Profile completion Steps

i have set up some steps for profile completion and made them required - however, each time a user signs up, the values are blank - how do i make the questions mandatory?

There’s a “required” option in the step. Edit in the ACP and change it to required.

Hi - i have done this, what else am i missing and can i retrospectively force members to complete

Have you tried to set the profile fields as required too?

I thought I had - all profiles that have been completed are Null/Blank values - any idea?

Have those users actually been through profile completion? It may be that they have not yet filled them in, so would only see that screen

If you want them to complete it at time of registration instead of after the account is created (within the profile completion phase), you could witch to using the full registration form for your default login method.  

Change "Yes with quick registration" to "Yes with full registration form".
