 301 redirect to https request. The way to reproduce is to run upgrade. …

Hello, so i tested IPS 4 (4.0.8.1) in the last week with a large database of almost 6 GB of data (self hosted dual xeon at 2,5 ghz so 8 physical cores, 8 gb ddr2, raid1 software on two old 250 GB hdd) and overall i am pretty dissapointed. I expected more visible performance after all this time while IPS4 was developed but unfortunately not for me. So Debian 8 with mariadb 10.0.16, nginx 1.6.2 and php5-fpm (5.6.9) with apcu. The ACP is a mess. I know it's supposed to be simplified and bla bla easier, bla bla but for a 3.4.8 customer it is very hard to find the usual settings AGAIN. Probably for a new customer would be okay but for me.. oh my god..Is the Search Admin CP aut…

Hi, in the Forums (and IP.Pages), we are able to override Themes in categories - thats a great Thing. This should be added to Gallery (and perhaps also Downloads, so it's available in all apps ) Thanks...

I can't seem to find out why I would have a blank option above 0 Children, when the ACP view shows only 3 options?

Am still struggling with slow queries on my site that the slowquery log says are from the ActiveRecordIterator (4-5 seconds) and vnc (16+ seconds) calls on looking at these queries I see the vnc/ActiveRecordIterator topic query returns stuff like last posters signatures, fb ids, twitter info etc etc 262 fields x 25 ? surely it has to mean quicker results if the results are trimmed down to just essentials for the vnc feature results? what am i missing here ?

Lets make a following few points clear first: No I am not happy with 3.1.4, especially with the Gallery as buggy as it is. I do like the look and feel of 3.2.0 and there is alot I am happy about with it. There are however alot I am not happy about with 3.2.0 I don't like the fact that Avatars are a fixed size. I don't so much mind having to share Profile Photos and Avatars together. I can understand that, and I accept that, that is what IPS wanted to do. HOWEVER I do believe the use should of have the option for it. (Option to move to the new system, keep the old one, etc) I probably would of stayed with the old one to be honest, but that's just me. I cannot speak for e…

Constructive feedback: If forums containing 'moved to' topic links are going to count the read status of said topics in an entirely different forum, please differentiate between read and unread 'moved to' topic links. Such links always appear read, which would be fine, except they actually affect the read status of the forum they are in. Even just fading out the read or bolding the unread moved to links would help a lot. Right now it is fairly confusing. Thanks for reading.
