It should be possible to make the "Our Picks" page as the community's default homepage. It looks just like a homepage, it's great! I've contacted support and they suggested I post here. If you agree with this idea, feel free to show your support in the comment section below!

Hi I'm not sure if this is available but I've been thinking about the idea of offering people a choice on what they consider a fair price for a product . Kind of like an honesty box or donation box if you like this would be coupled with the option of allowing a minimum amount payable if necessary. Is this kind of thing possible? Could it be made available here as a trial on invision market?

Hello, you've got such a great contributor community but you don't use it's full potential. I've learned so much from others and I am still willed to return the favour. At some point I noticed that I even forgot the solution I've learnt in the past and I am having a hard time finding the post/threads again. Why don't you allow users to suggest edits/new posts in the dev docs? Basically a wiki based dev docs page. Obviously it should be moderated by one of your developers to make sure the information make sense to some extent, but it would help us and other developers. At least create an own Guides/Tutorial section for developers. The fact that someone can't edit…

Hi, sorry but I don't understand why forums in clubs are called topics. If I add a forum to a club it can contain topics but the area itself is a forum and not a topic. So the word "Topics" in the "Manage Club" pull down should show "Forum". This is very confusing.

I'd like to see the ability for adding a venue from the front end to be controlled via a permission in membership groups, rather than just being a purely admin function. This would give us admins the control over whether a membership group has the ability to add a venue from the front end.

1. Could we toggle Pending / All ? I have to drill into each shipment, come back out and select Pending again. Everytime. 2. Could we put order number and / or username in the list? People order something, then before that is shipped order something else. It would save time/money to consolidated these orders before you have packaged them. 3. Could status be expanded? We have shipped & Pending. But how about On Hold, Problem, or in Production ect? Things like that? Thanks JM

Was on some forum the other day and noticed there was an option to set the first post as a wiki - which allows any one with proper permissions to edit the first post - and of course have history and roll back features. Is this something on the IPS horizon or something that could be useful? just curious.

I just updated my Facebook photo and the cropper they use is great. You position the cropping window where you want it and use a zoom slider to get your face just the right size. This cropping widget is very nice, much nicer than IPS4's cropper which seems very "old style" and not that user friendly. You can also re-crop a previously uploaded original photo if the cropped photo just doesn't look right when you cropped it the last time. Any chance IPS could look at "modernizing" the profile photo upload and cropping UX for IPS4? IPS4 should "remember" the originals uploaded and have a more user friendly cropper. Hi, I simply love the new Promote feature: I have a suggestion. An option to set the default scheduling type. We have three scheduling types: Now Auto schedule Custom schedule The default is "Now," but I want the default to be "Auto schedule." Since we will have several people curating content to be promoted, we want to make sure that none of our contributors will forget to change this setting... Otherwise we might end up with lots of topics being shared on the same day. Thanks!

When enabling the new security questions feature, the platform repeats the same questions in all fields. In my opinion, it should select question 2 in the second field, question 3 in the third field, and so on. See in the attached screenshot what I am talking about. See how the same question is displayed in all three fields.

Hello, so according to this, the current prefix in IPS source is $2a$ which presents slight security risk, but as of PHP 5.3.7, documentation states that $2y$ should be used in preference to $2a$. I know that backward compatibility is important (websites below PHP 5.3.7) but I think there should be an option to use different blowfish prefix. I would like to switch to $2y$ prefix because a module I'm using to bridge IPS to server only supports aforementioned prefix.

New Clubs need to be approved manually in my community. However, I as an Administrator am not receiving any bell notifications when a new Club is created and awaiting my approval. I think it'd be sweet if Admins received such notifications! Thank you!

1. Vacation mode... kinda self explanatory... but go on vacation and it lets the sender know that you probably wouldn't respond right away due to being on vacation or any other extended absence. 2. Restrictions,,, for myself and other communities i've talked with they want to restrict the "administrator" or higher ups accounts to only be able to receive messages from staff accounts only, unless they deliberately send a message to a non-staff (for replies)

This seems like something that may exist as a plugin but, If so, I haven't discovered it yet. Simple enough: I'd like to add a news ticker feed to our forum at the top and/or bottom of the page, essentially like a stock ticker. Ideally this ticker would have back end settings for what to track -- in this case, I'd like to track a few specific Twitter accounts and possibly RSS feeds. Each tweet or feed would link to the original source if applicable. Options for the user to collapse or expand the ticker would be ideal. Limit guests to having the ticker display at all times unless they sign up. Possibly other various admin and customization criteria. Does any…

In IPB version 3, the Nexus Client Area had vertical tabs that allowed the user to navigate between the different areas. That was removed in version 4. Now, if you don't have a separate link in the main menu for each individual area, there is no way to access these screens. Can we please bring back the vertical tabs? Similar to the current Account Settings UI? I've had multiple clients request this change, as they don't want 25 links in the main menu for no reason. Thanks.

We could really do with some way to easily stop all emails for a member whose email address has expired or is bouncing messages as spam, or whatever. Currently I can't see anyway to do this beyond finding them in the AdminCP and changing their notifications settings. There used to be a 'delete all subscriptions' option, didn't there? Or am I missing an easy way of doing it? Currently I'm having to click down the whole list of notifications turning emails off. Stripe supports many features that can really boost the sales on a forum. Sadly, IPB is only using the Credit Cards side of Stripe (Even though there are already 3 other Credit Card payment methods). Please allow the use of all Stripe payment methods! Or atleast iDeal and SOFORT banking. Those two are really nice to have if you deal with EU customers! This has been suggested alot of times and not only by me. I hope that an IPB staff will see this someday.

Ok this to me seem odd issue but i am sure might be setting i missing, design a theme in design mode exports fine go to import and select the file and then return back saying "Something went wrong. Check the values provided on the marked tabs and try again." so check see what error is to find my file needs be less then 2MB ! what no message before tell me limit and is there way change the file size limit ?? never had issue upload before beta 8 was fine in beta 7a.

I am really disappointed to learn that there is no integration with clubs to commerce. A subscription to a VIP club seems like a GREAT way to generate some revenue and users who start their own clubs can make money too. What an awesome opportunity this would be and a great traffic driver. Users would push traffic from the internet to their club on my site!! WOW. This was going to be my whole plan from the moment clubs was announced. I guess I just assumed it would be integrated since IPS has been really good about keeping revenue a priority. Money talks! I really like the Clubs feature. I think that this will become more interesting over forums because it's a more personal approach. I do have some questions and suggestions: 1. Moving / or making available content from forums, gallery, files As i already have a type of sorting among the forums based on niche interests / and clubs, this existing content could easily be moved (or made available) to the clubs section. Same applies to members photo galleries or files. This is not yet possible, or i do not see any way to do it. Currently there is no way to automatically join premium paid members to the group, this is not such a problem to manually approve, but one big issue is that premium members who then stop paying are not removed from the group! Please make an improvement so that members who stop their paid membership will automatically be removed from the group!
