Hello, I would like to associate the groups with the clubs. For example, if a member is in the VIP group and wants to enter a club that is private, the VIP member will not have to wait for the owner to accept him, he is accepted automatically. Right now it is the same template for filters as for forms. This means that you will have all sorts of strange things happening, including have default form value being preselected in the filter?! A filter should behave differently from a form because the interaction is completely different. So I suggest a new template for filters that makes it possible to adjust behavior accordingly. Maybe add a setting or two in the UI if select a field to be used as filter? Use predefined value (yes/no) Make filter collapsible (yes/no) Maybe?

BIG REQUEST! I'm quickly learning that adding a new record in a database can be a battle. Where new records in DB1 require the creation of new records in other databases (DB2, for instance), adding them requires opening a new tab, and entering the record you need DB2 before finalizing the add in DB1. So, in my case, if I am adding a missing person to DB1, who went missing from a location I do not currently have in DB2, with an investigative entity that is not present in DB3, I would have to manually open both DB2 and DB3 to add that content in order to actually "finalize" my DB1 entry. Some feedback for the team @Jordan Invision in the manages blocks side panel the option for a Page Builder block: Is there a chance you could add an option to say whether a URL link is _self or _blank optimized? I want to use this, but the link always reverts to _self and I would prefer it to be _blank so it opens in a new tab and leave my site open in the originating tab. With thanks 🙂

I am broke right now and I can't renew my main IPS license. My big life issue has a big thing to do this for me but regardless. My license expired a week or so ago and I just got notified of the security patch but since my license is expired I cannot update it. So please just make sure that it doesn't even show patches if we can't download them. Kind of pointless even if it is a security patch.

For the purpose of my site I would appreciate if the Gallery could have a Slideshow button. We are presenting albums with tens of images in each album and it is not comfortable for the members to be clicking each time they need to go to the next image.

hi, I have a suggestion about your website - IPS and its section - Release notes. https://invisioncommunity.com/release-notes/ Its a fine page to track all the changes, I love it. But it misses one vital user experience enriching function. When you for example scroll down some more and you click on for example on 4.1.19.2 Released 04/11/2017 The information loads but you have to manually scroll back up to see it. That is not a good user experience. IMHO whenever a tab with a version is clicked you have to be scrolled back up to the top automatically so you can see what was done in that version. 🙂 hope you come up …

Still navigating invisioncommunity.com today, the carousel feature don't work fine for mobile, example the Our Picks section, in mobile it just have the last article sticky, and can slide it manually. The some problem happening with my site, I try to use Videobox carousel widget, but it don't work for mobile, the developer say that problem is IPS core side problem...

If we want to make available a paid subscription formula, we must bring a real plus. I think, why not use something like clubs. After joining, this will open a club or something else, with a "private member area" page that might look like a club page but better. I upgraded from 3.4.x to 4.0 and noticed a lot of the old content of the forum didn't transition so great - lots of broken links, old bb code, unreadable quoting structures etc. So I've put together some find/replace MySQL queries to help with getting as much of my community back as possible. My site has been on IPB since 2.0.0 DPR1 according to my log, since 2004. I'm not going to lie - there were a lot of stranded files (hopefully mostly resolved with IPB 4 as I migrated to a fresh install base) and tons of extra crap in my SQL DB. Hello, there was this topic regarding excessive emails notifications and well on that accord I wish to provide my own feedback. There's no secret I follow a lot of files on IPS Marketplace that I have purchased or I'm interested in purchasing. So I follow them to be informed when new versions are uploaded. I have wished for this in the past but succinctly this is really needed: Before email notifications are sent they should be queued for a short period of time. If admin/mod is on site when notification arrives and they act on notification clear from email queue request for action notification ( i may get an email after i've already addressed issue) clear my notification when I took action on notification ( currently remains un-read ) clear all other admin / moderators site notifications and email queue - (why waste bandwidth and waste time )

Hello, I have created different types of subscriptions but I find that it would be convenient to be able to create categories that are not visible to all members. I don't want to use the shop because the subscription system means that you can only have it in a subscription. The member might see only 3 subscriptions and if he subscribes to one of them, then he will be able to see the other subscription possibilities.

Hello, Members often send PDF, ZIP, IP-Downloads without illustrations. I have to edit each topic to add a MIME icon, which takes time. The idea is that if there is no illustration/icon associated with a document/file in the IP-Downloads, MIME icons will be used. In the administration options, we should be able to choose to add an illustration/icon for each file type. We can also imagine that when the member sends a photo in IP-Downloads, there is an automation for the creation of the illustration based on the photo. Moreover, this generates many (useless) files on the server. If the file was common to all, it would save space and bandwidth, thanks to cache…

Hello, It lacks the functionality (CP-Admin) to move the blog, forum, agenda, files... from one club to another. It should also be possible to make it invisible/maintenance to members, this means that when adding topics to a forum, blog, files or full Club, members are not notified. If the Club is in maintenance/inactive mode, have the possibility to send a message/newsletter to all these members.

Would it be possible to make the ability to post remote images a group permission in addition to a board-wide setting? We allow our users to post images but we've had a spate of incidents relating to new accounts being created and distasteful images being posted in threads. We don't ban the posting of remote images because this obviously limits what images can be posted at all. A compromise we've come to is that it would be good if we could restrict members with very low content counts from posting images. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be possible to do. We have a lot of traffic so approving new posts from members with low post counts isn't really an option…

Today we have an endpoint to get all records from a database with the Rest API : /cms/records/{database_id} Some usefull parameters are available, to get records from a catagory, or to sort by a default field. But there is some lack. It could be very nice to allow the Rest API users to do more things : To filter the records according to a default field (even if we can use the core search endpoint, but which is limited to title/content) and for custom/complex fields . I recently had an issue where a member had created an alternate account with which to downvote another member they didn't like. After finding out, I went into the alt's profile in the admin cp, and removed reputation given, and reputation received. This did not restore the original victims reputation for some reason. Furthermore, when I then tried to merge the alt account with the owners original account, it got real weird. The alt disappeared as expected. But ANOTHER not aforementioned account was then credited with downvoting the original victim. In other words, the original account that issued the downvotes was gone, but the downvotes were not. I LOVE(!!!!) IPS's widgets/blocks thing. They're so easy to use, intuitive, give you the ability to show flexible information literally within three clicks, and all that. I'm sure everyone is well aware of how freakin' awesome they are.
