Hello everybody, I want to block a malicious robot, AspiegelBot, on my server, so as not to name it, whose IP address fluctuates over two blocks, as you can see below: 144.119. [160-169] .0 / 255 As you can see there are two ranges, for the third block, the IP varies between 160 and 169, as for the last block, it starts at 0 and apparently ends at 255. Is my writing of the ranges correct? 144.119. [160-169] .0 / 255 Thank you in advance, Best regards, Claude

Hello, Everything is in the title. In fact, I would like to forward emails from my admin@xxx.com address to a more personal address, that is, to yyy@orange.fr I placed a forwarding on my server but it does not work properly. Under .htaccess, is it possible, maybe a 301 redirect? How do you adjust the configuration in the Email Settings ACP? Thank you in advance, Best regards, Claude

This is a continuation of this topic: What I'd like to do here is integrate the authentication from IPB to my own website, so that i.e. when a user logs into my IPB forum they are also logged in on my own site... so that I can display things on my own website depending on whether they are a guest/logged in user, admin, etc. for example. This isn't login forms on my site, but integrating the whole website with IPB. I was initially told that in my above topic I could include the init.php page and this would allow me to use the framework, but I contacted support who at first wouldn't even speak to me unless I renewed my license, so I renewed my license to get the …

Everytime I run the ips4.php file (Invision Community Requirements Checker 4.4.10) it takes exactly 60 seconds to complete. The result is good, all green but it takes exactly 60 seconds which is too long. What could be the problem?

Hey team, Like everyone, I want my forum to load as fast as possible. My page speed score is a D, according to Pingdom. The ads are to blame, but unfortunately I can't really see a way to get around that entirely. I won't get into how frustrating it is that UX is compromised to earn revenue and how backwards that is. My website's CDN is integrated using the ad company I use, Ezoic. It did improve site speed, but I'm not satisfied with a D rating. They also have something called a Site Speed Accelerator, which is their advanced caching tool. It's pretty powerful. https://www.ezoic.com/site-speed/ However, when we enabled it, my forum ran into all…

Hi everyone, in the google search console I have several pages, almost all of them, with mobile optimization error, too small text to read or selectable elements too close to each other. The site obviously has no problems and visibility is excellent, do you have any ideas?

Hi Invision, We've stopped using MailChimp for email sending. Can you please help us to integrate Klaviyo instead of MailChimp? Can anyone please help on how to setup Klaviyo instead of Mailchimp? We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Alfredo Avalos

Hi, I am pretty new to all of this and am rapidly learning bits. I am attempting to move my Forum/website from one server to another. I have tried and failed at making a mirror test site. The current site runs IPB 3.4 and PHP 5.4/6 I think. The server I am moving it to is a Plesk Onyx one, I have changed the Conf_global.php file, copied the databases and webspace over etc I kept the database details the same for the new ones to limit changing of files as I thought this was the initial cause. I then changed the DNS settings of the original domain to point to this and it fails. I seem to get an error page here: At first the error said it was a mysql o…

Hello, the APC of my website displays the following sentence: "Results are shown in the server's timezone." And when I read this message, I get two lines of information: "Your MySQL server does not have timezone support available which Invision Community needs to show the results of some charts in your own timezone. The results shown on this chart are therefore in GMT, which is what your MySQL server is set to. To see results in your own timezone, contact your hosting provider or system administrator and ask for the time zone tables to be populated." I am shared with Hostinger, https://www.prenommer.com/. I admit that I don't really know what it is and how to fi…

I know that many of you use CDN on your websites. We are going to do a survey and opinions from your experience are appreciated. Actually I am currently using Cloudflare and Cloudfront. But I akm testing Cloudfront in only one website. So I select Cloudflare. Why Cloudflare? Price Include WAF Acceptable support. Why am I testing Cloudfront? I expected better performance in Cloudflare. I want to compare. I want to test te Cloudfront configuration for a possible future migration of other websites.

Hi all, Working on a vBulletin conversion and was wondering if anyone had any experience with some potential file permission issues. Essentially, the forum is able to write files and folders as intended (everything from when i upload a new avatar/cover, writing templates to filesystem, a new skin I'm working on is able to create the folders and files for css_built_X, etc etc), but some functions typically related to read access aren't able to run. For instance: * Since this is on a test server I've disabled email functionality via SELinux to prevent accidentally sending out mails. Have done some actions (i.e reporting a post) and now the mail error log r…

I just noticed that the table core_file_logs is pretty big, 500MB, taking about 20% of the entire db size. From the contents of the table I cannot identify what it is storing, but the "logs" in the name implies that it is probably something that can be pruned 🙂 What is stored here, is it safe to truncate and is there any way we can control its size from an ACP setting or something?
