I've recently added a couple of plugins to add a sign up button to my 403 no permission page and customise 404. However, it's made me realise that the error pages arent' working in the way I'd expect. Example some someone not signed in (we have boards not visible for guests)... Follows a link to a discussion - 403, all good Follows a link to a forum - 404 which I'd have thought should be a 403 because it's there but they don't have permission We've also created a custom homepage which we've linked to our forums, but if a guest clicks through they get a 404 because they aren't visible to guests. Is making them visible to only way to overcome this error?

I was looking through old forum posts and I couldn't find an exact answer to my question, I was wondering if there is a way to sort staff under the staff directory in an alphabetic order easily. This probably require some editing in the theme however I am new to this field and would appreciate some guidance if possible.

Ok, I'm at a lost. I've searched and searched and I can' find a way to change the URL on the logo at the top of the forum. Hello, I have enabled google signup , created apps, tested it, it works with the test user brilliantly, also an older account I had, with that email, is merged with the google sign in seamlessly. But to publish and verify it, I also need to know if I need to select any of the scopes mentioned. In the google guide of invision its not mentioned. Do I leave it blank? On Pages, I'm doing my best to try and utilise everything they have to offer. I can see with Fields it can make a record very powerful in what information it can save. My specific thing i'm trying to do now is add a way for a user to add to a new record into a database, where they can select from a number of options. I can do this easily with the 'Select Box' field. However, the things they'll be selecting from need a visual aid so I need to understand how I attach a picture to each option in the field. hi - this is a bit of a niche question. I'm about to invite into my community a group of people who need a safe and confidential space to meet and chat and share resources. I want to check how I do this properly for them. I know how to create forums and clubs which can be hidden from other user groups. My questions though are: If items such as files, books, web links, and so on are added to a privately setup Club, can those items still be seen anywhere else on the site? I'm presuming not but I wanted to check. If I create a specific usergroup for these people as a secondary group (let's call it Group B) for them to belong to, is there a way to create that …

Hi I am just renewing our sites privacy policy and just querying privacy information with regards using the integrated IPS Spam Defence system. Obviously under GDPR we need to be open about information sharing and using the integrated Spam defence will obviously result in information being shared with IPS servers. Unlike using hCaptcha which has a an integrated privacy statement on the registration page there is nothing in relation to Spam Defence and IPS. Is there a link I can include in my Privacy statement which relates to IPS use of data sharing through the Spam defence software ? Thank you

Hello, Our forum is reserved only for professionals of our profession. To filter registrations, I would like to find a solution. (to be sure we are only between professional people) Members can register on the forum, but must introduce themselves (write a short presentation). Thus, we decide whether or not they are fit. If so, we approve their application and then they can post to the whole forum, if not, they cannot access the rest of the forum. Today, a new member can post on the rest of the forum, he had a restriction to 1 message, and the only place where they can post is the presentation subforum, however that is not appropriate. Hi guys Is there a tool or plugin for automatically flagging posts for moderation that contain certain words? For example, we're based in Thailand, so anything said about the King or Royal Family is a big no-no, and we need to moderate every post that contains the word 'King'. I cant see anything in the Auto Content Moderation settings that would let me add a list of words to auto flag when used - or am I missing something!? Thanks
