Hi, We are unable to use community after upgrading to 4.4.8. We are having issues with javascript files. Is there a was to regenerate them. What can we do. It looks like javascript layer is not working. Default skin or our custom is not working. Tried different browsers etc.

Hi! I am transferring over my customers from WHMCS to IPS Commerce for my web hosting business. I had to manually create invoices, mark them as paid, and then change the renewal dates. I setup my server and it talks to IPS but the clients are not able to navigate to their cPanel using the site. When I look at the server in I get this message when I look at the accounts: Does anyone know how to sync up the cPanel accounts to their respective IPS purchase? Thanks in advance!

Hello, my SEO for my community is very much so in disarray I would say , I have it registered with Google Search Console , and I've waited a while for google to crawl the site, now I check google search console in the coverage section and I have two errors one says there is a crawl error with a submitted URL the other says there is a 404 not found . does anyone know how I might resolve this ? I rebuilt the sitemap and tried that too. Thank You Regards Graham

Hello all, For some reason, Spotify embeds no longer work on IPS. My site is currently on IPS 4.4.7 and they were working but for the past few weeks, they no longer work. I tried on IPS's Test Forum and it also does not work. Hi Guys - Is it normal for a 301 redirect to happen whenever clicking on a specific post from the activity stream? When I click on the time and date of a post, to go directly to that post, I see a 301 redirect when looking at the page inspection info. Here's a screenshot. The first line in the bottom window pane says 301.

Hi, noticed when I went to my forum then scrolled down to see Load More Activity and clicked it the new content did not load appear nicely on the same level as that button is instead it loaded above the button and I had to scroll back up to see the additional content. Clearly something is wrong and its sometimes quite random when information loads nicely but its like 90% of the time its bad. SOMETIMES: This bug happens only when the button LOAD MORE is anywhere else but the bottom of the screen. hi, is there a way to edit an already written reply in the forum in a full size window like 3.4 days it was called full editing if I remember right? thing is that our design isnt fluid and when you edit a post you get only the medium sized selection of CKeditor buttons. sometimes my mods would prefer to have the full sized CKE window with all the tools available but thats impossible so far. perhaps a button can be added which loads everything in a big window similar to one when you create a topic.

Hi Guys - I noticed today that I can't make changed to the sitemap.php settings without getting the error. "Please enter a valid URL for the sitemap.php file" The sitemap.php file is there and is working according to IPS support, but I can't make any changes to the settings. I also noticed Rewrite URLs gives me this error: "The rewriting does not seem to be working. All, I'm testing a rather large conversion from vBulletin 3.8.x and have encountered issues with the blog conversion. As it stands, it takes about 8 hours for our members, members history, etc. to finish converting before it gets to the blog conversion. I'm trying to fix the issue, but don't want to wait such a long time between attempts. Does anyone know of a way to rerun the conversion for the blogs area only without having start from scratch? I'm wondering if modifying the values in convert_app_sessions would allow me to restart from the blog import, or putting the site in development mode, etc. Please excuse the ignorance. My default theme comes with a root_library.js script that takes something around 6000ms to execute. As you can imagine this is definitely not optimal. I've ran audits on the Invision Community and on this site the same script takes 1/6 of the time to execute and appears to be a "js.gz" file rather than a plain "js" file. Any idea how I would replicate this on my own community? All the info I can find is from 2010~ so I'm unsure if it's accurate and up to date. Honestly any info on how to cut the execution time of this script would be helpful since I'm not entirely sure how to fix it.

If I change the Title Boost setting, should I recreate an index? Can I prioritize an app in the search? Example: we have articles with exact search term in the title, but these articles are displayed below the forum posts and entries that even do not contain searched term in the title. I would like to have articles first if they have exact match, as they contain everything to the searched term in a structured way.

Short question: Can I add custom pluralization in language strings? If so, how? Example: (Yes, I am not talking about the following language string specifically - this is a general question) A language string says "%s has posted %s". Can I change it to "{# [1:A person has][?:Many people have]} posted %s"? Can this be done with any language string that just has "%s" in it, or does it require more? I did not find anything regarding this in the help section or I did not understand pluralization correctly. 🙂

Hi, I'm trying to move my old 3.4 version to localhost for archiving and some other purposes. I have moved it, updated paths in database. Any tips to make it browsable? I see a huge fall in almost all of my communities For example Mechanical-engg.com use to have more then 100 K pages in search engine and as of today just 4000 I have veen running this community since 2007 The community has 140,000 members another community had 140,000 pages and now only 60 K links in google this is also dropping very fast ( www.Vidyasagar.Guru) This is an active community How should i diagnose it what are the factors to look into it I want to save my community ranking in google Regards Saurabh

Hi, a user has successfully paid invoice for the subscription but invoice is still pending in ACP. When I try to mark it as paid in ACP, I get the error Normally I use plugin Subscription Privacy by @Thomas.to disable billing address for the subscription. The issue above happens since I use a new payment gateway for Robokassa by @Kirill Gromov. Unfortunately their support site is offline now. Previous to this there has not been such issues. I have also disabled billing address in ACP: Is it because of the new payment gateway that requires billing address? Or is there any other settings that I have forgot? Thank you!

Hi, we have strange issue on the site. Some members are suddenly kicked out from the closed and private clubs. They are members one day, and when they enter the site another day they are suddenly not a member and have to apply for the club membership again. This cannot be a handling error because: this happens too often to different users in different clubs this happens even to our staff (moderators) who are members of the club the members are not banned and do not get any other error. Hi guys, I've already asked in the Chevereto Community but sadly without response, maybe not many IPS users are really active out there. After integrating in 4.7 the upload button is displayed, but the problem is nothing is inserted in the textfield at all. I can click the button, the popup opens, I upload my pics and then the popup closes, that's all. Tested on 2 completely different sites with the same default plugin code (one is a fresh test installation without any other modifications). To make sure I tested exactly the same code with another editor (Froala, XF2), where it works fine. Is there some kind of special setting to make pup.js work with CKEdit…

Hey Guys - I'm at the Google Webmaster Conference Product Summit at the Googleplex in Mountain View today. All the things being discussed for improving search results are overwhelming. It makes me think, whatever happened to just writing good content? Also, much of this is out of our control as users of IPS. For example, I can't change the markup surrounding images to better appear in image search results.
