I can't believe IPS won't help me with this simple question and making me post it here but... Not sure if I'm using the right terminology, how to I make it so when someone clicks on the header logo it goes/points/redirects to my portal page? i.e. www.mypage.com/forums/portal Also, where do I change so that when someone puts in their browser www.mypage.com is goes to portal? and not www.mypage.com/forums/ where it seems to go right now. Thanks in advance

I would like to use my original logo across the banner portion of my forum, but when I go into the admin and upload it, it says it cannot and there is an error. Is there some way to simply use my ftp to set my logo banner? This 4. forum version is very cumbersome when it comes to skinning, imo.

Hello I'm on a forum where anytime someone tries to post it gets a 500 error. The post shows up when you refresh and go back to the site. Also you cannot click on some links on mobile. Does anyone know how to fix this? EDIT: Also cannot shout in the shoutbox. currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500

An user is trying to sign-in in our forum and getting this error: Error code: 2S129/1. Apparently it happens only with this user. Searching on google I found out that could be spam prevention, maybe the user´s ip or email is in some black-list. Is it the reason? If yes, what´s his next steps, to come out of this list? Or, if isn´t this, what does means the error code?

Im trying to convert my vBuleltin forum to IPB 4, I used the convertor and all the content that wasnt english(hebrew) was gibbrish(user fields, post, user names, forums) and member pages doesnt work. Anyone had the same problem and knows how to fix it?

In 3.4 there was an option to rebuild all download's support thread but I am unable to find the equivalent in 4.0. The threads are rather old and do not use the new 4.0 format and I would like to clear and rebuild them all for every single download. Is there a 3rd party that can do this?

Evening everyone! I've seen a handful of other posts floating around with the same issue. All were directed to have members look under Account Settings -> Signature to add or edit their signatures. This was typically followed up with "Oooh! Found it!" from the original poster. I've been going nuts trying to figure this out since the upgrade to the latest stable version. I've made sure all user groups have signatures enabled, yet the attached image is what we see for the Account Settings page. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. (And if it's something glaringly obvious that I missed, I promise to slap myself good and hard.) Thanks! …

Can anyone explain the difference in the blogs vs articles ability of IPS suite? I was originally publishing articles in my blog section, but then while figuring out the Admin dashboard I found an Articles page and it seems like a more appropriate way to do this/ My main intention is to have these articles populate in a blocked section on my main page, but sadly I don't see any plugins available for me to drag & drop on to the page. Any ideas or advice?

So the mobile version of my website, https://www.ohiocannabis.com is smashing the text within the WYSIWYG and just making it look bad, what do I need to do in order to fix this? (hopefully site wide and not just this particular line of text) Also at the top of the web page there is a large gap between the header and the start of the body - I tried adjusting this with CSS but it only was affecting the normal website, NOT the mobile version - for the record I am happy with the spacing on the normal website and ONLY want to adjust the spacing on the mobile version. So there are some videos that I would like to re-post on the website/articles but can only seem to get an iframe code - which doesn't work when adding the code to a new article. So how can/do I add an iframe video link to embed the video within an article? Hi all. Since we did the latest update, we have noticed a problem with the forum when using a mobile device. In some posts, depending on the length of usernames that have liked a post, the "Like" button seems to have developed a fault. It seems that upto a certain amount of characters moves the like button along to the right, and when you try to click it, the button instantly jumps down a line and doesn't work. When clicking it, if you hold the click, the button jumps down a line and stays there until you release the click? Any reason why this is now happening? When using "pages" and a database is created that requires moderator approval for new records, any groups that are moderators/admins that are intended to _not_ have access to the database receive an email that there is content needing approval if a new record is created, and the email displays the content of the record. Is this preventable*?

Hello, We purchased IP.B a couple of days ago because it is an amazing forum software. However, I ran into something I can't figure out. When creating a forum, you can set it to where users can only see their own threads. What I want though, is that they can still see the pinned topics but can't figure out how to get that to work. Hi, The Oswald font on my website is 'changing' to another font when it's viewed in Internet Explorer. I'm told that this happens because my site use WOFF2 fonts. How can I make IE read the font as Oswald? It's crucial to the design that it shows the correct fonts. Stig

I am trying to create an easy way for users of my IPB4 forum to submit an application (or "record") using ip.content aka "Pages". I have tried various permissions on the database but I am not sure if this is possible given my efforts or perhaps a bug with permissions. There are some problems with your database. Normally it is safe to try to fix these problems automatically however if your community is large, you may want to run the necessary queries manually.
