Ok, so i posted this in the forums to get my answer So my idea, or suggestion is for IPS to put in a future version to allow members on our server to be able to use account credit/balance for auto renewals Even if it "is" for that purpose, i think that members should still have the choice if they want to save their commission/credit or to use it on auto renewals

Currently in calendar events the order is first REVIEWS and then COMMENTS. Support told me that this needs customization in order to change order because there is no way to do that otherwise as is. I would like to ask to be able to order that under any circumstance. Same goes to Downloads etc. Any other opinions?

Why is the language not selected based upon browser settings, this is nothing new its all ready a few years old. When you select language based upon browser settings you can do fun stuff like Articles in different languages and only show what is available or show everything but where the settings show native language first. This can be used for articles, download, gallery and blogs you only need to provide additional fields where you can put in the translation so the system knows what language it is.

I feel reactions are backward. When you order them in the ACP the first thing shows up as the default icon however the next icon is the furthest away from the default icon. So my second icon is "agree" however with the way it shows up it is the last thing in the list (going from right to left). I think unless the icon moves to the left and comes out of the right of the default icon I believe this is wrong. Basically to make this more clear. The closest icon to the default should be the second thing in the list not the last thing in the list. It should be one of the quickest things to get to. That's the point of ordering them. Can we have the option of changing the default sorting option by "Date" in Question & Answer type forum posts? Right now, the posts are sorted in descending order in order to bring the up voted posts to the top and down voted posts to the bottom. While this is a good method to help people find the best answer without having to read the entire thread, I think it disrupts the flow of the conversation. Therefore if we can have the option of changing the sort option from Admin panel it would be great for those who want to have Vote up/down as well as sort by post date. Cheers!

Add a filter to the support tickets screen so that I can filter out "Resolved" tickets. Once a ticket is resolved, I usually don't care to see it again unless the issue comes up again at some point in the future. It would be nice if the resolved tickets were hidden by default, but I could click something to show them if/when needed.

I find commerce to be a useful, but frustrating application. it has a ton of potential just waiting to be baked into it, but is weak in so many spots, that i don't even know where to start. so this topic is two fold, i would like to hear what future plans IPS has for it before i start modifications of it, and i would like to also hear what others would like it be capable of. what i'd like to see: adding items from the front end more widgets (like top selling products, new products, etc) integration with a hosting API like digitalocean, digitalocean has a pretty clean API. digital goods (you can still make downloads required, but allow the prod…

Let me edit the Title of support tickets. For example, if Invision tells me that a particular issue will be fixed in upcoming release 4.2.5, it would be nice if i could update the Title to say "Fixed in 4.2.5". That way, when we upgrade boards versions, it would be easy to find/verify the tickets/issue that were supposed to be fixed in that version. Currently, I'm forced to look through a huge list of tickets and find/remember which ones relate to which version upgrades.

Once I enter a support ticket, there's no way for me to see whether I entered it as an outage, a normal ticket, or a low urgency ticket. This causes problems sometimes. For example, sometimes we're having an outage and I enter a support ticket for it, and if i don't get an immediate response I start to wonder if I accidentally entered it as a normal ticket instead. It would be nice to be able to see (and ideally edit) this value.

In Downloads there is a Change author to change the name of the submitter but in Calendar not. I believe that it should be standard to change author ability into all content ie topics, posts, files, calendar events, pages (I don;t use them yet), etc.

Wouldn't it be nicer and quicker for someone who reads COMMENTS section under a file/calendar event be able with one click to see (or go to) a members REVIEW if available? Right now I have to scan through REVIEWS to find a specific review and then go to COMMENTS section to see this members' comments, and visa versa. Opinions?

Just reporting that the API's response chokes when I have a quotation mark in the name of a forum, for the GET /forums/topics method. An example error being reported by the Perl script I wrote to call the API and process the response is: The script died with: , or } expected while parsing object/hash, at character offset 332 (before "Forums")",\n ...") at /home/www/scripts/message_digest/DigestTopics.pm line 84. This has been bugging me for a few days, as I've seen a number of posts where @Joe Bloggs appear and wondered why the poster has chosen not to actually use the mention functionality. Well, having just been mentioned in a post and received a notification: I can't actually see a mention in the post but I do see @Nathan Explosion entered there. Hi, For the Clubs map, that would be great if it was auto-centered and auto-zoomed on the existing pins. For instance, instead of having this: … the map would be by default: Much easier to read, and that would avoid a few clicks. I think it's just a parameter to set on the Google Map API. Thanks!

When a card is already stored, it should be selected by default when a new purchase is made. Its less confusing, and fewer clicks = more purchases. Instead, neither option is selected by default and it is rather confusing.

Since the upgrade to 4.2.2, I have had issues with embedding Twitter links on the forum and different browsers give different results and issues. Firefox will display the tweet, but when pasting the Twitter link into CK Editor, you have to press enter before the Tweet will display. Google Chrome and Opera on paste will not convert the link to the Tweet and stay as a link only. Firefox and Opera will display a embedded Tweet, but Google Chrome does not display it correctly (CSS issue maybe?) Hi, simple suggestions on improving the UIX for Pages: Swapping the position of Immediately and Publish Date / Time I write articles in advance for my community and publish them over the week. When I tab through the record's Publish settings, the time and date do not become available until I uncheck "Immediately." As such, "Immediately" should be listed before Time & Date so I can tab through the options in sequence. Records in ACP I recently moved a dozen articles when a user recommended I create a new category. Allow batch select -- I had to move the articles one by one. Similar to how new posts can be loaded into a topic after the initial load, it would be great if edits could be loaded in later. Either a flash message like with new replies or a message like Stack Overflow has would work for this IMO. It's quite common that a user will arrive at a topic from a notification pretty quickly after the post was made, and the person who posted it has realised a mistake/etc but hasn't had a chance to edit it yet, so this would reduce the issues that this causes.

Back in 3.4, there was a very useful options, that we could create pre-defined Tags per Category/forums. almost everywhere. one specific forum or categories (Gallery, Download, IP.C) could define own tags, prefixes... Now all pre-diefined tags should be create in Posting setting and as a global configuration. it means for sites like us, with so many cat/forums we should have more than 400 tags in that section. it's not works as helpful as before. IPS 4 Tag system have very great changes compare to 3.4 but removing per-forum / per-category setting for Tags is cause a bad headache.
