Hi, I have a serious problem on my boards, members are getting logged into other members accounts, i have no clue why this is happening and there is nothing on the logs on the boards, this started happening last night while i was sleeping, when i woke up i was greeted with many messages from people telling me how they were logged into account with access they shouldn't have. I can't even begin to explain what caused this.

like 40 ppl reported so far that they have been receiving a msg that they got banned for no reason at all. using 4.0.7. ive checked logs and no one banned them, and their usergroup remains the same. so i have no idea how they are getting banned :S they get a msg from the forum saying you have been banned error code 2s160/4

I switched from remote storage to local storage so I could install a plugin I purchased. I've found two issues I can't solve: Issue 1 First, when trying to install the mod, I received a configuration error notice. I'm just wondering if there is a way to do this. I want to export automatically any post that is in my sales forum to a specific Facebook group. I can do them manually one at a time by sharing, but want it set to do it automatically when a member make s a new post. Any plugins that could do that?

I had a drop down menu, and decided to get rid of it, and use a tab with horizontal sub nav. I deleted that drop down, now I can't access any of those pages no matter what I do. This is the error code on the page. Error code: 2T187/3 Anyone else experience this? Thanks JM

Hello I have the following "fraud" rule setup to require that all purchases are manually approved by an admin: However, a member with a subscription that was active prior to our recent migration from 3.4.9 to 4.1.8 was able to use their renewal invoice to pay for a new subscription without approval. Why didn't "Transaction amount = any" catch this and require a manual approval? Any thoughts appreciated.

I cannot test this here on IPS as we are not allowed to add an event to the calendar but on my site I have tons of white space at the side of my fields when adding an event. Do you have the same on your sites too? If so... do you have any ideas how to get round this? even a background image would fill the space quite nicely if we could add that.

Sorry, you do not have permission for that! 1C133/9 The application you uploaded cannot be installed because it is not a valid application, the archive is corrupt or the file and directory permissions in /applications do not allow it. /applications folder is writeable though and the archive is not corrupt. What am I missing?

When a member is suspended or banned, they recieve an error message stating they do not have access to the forums. Underneath that message, is a dandy little link to the "Contact Us" form. A great little "feature" angry and hot-headed members use to vent and threaten the staff with. Is there a way to change that message to something more custom - say an explanation of the top reasons people are banned/suspended? At the very least, how do I remove the link on just those messages only, and still keep it for other other forum error messages? And yes, we do provide reasons/explanations for the suspensions and bans at the time the penalty is given, but most people…

I was on Wordpress earlier, and same bucket, same cdn urls used to work. Now on IPS, s3 bucket with cdn, the site appears broken. Even after 24 hrs, results are same. The I tried file system with CDN url. But the result is same. Need help. Here is the link http://thedoc.org

I've enabled all my groups with the ability to report content, but no matter where I go in my community, I can't see the 'Report Post' button. I assume by default it should appear next to the time the post was made as it does here. I've tested it with a number of other groups and it doesn't appear for them either. Is there some over-arching button in the Admin CP to turn on reporting content that I'm missing?

I was looking for this setting but it seems that we don't have any. New permission which allows set up which group can see attachments would be good. For example, when I deny view attached images for guest I could save LOOOOOT of traffic and improve speed of my board. It's good suggestion isn't it?

Hello, the problem i have is that as soon as i have this Block in my sidebar my page loading speed is tremendously slowing down, like seriously. The normal loading speed would be around up to 1second, with this block in my sidebar its somewhere between 2-5seconds, depends kinda on how many people are online. Anything i can do better codewise? (thats kinda for sure) - Or outsource somehow? I currently have the latest IPB update and also the latest memcached version installed and running.

Hi, I purchased my 6 monthly license key a month or so back and I entered it in the appropriate area. Now when I log on to the Admin CP it randomly tells me I need to enter it again as if I never entered it in the first place. I've entered it each time in case I have not been doing it right but I cannot find any thing else I should be doing. This has probably happened 5 times in the last 4 weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure I'm on totally different wave-length to the calendar. To me single day event and all day event mean exactly the same. However the single day event you can add time of start and end. ie starts 9 am ends 6pm, which makes pefect sense. All day event you cannot. I presume that means its starts at 12.00 am till 12.00 pm ie 24 hrs???? makes no sense to me.. end of ... why have all day event???
