I want to setup an external login for my IPB 4, setting up multiple different areas of the site and I want them to all share the same login. I had files and knew how to do this with IPB 3 but obviously they no longer work with IPB 4 mainly because the files like ipsregistry and ipscontroller are no longer in the same place. Can anyone help me figure out the new method for doing these things? thanks for any help

Is anyone facing the same issue that as soon as you switch on star rating on any IP content db all the remaining fields except desc and images gets invisible....? Hi, I’m stuck trying to upgrade from IPS 3.4.7 to 4.0.11 please help. Please note this is on a development server not production. I have backups of everything. Steps I took to upgrade: Renamed “/forum” to “/forum_old” Extracted “IPS Community Suite.zip” to “/” Renamed “ips_d3cce” to “/forum” Copied public, uploads, and conf_global.php from “/forum_old” to “/forum” Chown & Chmod to correct permission/user Restarted webserver & php (just to be safe) Run /forum/admin/upgrade.php These are the exact commands mv forum/ forum_old md5sum IPS\ Community\ Suite.zip 0e72b622ed61f5275d74b3471030286f IPS Community Suite.zip unzip IPS\ Community\ Suite.zip mv ips_d3cce…

Hey all, Got a little frustrated that there was no documentation around anywhere for the CSS framework that IPB utilises/has created; so I made one, spent the time and made a repo on GitHub and setup a website for it. While it is very minimal at the moment, I'm hoping to expand on it as soon as possible. Contributions are more than welcome, please don't hesitate to fork the repository (gh-pages branch) and make a pull request with any changes / additions. Hi friend! In version 3.0 it was possible to delete multiple users at once by selecting them all simultaneously. Can I do the same thing with version 4? For example I have 10 pages of spam users, how do I delete them all without having to go one by one? Thanks Bye

Hello, I have a problem with editing one member group on my board. When I click "Save", nothing happens. I checked the Chrome console, and there is this error: An invalid form control with name='group_username[3]' is not focusable. I posted support ticket, but no one answered for 2 days.

After upgrade of our production site, we just get unstyled content in the community and admin CP The issue seems to be that the application is prefixing the URI for the stylesheet with the board URL- See below. Help! i just migrated and my V-bul was under /forums. So now I need my IPB moved from /forum to /forums instead. I can't find anything to change the address in the new admin CP. I did change the conf_global file. Without changing anything in the admin cp, the forum works, but the admin cp fails. Please if anyone can help me fast. I need to get to bed.

I wanted to add oEmbed from CKEditor to the toolbar in IPS, but it had dependency issue.So I installed in this order:1. Lineutils2. Widget3. oEmbedNow I cannot see any toolbar buttons in the toolbar. Only the separator line shows. Is there a way to manually remove these last edits. I dont want to reset because I have made some custom buttons before that I need. Stig

In previous IPS admin IP could be elected to be PRIVATE in posts and everything. Mods couldnt see it and you could avoid MODS seeing each others IP too. How to do this in IPS4?

In IPB 3.4x there was a debug mode that lists page information at the bottom of the page. I think it was called debug mode, I can't recall. There were 2 or 3 options to choose from. Where is it in IPB 4?
