Hi everyone, One small request if it is possible... Language control panel under ACP is NOT a friendly environment.... I am going to try to give some feedback to make this friendlier for all of us who have bilingual platform Most of us who has bilingual platform; we do not translate admin panel, we only translate front end; therefore we need a good system that separates admin and front end language bits... (very important) When I click on "Untranslated" the admin and front end option should be there too.

hi Invision team In WordPress, we can easily backup by installing some plugins and save it in a file storage (google Drive and etc) And whenever the website has a problem, we restore it, although all this happens automatically. Thanks for including this feature in future updates!

Has anyone else noticed tons of Chinese searches on your forums. I know that in ACP under Statistics>Searches there are just tons of Chinese spam lookups. About the only way I see to combat this is to disable the search module for guests, but then they can't use the tags function. Does anyone else run into this or have a solution. It would be nice to see invisible captcha or something similar for guests when using search.

Please add a possibility to exclude some databases from search engine indexing. There should be a possibility to add <meta name="robots" content="noindex" /> to all database records in one database at once (probable via page database), and to exclude certain databases from the sitemap. Examples: Databases with thin content, like database relationship records created only to group the main records. Databases with quotes, citation, news snippets - not unique content. Databases created from forum topics, blogs etc. - duplicate content. Thin, not unique and duplicate content is terrible for SEO. It would be perfect if we could control, w…

The ability to add users to a group, from the group settings area is ideal. Currently when adding a new group with a large user base, you have to individually search the user name, edit their group permissions, hold the "control" button down so you don't lose the existing groups, select your new group. Then search for the next user. Very tedious process that should be made a lot easier. Took an afternoon to add 50 people to a group and I have about 1300 users left to go .... this will take a month.

Hi i know this has been discussed before, recent browsing and who's online do not show in real time so are now cached. This is now being noticed by my users. Is there a way to stop these blocks from being cached ? i still want the side bar and header/footer cached for longer periods as they rarely change. I manage a few forums and on busy forums its not so noticeable (only by the members) but on the not so busy forums it makes it look like there are no members browsing the forums. Reducing cache times to try and solve the recent browsing and who's online issue in my opinion defeats the whole idea of having a caching system. Thank you

Feature request to make it so if someone has "read only" access to a forum, the user cannot vote in a poll. This makes transparency, and voting accuracy very tedious for groups trying to follow Roberts Law. We want to remain transparent giving users access to "watch" a vote in progress but not give them access to vote.

5 months ago I created such a topic in Client Lounge I confirmed @bfarber moving the topic to this section - but this does not seem to have happened. This file is rarely changed. The cache does not need to be only 24 hours. This is probably fixed in the output php or somewhere else. This expires time cannot be changed with a htaccess file - I've tried all the options found on the web. Please put in ACP an option to change expires time to this cache. Thanks.

I have gone a few weeks and months when a new toggle switch was introduced for a new feature but failed to find it. I was late to enjoy the new settings unless it's obvious a lot find and seek goes on in the acp. Can we get a set of tags or something that when we type some tag specific to the version or something it will list ALL new settings and navigate me there? Or if by some magic the content of the release notes appeared in our own ACP and any new or altered 'setting' had a button or link to setting.

Logged in to the forums and get an popup notification of someone replying to a followed topic. I click it and follow the thread. Look at the bell icon and the same person's notification is listed there. But still marked unread. Any action taken on a notification be it pop up / email / etc should render the notification read. Further if a notification is an group notification such as Mod/Admin notification that someone needed to review and another mod/admin took action on the notification all other recipients of the notification should be dismissed or other wise indicate who responded to the notification.

It would be very useful if there was a way to "tag" a tag. I mean, I know we can tag members using @. But what about tagging the tags themselves? I've tagged many topics with different tags and it would be great to know if it's possible to create a function to tag those tags. For example, I have airlines tag for many topics. When I write a new post, it would be great to refer to @airlines so that members could click on that tag and be taken to the airlines tag stream, all the posts that contain that tag.Thanks a lot.

Hi, In the IPS 4.6 update user's hovercard information what user do was removed. I propose to restore this option. Currently it looks like this: The word "Online now" appears all the time for 15 minutes after the last user action. In my opinion this is confusing and should be changed. Here is my suggestion: or What do you think about it? In my opinion, this last suggestion makes the most sense.

Hello, I would like to suggest a feature on how the refunds and cancellations are done. There is not a text field where the admin can write a personal message that should be sent to the customer to explain the reason of the refund or credit. I've done a couple lately and I wanted to explain the reasons why a partial refund was being done. I just couldn't because there is not such an option. The system should have a text field where custom text can be written and an email should be sent to the client with the cancellation/refund and the personalized text, if any has been added. A couple of things that would solve the member email concerning not being able to register which are being created by the Security Questions setup. Currently if someone selects the same question for 2 or more of the required questions they are returned to the registration page but there is no indicator what the issue was with the registration. Some suggestions for improving this flow Properly flag the issue if the member is returned to the registration page Rather than pre-fill the question box with the first possible option to select from, pre-fill it with something like "----Select a Question---", a non-selectable option.
