Currently, when a record is created, you have the option of posting that record as a thread within a specified forum. If you utilize that option, both creations come with a canonical tag that gives the 'thread' preference. It would be nice if there was an option to give the 'Record' prominence over the 'Thread.' Having Google being directed to not rank the database page in tis manner kind of defeats the whole underlying purpose of a CMS system.TYIA

Hi, Related to this topic. Currently we have Editor Settings > Advanced > a selective GUI for ACF "to loosen the restrictions". I think we need also a complementary filter to do the opposite without disabling rich text. See Filtering Pasted and Dropped Content. An additional filter (called paste filter) can be configured to handle pasted and dropped content. It will be applied independently from ACF, so it can be used as the only filter (with disabled ACF), or as a complementary filter (for example to filter pasted content with stricter rules than all other content).

"E-mail support" is not working perfectly for me. E-mails from support are somewhat disappearing - I don't know where they are going, but I do not receive them - not in Spamfolder either, and my second e-mail adress need to be a member here on this site to have as an alternative contact in my client area. Now my own second e-mail adress is not allowed to register on this site - for whatever reason. Anyway - the reason for this topic is a suggestion - why don't Invision use the forums for support? They can clearly see my messages in the Test posting messages, (because sometimes they reply to it) so why don't you just have a forumsection with the right permissions to …

It would be useful to expand the topic reporting function for user profiles as well. Very often lately IPS Spam errs and gets numerous spammers to sign up, but it errs really often... As I understand twitch was removed from 4.6 due to the removal of the api for oembed. From the research ive done it is possible to do embeds again https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/embed/everything And I'd love to see this return for myself and other communities.

World has moved to light/dark themes in OS, application and also at web level. When does IPS plan to provide dark theme default with forums? I am pretty sure, for skilled developers like IPS, it's not much work and having default theme with nice toggle, will help everyone. PS Yes, I am aware of custom themes but I feel something like this should be default.

So many time I try to simulate how we can use forum to replace conversations topics from Whatsapp groups, people continue use whatpsapp or others chat systems becasuse the way to send a message is so faster than open page, open topic, think in which topic name used, etc etc. So try to set up a better topic system to manage conversations or dicussions that demand actions from members during the discussion and after discussion time. Hey fam, would you guys find short links for our IPS forums to be useful? So instead of pasting a long link, or using Bit.ly (for example), a plugin/app is created that generates a short URL for your board. Bitly just started capping how many links you can create in a month on their free account. Thoughts?

We are currently trying to use the calendar more in our community, but have some features/improvements that we are missing. RSVP responses are currently only shown with the profile pictures, especially with >10 responses or on mobile devices where you can't just hover over the names it's hard to see who sent a response. If you could toggle that you see names instead of just pictures it would be much clearer. With serial events you can not only edit one entry and feedbacks are for all entries and not just for one. Not a huge deal, but still confusing: This option in the Database Filter Widget to only show my own records … is very useful, but pointless and confusing if the database is set to only show my own records. I suggest, the filter widget checks that settings and suppresses the choice to only show my own files.

Whenever you delete member's posts where he has abused the reactions, and then used the recount reputation from ACP after they were deleted. It recounted the reputations, but it didn't recount the "DAYS WON". Reputations and DAYS WON options shouldn't be linked together, so whenever you recount a member reputation, it should recount his DAYS WON too.

Hello, As we already know, this is a great option for communities that want to fish for new users, as it allows the guest to see the option to comment, to complete the submission they are redirected to registration page. Just missed one thing... A list of these contents, the system saves email and content to the database to remind the user by email, but doesn't have a transparent list in ACP.

The title of the suggestion says it all. I've been an IPS customer for some time, I use the system in 2 companies with totally different segmentations. I can say that the IPS support system is extremely useful, so much so that I chose to use it on my private game server. It turns out that players of any type of game can't stand having to constantly view emails. So it would be very helpful if you could insert the push notification system to the support system too, once a response from the Administration is sent, once the ticket status is changed make the player be notified via (push) it would be extremely useful not just for the gaming community but in general. …

Hi, I would like to suggest a new style to handle the topics list page, at least as user perspective it will increases space for title and their elements... Just change the avatar to end of topic's elements. Or alternative if you can add option to remove the use of avatar, because after the title, there already shown who is the creator of that topic.

I noticed in blog - edit time is only 10 minx appx. Can we increase to at least 20 mins on this forum? Sometimes, doing multi-tasking.. so will post and will try to re-read what I had posted and I can't fix errors or missing info/details. 20-30 mins edit time is fair enough for your clients.

What do you think about creating an option to add prefixes in front of the topic name in different colors? to choose from in some sections of the forum? something like in the attachment. I think this is a very useful feature and needed.

I am using S3 file system for most IPS4 static content. But there is no cache-control header by default to tell browsers to cache the static content. S3 bucket has no default metadata to apply to new objects uploaded. Is there an IPS4 setting to add metadata (like "Cache-Control max-age=31536000") when we use S3 as file system?

I want to offer subscriptions based on age. I don't want minors to see these subscriptions. I require all members to provide full birthday in profile when they sign up so know their ages. I have a secondary group for adults. Would like to move all members over the age of 18 into the adult secondary group. Currently, my profile hook does this, but would like to see built in support for secondary group promotion and subscriptions based on age (if known). Do I need a hook for Commerce to support this use case, or might you add this as a feature in an upcoming release?
