Hi Guys I'm pretty new on IPS 4 but I used the V3 version for many years Is very important for me to have a counter to keep a track of how many time a file/s have been downloaded due to their popularity, on old version I had a counter next to the file in the post but in new V4 I cant find this option Hope you can help

Hi guys, Since upgrading to 4.0 i get a gap between lines when posting, its as if i have hit enter twice instead of once, I notice it is happening when i type this in here also.... Ok I went to start a new topic in technical and clicked on new topic. However, the text from the previous post from yesterday was still in the text box. Tried refresh and new topic a few times and still the same Posted in this forum and all is good

Was this feature removed? I need the ability to attach a specific theme to a specific forum. I also made use of the mapping URL feature of IPB3, which allowed me to show a specific theme based on what was contained in the URL. How do you do this on IPB4? Was this removed intentionally? I don't understand why this feature would be removed?

Unless I'm overlooking something, I'm confused about an aspect of Pages. I can decide on a per-database basis what the ordering will be like - whether the record ID, publish date or a field determines the ordering, for example. What I'm confused about is how to overrule this for individual categories. It's possible, after all, to use separate themes, allow new records to post to a forum even if that's not allowed for the database as a whole, override permissions etc. Am I missing something? Hi all, After two months on V4 I could say our page views decreased despite posts number is still the same day after day. First of all I disabled ajax pagination, who was affecting anaylitics page views count, but now I would like to disable also new posts popup into topic view. I think this could help bring back page views to the previous count, but there's no setting for it. Is there an easy way to disable it? Thanks. Alex

I'm looking for a way to change the width of the emoticon window in the editor. Our members are quite annoyed with having to scroll both vertically and horizontally. Have already been in touch with IPS support, and their only advice was to see if I could find a hook or third party app for it. So far, I've come up empty handed. Could anyone here point me in the right direction?

When I embed a video using the "Insert other Media"-Button, it always shows scaled to 100% width when viewing the post. This is VERY ugly and annoying. How I can set it up so that it shows in the original embedded size, without scaling to full width?

If I show for example a leaderboard in mobile view the width is not only too big but also the mobile navigation is not shown on the screen without scrollilng to the right. What can I do to not show an advert if I use the mobile view/navigation? (My Ad System is Google DFP - Small Business).

With IP.Content 3.x it was easier to create custom blocks. I could do a call to bring up something simple like a list of categories. Or I could do a feed and have it foreach display a specific option. With IP.Pages 4.x it has some defaults built into the Block Manager, you can create a feed, but there is a lot less power in those feeds. For example I'm trying to get a custom block, that I can modify, to simply display the database categories. Similar to how the "Database Category Menu" works from the Block Manager, but there doesn't appear to be a way to manually create one. Am I missing something? Hi I wonder if its possible to hide any reported content from the board as soon as somebody reports the content. This would be a great help as it could be several hours ( I think I do sleep sometimes ha ha ) before I login and if there has been a unsavoury post image or video added then the first online user to see this could report it so it is immediately hidden and sent for moderation.
