Hi Invision, I can remember that in previous versions of IPS, it was possible to set the max number of emoticons in a post. In 4.x, I can't find this setting, and I'm facing an issue: the current limit is too low for some of my members. Am I blind, is there a setting somewhere in the ACP? Thank you! PS: is a customizable reputation value for reactions in the pipeline? Haha yes I know, I ask that in each of my posts

The tagging feature is a very powerful way to organize information across forums, clubs, downloads, etc. However, at the moment, a standard search from the search box does not include results from tags. While an individual's search results can include tags via advanced search, many users may not instinctively look for advanced options. Therefore, it would be wonderful to include in the search results "tags." Thank you for your consideration!

I am playing around on my friend's license Blog Application before making that hefty 75$ to see if it does what I needed. Pages would actually do what I wanted but it just doesn't let anyone to create their own journal / create entries under that sort of speak. Will there be an option to set by group who can see these blogs instead of members that you choose. If you put in private mode, but don't put any names listed, it will still save as public. If you add a person in the list, what is the option as a staff member to see if its private or not. Something like the pages / forums does have an option to turn on/off if other user can see other topics or not

I was trying to test a promotion on 4.3 Beta2 for a gallery image (Our Picks) I realised that ; The picture is not automatically added to image selections The title of the promotion can not be changed ( directly getting text from Caption) Shouldnt these both be available ?

Required functionality: https://wordpress.org/plugins/image-lazy-load/ (Loads images within the main WordPress Page, Post or Custom Post Type content when each image is visible to the site visitor. This helps reduce load times, increase site performance and reduce server bandwidth by only loading images when they're truly needed.) For the usergroup changes, why is the Recurring payment option allow you to choose if you wish to revert Primary, Secondary, or both... but with 4.3's subscriptions you only get the option to revert both or not to revert at all? Ideally wouldn't it be a good idea to have the option for both? 4.3 Subscription Manager - pre 4.3 Recurring Item -

I was wondering if the menu bar of the text editor could be fixed when scrolling so that it is always in view? It can be cumbersome when editing long documents and you have to keep scrolling to the top to edit items such as Bold or Italics, etc; this is especially, but not exclusively, noticeable in the ACP when making changes to items such as Privacy Policy, Guidelines etc. It would be great if this could be achieved and speed up writing and editing long documents. ☺️

Although someone has already translated it and sold it on the Marketplace, you can find that these translations are often incomplete and inaccurate! so, I was wondering if IPS can let a professional translation company translate your products? for example: www.sdl.com, www.stepes.com, www.gengo.com or www.todaytranslations.com…all are excellent professional translation companies! some of my colleagues used IPS under my recommendation. They all think Invision Community is great, but they suffer from not having excellent Chinese translation and Chinese search capabilities, causing them to finally give up IPS. if IPS company can solve multilingual problem…

Hello everyone! I've noticed that IPS, have always had so much white space in the source code? I suggest that the code will be optimized.This is not good for a huge premium software like IPS! The meta tags were also broken all the way till 4.3, but it's fixed. Hopefully, all that white space can also be fixed happens on all websites using IPS - unless they enable "HTML Minify" on CloudFlare. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/sOHMQ9G.png

Hi, Regarding the upper right notifications and messenger icons. When we have new notifications and new messages, there is a counter in red that shows up. However, this counter simply vanishes when we click on the icon. For instance, if we have 10 new private messages, we will see a red "10" there. When clicking on the envelope icon, this counter vanishes. I think it should keep displaying the real number of unread messages, even after we click there. Cheers.

@kmk made me aware of an open source forum platform called Flarum. It has functionality for a two pane interface which I'd love to replicate, to me, the idea of having to keep clicking in and out of threads is very clunky. It feels like they've almost solved it with their interface. Would love to have something like this within IPB.

So there was the 3rd party application, but now it's gone. What would be legit is if IPS implemented a way in Core for users to deactivate or even elect to delete their account with both approval of selected staff or even automatically with email validation. not gonna reexplain how deactivation works, as most sites already have it such as majority of Social Networks. The MP Application was something in my opinion that should have been built into core but wasn't. It would be nice to see since 4.2 is supposed to be more community feature based IIRC?

Please switch to one line location field , nobody wants to scroll through 100 countries to get to theirs and input states and everything its ridiculous. Not to mention auto fill broswers cannot populate fields you have set as drop down boxes , amazed this hasn't been addressed yet

It would be nice if there was an easy way to see if a member has ever posted, logged in, registered or shared the IP address of another member before. Although the new Device and IP lookup area in the Admin CP helped a little, I have found it doesn't help all too much most of the time. Many trolls / duplicate accounts don't show up here. Plus we have to manually look so you need to know to begin with that something is up. I have found that to isolate a troll (especially a persistent one) I need to go to Mod CP > Search Member > and then click on and view every IP address listing and then click on their posts / registrations to see if it reveals another m…

Feature request: It would be wonderful to have the ability to organize clubs into major-categories, as can be done for forums. We are building a community and I anticipate having dozens of forums and dozens of clubs ... and it would be good to organize the clubs into different types/major categories. Is this functionality planned for a future release? If yes, will we be able to easily move pre-existing clubs into categories without rebuilding them?

Imagine if you will, that I could put information from clubs onto pages and that people running clubs could potentially update pages! For instance I have a club based on a game called runescape. I also have a page based on runescape that features the latest news. But It would be cool to have a page that would be easy to find and has a community attached to it. I could have the latest topics and club content on that page!

The USD could belong to the first field and moved to a new line in the currency column, or it could belong to the second field, where it didn’t fit and then it was moved to the next line. Impossible to tell for sure. Maybe you can restyle it to make it clear. I made a guess how it was meant and got it wrong the first time.

This stream https://invisioncommunity.com/discover/unread/ is very very slow for me here in Europe. Takes at least 5-6 seconds before the page loads. Any other stream and any other page on this site has normal speed. Does anyone else experience same?

Hi! It seems like that on banned profiles there tend to be a "Latest visit" date/time that is far behind the actual last visit. In this case the user was banned at 25. February, 2018 where the last listed visit also is shown. However on the top the profile the "Last visit" date/time says "16. September, 2017" which is way way back. Am I/our visitors misunderstanding what "Latest visit" means? or is there a bug? Thanks for any help you can give! ❤️ Maya

The attachment options listed in System -> (Settings) Posting provide an admin the ability to control type of attachments that are uploaded. "Images only" restricts the uploader to the items listed in the $imageExtensions static variable....suggest the addition of a "Videos only" option that restricts the uploader to the items listed in the $videoExtensions static variable that is now available.

is it possible to get a digest version or a slightly altered look of these "copy's" of emails that the system sent out? seems odd to receive email but have it addressed to the end user and not have any "indication" that it is a "COPY" or a representation that was sent to the end user.
