Hello, I received a message this morning from Google Webmaster Tools warning me about an increase of server errors on our website. It turns out that forum URLs with accented characters all return a 500 error. An example can be found here: http://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/22529-gamescom-interview-with-kaéo-milker-and-travis-mcgeathy/ It seems to have started after installing 4.1.14.2. Any idea? Hi I upgraded my boards but forgot to add the emoticons in and when the posts rebuilt they left out the emoticons. Now i have uploaded them how can i rebuilt the posts to reflect them? I giess messages will also need rebuilding. thanks

Hi everyone, As i have contacted InvisionPower and they apparently dont have copys of older software so i am going to ask the community, does anyone have a copy of the 4.1.13.1 Version or something in the versions of 4.1.* but not the latest 4.1.14.1 as i updated to 4.1.14.1 and broke 3rd party stuff, so i want to downgrade.

Why google indexing: /topic/*?do=getNewComment /topic/*?do=getFirstComment /topic/*?do=getLastComment /topic/*?do=findComment I need to index only */topic/ Anyone else have this problem? In search results I see 5 different links in the same topic page. It's very bad for SEO.

So I have something of an issue. I've got a database of players for an online game, where you can use an e-mail multiple times to register. Now say my in-game Administrator account is Administrator125, and I decided to make my forum account Admin. Using the current External Database Login Handler feature, a player could create the Admin account in-game, and log in to my Admin forum account using their game credentials. This is obviously a huge security hole and doesn't just affect forum admins/moderators. Does anyone have any ideas or methods to avoid such a thing from happening? So I set everything up at both the keyCAPTCHA website and in the ACP and then this message shows where the security check should be: I'm on CIC and so there are two domains for the site. Being a participant on many forums over the last 15 years, I have seen where they actually have a "Preference" area within the members account. And in that preference area there is a way for the member to tweak their own theme a bit, to see the colors they want during their interaction on the forum, even text size. For example, we may have a color blind member, who needs to tweak a shade of color a tad to better see the text or some controls. Does anyone know of a third party plugin or application that may accomplish this? Thanks for any feedback John

Hi, I have started using commerce and am struggling with either the lack of features, or me not being able to find the features I want. On wordpress with woo commerce I have an easy way to bulk print a single sheet per completed order that has shipping label at the top and a packing note/delivery note one bottom. I can print all my days/weeks orders at once and it is very easy to manage. Even if I don't want to print them all at once I can still print individual orders from 1 screen. Additionally, when I get an email it includes a shipping address, so if i'm not at home I can still process orders easily and everything I need to know arrives in my…

Is there a plugin that would allow me to create a leaderboard and that leaderboard would be updated automatically based upon points that are donated or given user to user? As an example, a user posts a very helpful topic and another user donated 50 points. I want all the users to be on the leaderboard and for that score to automatically update the rankings.

So my users are reporting that when the post links in their status updates, the link is not clickable. I have tried suggesting http:// in the front of the address, and that does not work either. Is there a setting I am not seeing or code I need to adjust to make links allowed in status updates? I have tried searching the forums here and there hasnt been any recent topics on the matter (2012 is not recent). Please help!

This very simple issue is giving me headaches. I have tried everything I could think of. Currently the "Allowed characters in display name" setting in the ACP is set to "a-z 0-9" (without the quotes). The effect this has is very confusing: in the registration form, if the user attempts to use a space in their username it will show their username is not valid. However, if the user simply ignores this warning, fills out the other forms with valid information and submits, their account will be registered. To be clear: I want spaces to be allowed. I can't work it out of why it's doing it. The URL of http://www.baysidegamers.com/Forums/ gets redirected to http://www.baysidegamers.com/ and what ever I do from the cloudlfare it's not working, I have no rules running. all other pages URL works other then /Forums

Hi there. Have recently installed IP Board and we are loving the options that it gives over other forum software. An issue we are running into is the selection of the checkboxes on user group permissions Navigating to Groups > Permissions, you are presented with a large range of check boxes to tick for allowing the member group to read, post, etc, on each separate forum. Problem is, i cannot seem to tick the boxes, no matter what i try the check boxes don't activate or change at all. This is obviously a large issue as we cannot allow our members to post anything. If anyone has any advice on this issue that would be great. Cheers.

Hello, I just upgraded to 4.1 from 3.4. The URLs for my articles appear to be broken. My old url structure was site_url/_/article_category/article_title My new url structure is site_url/articles/article_category/article_title I have already put in a ticket, but IPS has determined that helping me with this is outside of their scope of support.
