In my case I've archived 80% of my forum posts, which have now vanished from the search feature. It makes sense to be able to still find this content for those who want to. I believe that adding a check box option to "Search Archived Content" makes a lot of sense.

I you archive posts and all posts by a user become archived, which is the case for this user on my forum: https://www.celiac.com/profile/41776-zoogirl/ their archived posts are missing from the "See Their Activity" view: https://www.celiac.com/profile/41776-zoogirl/content/ It says "Everything posted by zoogirl" but shows nothing. In this case only if you click on "Topics" will you see their content. https://www.celiac.com/profile/41776-zoogirl/content/?type=forums_topic&change_section=1 I believe this needs to be fixed to actually show all content when "See Their Activity" is clicked.

Though profile fields allow multiple selection of options multiple selections cannot be selected in the member search engine. For example, Profile field options: Country: America Eu Uk Etc In the member search when searching that profile field I should be able to ck both EU and UK and have the results turn up.

Right now there are only two options: Skype and Website I'm cool with sharing both, but I really don't use Skype anymore. Do people still use Skype? I don't know if others would agree, but I wish that we had the option to add our Discord which is what most people use nowadays. It might also be cool to have like profile files for social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. so we could connect/follow each other. I mean I know I can add these under About Us, but I don't think anybody is doing that right now. PS: This is in reference to these community forums. I know I can design costume profile fields on my site. Just a thought. 😋

Say a moderator warns a member for an offense they never committed, or perhaps you got drunk one night and started warning various members of your forum you didn't like for no apparent reason. (This was not a real life example, don't worry.) Or more realistically, a member appeals their ban/warning and you decide to accept their appeal. What do you do? Well, first you probably apologize to the member and scold your bad moderator if the warning held no merit. But then what? You want to revoke the warning and any action that was given to the user with the warning, right? Well, you can remove any posting restrictions or suspensions manually, but you can't really ever off…

When reporting for guests is enabled (records in the database), then only editor field is shown for report. However reporting is a wonderful thing to involve guests into project. By reporting they've already (almost) participated on the site. They have shown they are interested. At least they are someone I would like to contact back. I would inform him how I have solved his report and invite him to register. To contact back I require: Email and Name. But I have only report Please consider adding Email and Name fields to the report function for the guests. Thank you!

Hello, Maybe I'm missing something here and someone will correct me however, not sure I am wrong. It appears we can't target specific custom made pages but we can target pages that include for example a article with [data-pageID="xx"]. So for example this code below could target a article but not the article index. body[data-pageapp="cms"][data-pagelocation="front"][data-pagemodule="pages"][data-pagecontroller="page"][data-pageID="2"] If I have created a custom page named for example "mycustompage" and it's just a html page with no database I should be able to target that page specifically using the pages specific page id but I can't seem to do tha…

Announcements can be pretty useful but the function on the Invision platform is pretty limited and I'm sure it could be enlarged to give site owners more choice. Here are a few ideas: allow unlimited colour palette. I don't really understand why at the moment it is restricted only to half a dozen or so colours. Allow formatting of announcement titles for text colour, font style, font size – and also put in some graphics/emojis as required. Allow inclusion of more than one line of text in the announcement title bar. It should be possible to see the number of visits each announcement has had – viewable by designated groups I hope other …

A few suggestions... I'd like to be able to change the names that get displayed when I put multiple URL download links. Right now it's picking the file name or the name of the webpage you link and it'd be nice to have more flexibility to name the files something more understandable like Windows, Mac, etc. I'd like to be able to have the option to open download URLs in a new tab so people don't leave my site.

Hi, It's not mentioned at all in the release notes but the Stripe.php file has significant changes in the newest release. These changes totally broke stripe for me and caused me to lose a lot of payments. Just a heads up if some folks have not upgraded yet and might be impacted by this Thank you 🙂

The situation Since January 2015 new tax rules regarding electronic goods and services are in effect in the European Union. Hey all, It's been a while since I've been active on here. I'll keep this short. From a UI/UX designers perspective. I feel that with the major changes of other social platforms and even competing forum based software, the result is that IPS is behind in times. Facebook/Instagram and other major platforms are designed as a mobile first approach whereas IPS is simply "mobile friendly" My suggestion is to take an approach towards mobile first for the front-end/default theme. After upgrading my local test / dev installation (I hadn't touched it in over a year), I ran into some errors that were solved only by updating the dev files. During the upgrade process, there is a screen that asks to disable IN_DEV mode. It may be worthwhile to add a note in the footer to remind users to upgrade the dev files as well once the upgrade is complete! (Or any other notification elsewhere, for that matter)

I see this as a bug but you may say "Working as designed". I'm just putting it out there just in case it's an oversight... Regarding the Schema Comment property... IPS counts each post as a Comment. This includes the first post. The first post shouldn't be listed as a comment in Topics. I just think it's better to stay safe. I'm not sure how Google (or other bots) translates this duplication.
