It would be great to see IPS implement something like UserVoice/Feature Upvote or similar as a way for the community to discuss and vote on what matters the most to the community in terms of development. A platform like UserVoice/Feature Upvote would make it clearer what the community would like to see developed, in situations where IPS chooses not to develop an idea it would provide 3rd party developers greater clarity on more common requests leading to a healthier marketplace. When editing plug-in hook templates via tfrom the ACP, I always feel that I am editing through a letter box. The editor height is just too small and uncomfortable to work with for long period s of time. At the moment it is currently set to 300px, would it be possible that this could be doubled or the text-area made resizeable. Also, would it be possible to show line numbers by default as well or at least toggle able like the theme editor area? If this is not possible, can you show me were I can edit the Code Mirror config so I can do this myself? Also, while I am thinking about it, can you place the Text editor area above the 'Action' options. This way …

The page added for club has permissions customizable, why not add the same for others clubs features, I mean forums and others apps created inside a club. At least add it for forums in case not possible for others apps.

We have a subscription product where we occasionally provide coupons. The coupons are intended to reduce the cost of the initial term of a subscription but we don't want them used for renewals or more than once. So, we set "Can be used for renewals of selected products?" to off in the coupon configuration. However, we have found that users can use the coupon again by letting the subscription lapse, creating a new instance of the subscription, and then applying the coupon. I posted a reply to a thread, edited that post to add a very upset and vibrating Will Ferrell and provided an edit reason, and then created a new reply to quote @bfarber, a god amongst men. The result is here: Since the two replies were made within the "merge multiple replies into a single post" threshold, the two posts were merged. This resulted in the message that showed that I had edited the post along with the timestamp of the edit vanished (though it shows "edited" at the top). From a UX perspective, I recommend showing the edited by user message when posts are merged. I would understand clearing out the reason (as there's a new edit, caused by mergin…

On the new popular posts in thread bit that appears in threads, I saw something interesting marked as popular and wanted to read it in context, yet there's no obviously clickable link to take you to the post. This seems like a UX oversight. There should be a "go to post" link that takes you directly to the post in the thread that the user clicks on. Clicking all over the thing, I eventually discovered that the date of the post is what takes you to the post itself. I'd suggest something instead like an arrow at the end of the blurb.

I asked this same question a couple of years ago, and was told that it would be looked at. The issue is that the the placement of the ipsItemControls is 'messy' and not static depending on the post text. This makes the GUI unpredictable and quite frankly an mess. Would it be possible that the "ipsItemControls" could be place in an absolute position at the bottom for all posts instead of floating around in no man's land?

Currently we can “block” links (display as plain text) or have them sent for moderator review. I’d like to see an added option where the link is actually blocked/removed entirely from the content being posted, not just posted as plain text. Alternatively, instead of posting the link as plain text, we can set text to replace the link If there’s currently a plug-in/app that can do this, please let me know as this is desperately needed for us.

Needing an "Other Settings" panel in Account Settings is a bit of a red flag that maybe all of those settings-related things should be unified to make them more coherent. I see no reason for ignored users to be separate Notification settings has a slightly more complex UI, but I can't see any blockers to bringing that UI into settings, and doing so would bring it inline with other sites (GitHub, Stack Overflow, reddit, and iirc also facebook etc) Profile settings is more arguable because having it as a dialog when viewing your own profile is good, but the profile settings is also where I think the most benefit can be gained - users expect their signature…

This feature has been missing a lot in our forum and I'm sure it's missing on every forum that uses social networks to spread content. Our 2 main sources of traffic are Google and Facebook. Almost close to 50% / 50%. Google through SEO and Facebook through posting our highlights in our fanpage. In Facebook we can not post the content of the forum in our fanpage because we can not choose the featured image of the post that in facebook is configured through the og: image tag.
