HTML templates can utilize $record but HTML blocks on the same page cannot? If that's correct, is there a proper solution to obtain the $record variable in a block on a database record page.

Simply put, I'm having issues where my image is showing up on the forum postings as normal for a userbar however, when going to a profile of a user, it shows as a massive image. What can I do to fix this? Please help. Forum link for reference: www.cyberdoor.tech Thanks, Agent Shark

There's an old post on this forum where it says that you can point a CNAME of your own domain to your hosted invisionzone.com site and it will work. Instead I get the error "This Community is Temporarily Unavailable!". Im trying to build a query using a variable. Unfortunately my piece of code is not working. Hello, I'm looking to do some HTML customization on some themes, specific to a forum and how 'threads' are displayed. I have an idea how to do this in my head, but putting it into practical code is difficult, being I don't know what variables I can use, identifying forum ID's, etc. I only want this edit to work on forum ID 46. I understand I would have to put in {{if}} statements to call this, but I don't know what "variable" to check if the user is looking at forum with ID 46. Hello, Does anyone know if there is a download option here in ips board that enable this great option. You can login with a different social accounts and reply on a selfmade topic for example in this case office 365 status. They login and just reply. I want this to be implemented in my forums. I think alot of you guys wil have great benefits of this to drive alot of traffic in the forums without logging in with a forum account to discuss stuff. Because most people are already logged in tot heir social account so commenting to a topic like this wil be quick and easy.

So i see that on most boards that after making a profile, your status update field is already showing on the profile timeline For some reason even though i have mine enabled for all members and groups, i'm still having to manually enable it for members or having to explain to them to go into edit profile and do Can someone tell me what i need to do in the admin panel to make this a default enable so when members join they will already see it on their timeline and can go ahead and use it

hello, I would like to know why my forums isn't open for public view.... if you open the website it goes directly to the login page. I want my forums to be visisble to everyone but if they click on something they should be directed to the register/login page I did enable qeust to view the forums but stil goes directly to login/register page. Hello in IPS 4.1.19.4 ACP I selectes "allow all filetypes. When a user insert a jpg, gif, png.. image, the image insert in the post with thumbnail. But if the image is .bmp extension, the image thumbnail not appears, and insert as an attachment.

Hi, In ips 3,the side blocks on the front page always installed below the Chat block and keep the chat widescreen. now, in IPS 4 every side block I added,start from the top and shorting the chat. Does there is a way to set the added side blocks that installed left side to start not from the top? as i wish it to start below the chat widescreen block. 10x

Hi All, Just want to see if I am missing the obvious on how to move forums into clubs - I have a gaming community website and have 15 or so forums for the individual games. What I would like is to do is have a club per game that we run/support. That way if a member can join the clubs for the games they own/are interested in and see filtered content. So first issue I have hit is how do we migrate a forum into a club? I see on the front end I can move topics over but there seems to be no way of mass doing it from the ACP. The second question I have is once the game forums are migrated over to clubs I want a presence of that on the homepage, I currently use …

So I added the widget but I can't create a status. (Even when I go to create on the top, I can create a topic but not a status.) I used to visit a forum that used IPB 4.1 that had the feature working fine. Is there a minimum amount of days someone has to be a member to post a status? I mean I am the admin so I should be able to.
