Any advice on how to fix this please? Edit: I have removed the "Location" profile field and recreated it, how do I get it to show underneath the Avatar again? It is not there now. Thanks. EDIT: 2 Added the below to "display format": Now showing correctly with a : at the end.

I was testing the Videos application - after uninstalling that I just get a white page on my testboard. I don't think it is the videos app that caused it - there might be something wrong with my database. Anyway - my error looks like this (from latest store building cgi) I have deletes everything from datastore - I tried the "support" fix stuff, but that does not fix it. I have also looked for a sql error log i Cpanel - nothing there. Does anyone has a tip for where to look next?

Hi, I just upgraded one of our forums to 4.0. There are 13 million posts. After the upgrade we are getting constant table locks causing the pages not to load for several minutes. Then again it is fast as usual till the next table lock hits. I am not sure if this is even possible... Can I allow members to change the renewal terms of a subscription when it expires? I have a subscription setup as following: $9 for 30days$5 for 14days$2 for 1dayMost members buy the $2 to test out the product which I offer with the subscription and when it expires and they like it they want ofcourse to switch to another term, right now I have to change that manually for them in the ACP, is there a way to allow them to do that themselves? My only solution right now would be to use custom actions and delete the purchase completely from the DB onExpire... but it is something that I would rather not do. I really hope I'm just overloo…

How do you mass-change individual notification settings? Like... if you want everyone to receive an inline notification for the new "mention" function, after upgrade, how would you do that? This is just an example I am not sure how new settings are set after the upgrade as I have not done it, but there are some other settings I need this for as well. Is this not possible in the acp?

Hello, I am going to make tests converting my vB 4 to IPB 3 and then to IPB 4... the problem is that it´s a big forum and has a big database and now I can´t copy the database and make tests... Can I make the tests with the live database? The converter it´s not going to touch the live database, no? It´s only going to create a new database...? Thanks!

Is it possible to have a "see your own posts only" forum that is visible to guests, but can't be posted in until registered? I thought it might work with these settings, but the forums set like this do not show at all for guests (the guest permission mask is set to view and even read the forum). I was thinking it would open to an empty forum for guests, as it does for logged-in users who haven't posted in them.

There used to be a number displayed in the upper right hand corner of each post or comment in a topic thread. For example, the first post would show #1 and then the next post or comment would be #2, followed by #3, etc. That is just how it was displayed with the number symbol (remember that before it became a hash tag). Is this something that was taken out of IPB 4.0x?

Are the Admin CP and front-end themes supposed to be the same? Or is their a way to differentiate between the two of them? Every time I make changes using the customization module it changes both. If anyone could shed some light on this I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi guys, did anyone run into the problem yet that template changes stop to actually take effect? Changing my block template code will show in the custom block (under view template) but neither the preview nor the actual site reflect the code change. I.e. if I delete all code from the template, go to blocks and view the template the code is gone but the preview still shows images from my recent gallery images. This is actually not the first time it happened but I renstalled a few times for other reasons and that fixed this issue.
