Improve sign up form button for Events
Gee, that’s great. The red button should say Declined, not Decline, since that’s what you’ve done, not what you’re going to do Actually, maybe Change RSVP should just be RSVP. Otherwise it looks like you’re changing to your present status.

Event Going button
The button to click to indicate that you're going to an event is labeled " Going". This suggests that you're already going. The label should be "Going?"

These deceiving buttons remain. Just tricked me again, and I know better.

Notification of calendar event comments
A user asks if those who've RSVPed to an event would receive notifications of comments on the event. As I understand it, those who follow the event would, but those who've RSVPed would not. I think it would be a good idea if they did. If RSVPing to an event were added to the following list, that would do it.

Events overview page layout confusing
Ehren, you're freakin' awesome...but we already knew that. Thanks!

Mark event read?
Didn't think so. Would be nice, though.
-
Mark event read?
In the activity stream, yes, but not marked in event overview, right?
-

Mark event read?
New forum topics and comments are marked unread. A member asked if events and comments could be displayed as read or unread as well.

Events overview page layout confusing
I added Upcoming Events in featured mode to the top of the page. This gives us the display we'd like, and pushes the rest off the bottom of the screen. What I'd like to do would be to suppress Featured Events, Happening Near You, and Online Events, as they become redundant. I'll keep Browse by Month, as it lets us look back in time. We do need to get Upcoming Events below the header with the create and subscribe buttons too. To put it more clearly, replace FE, HNY, and OE with Upcoming. @Ehren ?

Events overview page layout confusing
Events page has Featured Events Happening Near You Online Events Browse by Month These elements can't be rearranged or suppressed. This means that an event might show up in three places, or that an event might be pushed off the bottom of the screen. I've been catching hell from my members about this mess. If these could individually be moved or suppressed, and if other blocks like Upcoming Events (which is great with its flexibility) could be dropped in, that would fix it. Seems doable. I was able, at least, to suppress the map in Happening Near You, and that did help. I know full efforts are on squashing bugs rather than adding features, and that's as it should be...but this is a bigger bug, in effect, than a label that's off by a couple of pixels.

Suggestions: Editor tables and creating a registration form
Aware of that. What we need is a way for a user to add an event with a link to which an attendee would be taken upon RSVPing to an event. The link would be to a spreadsheet the user who created the event set up. A Zapier setup wouldn't be accessible to a user creating an event. Now, the event creator puts the link in the event posting and asks attendees to go there, and that generally works. The catch is that attendees can RSVP without finishing the signup process.

Suggestions: Editor tables and creating a registration form
We're trying to do the opposite, to go from the community to a Google sheet or other arbitrary link.

Event calendar not working properly for recurring events
Did this ever get fixed?

Suggestions: Editor tables and creating a registration form
Yes, please. My suggestion has been a way to add a link in an event posting, which could go to an external sign-up form or provide more details about the event. We do this now with a Google form for each event, which does compile the submitted data to a spreadsheet. An RSVP response would go to the link. This should certainly be doable, and would be flexible. A form which could drag in profile info from IC could be even better, but would be hard to create and less flexible, I suppose.
