As the topic title says i am looking for someone who can convert my database back to the original 3.4.7 from 4.1. I have tried and tried to get my 4.1 boards up to the same level i had with 3.4.7 and i'm just not happy with how things are, i have installed new versions of hooks to replace the hooks i had before but they all seem either badly coded or not exactly what i had before, the whole layout changes of the forum are just not what fits my community and thus i have decided i want to go back to 3.4.7. I am looking for someone who can convert my database back to 3.4.7 and i am willing to pay the person for their time.

Hi there, I use my iphone to access my forum quite often, and the only thing that really annoys me is not having a generic home button at the top of every page. On my iphone, if I'm a few levels into the forums, I need to keep going to the top of every page, then navigating back a level, then back... Is it possible to have a home button around here??? In the desktop version, there is a breadcrumb trail, so it's easy to get home....

Hello all. Is it possible to set requirements with Facebook / Google registrations ? Or inport automatic date of birth and countries? We have that now as requirements on the default registration, and like the same with Facebook and Google.

Hi, I am trying to create a template for the Page Builder, that has a full row Widget Container across the top, followed by 2 columns of Widget Containers below that. Is this possible in IPS? Every time I try and create something with 2 columns, it does not allow me to have a full width container at the very top. Here is a mockup image of what I am after The white lines are the separators of the widget containers. As you can see I want a widget container at the top which spans the whole page, followed by 2 columns below that just like in the default pages template 'two_columns'. Says system/Text/HtmlPurifierInternalLinkDef.php has changed. I have confirmed it matches the default 4.1.10 and it wasn't updated in 4.1.11. I even replaced the file and it still is saying that it was altered. Is there another place I need to change to get this working properly so that message goes away in the support stepthrough?

Hi All, I can see various caching options in Advanced Configuration and it is suggested that we use Memcached. I generally have 100 to 200 members online at anytime in my forum. Can you please suggest if this (Memcached) is the best option for caching ? If so, how many seconds should I put for Cache page output for guests.

Basically, I'd just want to let people page backwards through the Latest Topics block. Mostly because sometimes people will go inactive for a month, etc and this is the main place my users use to to read up on things. Any ideas as to how I could set this up?

I am now populating my new Converted board. Many Members cant remember Passwords from old board or type them in wrong. Although I have the Log In Handler set and saved to lock them out after 6 attempts and to allow them to try again in 5 minutes, it locks bad Passwords out after 2 attempts. Am I doing something wrong or should I submit a ticket to Support? Plenty more questions coming...like: Is there a Preview function prior to saving/posting a Reply? Thanks.

I would like to know if IPS 4 can be run with MariaDB XtraDB (InnoDB drop-in) and if it can result in signifcant better performance, considering that files can be stored in the DB. I have found some old topics regarding InnoDB with IPS 3.4 and the search limitations. Sphinx was a must. But I guess that in the current development stage, XtraDB (and InnoDB) offers search capability.

Please bear with me. I just had my ancient Ikonboard BB migrated/converted to IOS Board....and am learning the AdminCP functions. My old board was mainly a Public Board with a few Private Forums. As such, Guests or Visitors could visit the Board, and immediately look around at Forums that allowed them Permissions to Read. It served as a good marketing tool, since if they liked what they saw they could register. Also Members who chose not to be "remembered" on Sign In could visit the site and act as Guests until they chose to Sign In.
