By default, IPS places the Google Analytics code at the bottom of the page. However, Google seems to want it placed in the <head> section, and if it doesn't find it there, it makes me jump through all sorts of hoops before I can use Webmaster Tools: My question is, given the GA code is now asyncronous, I presume this means it doesn't delay the rest of the page from loading, so why would we NOT put it in the <head> section?

Hello, Each time I've upgrade the past few times -- has resulted in my site being down for HOURS on end. I'm at the point where I'm terrified of upgrading my site -- with the knowledge it could be down for hours on end. The error I'm receiving has been mentioned several times on this site -- but with no resolution available. Getting EX2 errors after 4.1.4 upgrade (only for guests). Disabling memcached and/or the option "Cache page output for guests" solved this. So, caching appears to be broken in 4.1.4. Or is there anything I'm missing (any command I need to run etc.)?

Is there any way to prevent certain sub forums (outside of group permission) from showing up in the Activity Stream? We have a few paid sub forums for vendors but would prefer their content not show up in the activity stream if at all possible.

Hello I've read the guide to install through FTP there it says if i have Cloud IPB (what i have now) i can forget all and all will be made automatically, but theres nothing expect a blank page. I already contacted customer support but they take long to reply :/ . I also cant connect to the FTP Account, i allow the certificate on filezilla but doesnt work. I can connect to all my other FTP Accs normally just this not. Help please? My payment got already accepted. Thanks in advance

"You do not have the cURL PHP extension loaded or it is running a version less than 7.36. While this is not required, it is recommended." I would like the latest and have googled how to do so however I am not finding anything of use. Could someone show me a site that shows such upgrade or tell me how. Thanks for reading.

Anyone encounter this before: The security token used to validate your session is missing or invalid. This can happen if you have been inactive for a long time or followed an incorrect link to the upgrader. Please restart the upgrader to resolve this issue. Error code: 3S109/4 This is immediately after I log into /admin/upgrade/. I have cleared cache, bounced the webserver, etc.

I have a forum set up so that users should only be able to see and respond to their own threads. However, the forum still shows all of the topic titles. They can't view the actual thread, but considering it's meant to be a "private feedback" and somewhat confidential, it's a little irritating. Am I missing something? " Users can see topics posted by other users? " is disabled for that forum.

Hey there, hoping to get some help from the centminmod/nginx users here. I just moved from apache, centminmod is setup, seems all good. I have copied all files across, leaving the htaccess and the DB is uploaded also. However, i am getting a 500 error (domain in sig) and at the moment im not entirely sure why. Are there any other hidden IPS settings I need to change over or something?

I used to have a block on my old 3.4 site which embedded my sites chatroom inside, I can't see to manage to get the block working and my attempts to re-make a new one is failing. I tried to do the upgrade through the AdminCP and it's not allowing me because I have modded the login.php and register.php. Does this mean I have to download the full package and upgrade that way?
