Hey Guys! I just upgraded from 3 to 4 and I am killing all bugs right now. And now I just detected this one on my forums: Whenever I try to create, edit oder delete an announcement I get these error messages. As you can see, I do not have any announcement application to activate?! Thanks in advance for any help PS: My Moderation CP doesn't work too, that is why I disabled it... Reported stuff is just loading... nothing happening.. When I want to see "all reports" i get an error Okay updates: I got the announcements to work (I don't even know how... after deleting one the system seemed to work again), but everything that is being reported still shows …

I am trying to convert my phpBB 3 site, I purchased a cloud plan last night and read thru the guide. It says to submit a ticket to "Hosting" but I can't find any in support drop down. I submitted to "Account Services" but am wondering if I submitted to the wrong area. Can I run the converter prior to hearing back? I don't want to keep my site down any longer than needed.

Hey guys, is there a way to format a field depending on the actual date? I've got a date field in my database and i want to format 'expired' entries with a red badge and (if possible) entries which will expire in the next seven days with an yellow badge.

For example, you have a subforum for reviews with rating by members for a specific company. Company Reviews (Subforum) (Thread)- Company A ------ 3/5 star rating average based on submitted reviews for this company. I believe there was another topic similar to this one (didn't find it), but is there a list of template changes for each release since IPB 4? I'm on IPB 4.0.7 and would like to know if I need to edit any templates (forum, pages, etc.) if I upgrade to IPB 4.0.9.2.

Please see my attachment. The only reason I have not yet upgraded to IPB4 is the fact that these features are missing and in use by my community. The ability to toggle these on/off is very important to me. Will we be seeing this in IPB4? And yes, I am already aware that you can still post BB code in the WYSIWYG editor but you can not toggle that off to view the code directly after submitting it Thanks.

So I performed the upgrade, did not get any errors but this is what my forum looks like now. How do I fix that ? AdminCP looks the same and I can't find the recache options Scrolling down the page I see this error, maybe it's related ? Though I wish it would tell me what went wrong and not just that something did. A configuration or server error has occurred EX145 Something went wrong. Please try again.

Hello, I just upgrade from IPB 3.3.4 to 4.0 My Admin panel I need to Rebuild many data. I got Error Locked Tasks When I Click manually run them now I got Error Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@site.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. Does anyone have a solution to make the search work ? mine cant find anything ... i use imdb numbers in every topic and its a very popular way for my members to find topics , but the new search cant even find a 6-10 digit number . i love ips 4 but this is the biggest flaw to my community atm . i have read about sphinx but from what i have been reading its not much of an improvement . if anyone has advice on how to make the search work it would be amazing . thanks

I have recently been contacted by a customer of mine who bought a theme from my site. The customer is on the IPS cloud servers and recently had issues trying to install my theme, likely due to it's file size of 782kb (the theme contains numerous images). I've been told they were denied support via IPS, and were instructed to contact me instead. Their issue is as follows: Some of my themes exceed 1MB in file size due to additional theme resources. I can't reduce the file size unless I remove images from my themes and tell all of my customers to manually add the files themselves, which is less than ideal.
