So my previous CMS (in Perl from 1998) had a remote upload ability where i would enter a URL and the server fetched the file. With ~1-2mbit upload speeds and HD to 4K Video such a feature is really useful. What do you guys think?

Some users complain that they don't see confirmation dialog when they are clicking forum icon, to mark it as read. Problem is not present for me - I tested on Firefox, Chrome and Opera. Maybe someone observed similar problem and found cause?

On begin I wand sorry for my really bad English First: IPB Q&A to perfect need only post comments like stackoverflow forum. Second: will be nice if we can see native moderators note like this plugin's: I tried make this for own hand, but php and "documentation" is for me bottle neck. This ability will be very useful for OPS team (and for dev's too). I think it is not very hard to develop. We can do this themselves. But our implementation must be supported by us at every IPS update and it will be very painful. What this improvement must do: install app/plugin update app/plugin (just with incoming argv with path to gz / xml file) execute well all inside setup/update parts enable/disable app/plugin or apps module That's it. I think it will be not good only for us. It can open a lot of 3rd_party IPS hosters, which can add personal 'approved' list of apps/plugins, which can their clients install simply. All theme designers (and IPS) should have a function to Import logos into the theme from an existing theme - I don't always have the folder of artwork on the computer when installing a them (may be on the other computer)

We are noticing an issue with time zones on our calendars. As the event coordinator I'm in one and the event occurs in another. On my computer and mobile client it automatically detects the time zone I am in. I select from the time zone drop down the one I want it to be, select the change the time zone button and save the event. Unfortunately it then jumps the time off two hours vs one, and changes the time zone back to the one I am in. The only fix action I have found at this time is to change the time zone on my computer when making events and then the IPS suite considers that the event is in the same time zone.

Seeing as I just acquired a PO Box for my business, I thought I'd check out how it's implemented in the Privacy Policy page. I admit I was a bit surprised to see the Country field completely ignored. Thus, my PP page gives the address LiquidFractal, PO Box 11157, Frankston, Victoria, 3199, which, since I'm based in Australia and not the USA, is potentially misleading to say the least, particularly for those people (and there are many out there) ignorant of the finer points of world geography. I duplicated the skin and started replacing everything I saw FFFFFF with diffrent colors to mess around in the editor I can t seem to find how to change the colors of the Notification icon links #elUserNav > li > a { font-size: 13px; color: #000000; } For example A great way would be to have access to a custom.css that would be loaded last so that you would be able to add quick css Anyway, does anybody know where you can set the links colors in the top bar (create, notification, messages, profile link etc...) only asking because I am going to have a white top background and I can t find how to change those colors. I was just thinking: we already have a function that automatically deactivates Announcements after a certain specified date; it would be good if we could also specify that Announcements be automatically deleted after that date (or kept inactive)? So...something like: "After end date is reached:" followed by options like "Deactivate this announcement" and "Delete this announcement permanently"?

On my forum logging of post changes is switched on, but when you click "See edit history" you can only see it. There is no way to quick restore it. I think, it's easy to implement and would be very useful.

I noticed the clubs tab in the profile is there regardless of if the user is in a club, Why not add a if $member->clubs() statement to the tab and hide it if a user isn't a member of a club, It's pointless being there for other users to click it and find out they ain't joined any

Hello. Could you add group promotion based on user e-mail? For example, if user registered with email in domain "invisionpower.com" (for example "sales@invisionpower.com") or if user changed his e-mail to one in this domain (and confirmed it if necessary), then he will automatically promoted to group "IPS Staff". Also if user in this group changed his e-mail to any not in this domain, his group will be changed to other specified in promotion rule ("User" for example).

Almost every website and social service which has an "image box" feature for displaying big images can preload next images (2-3 or more). Why don't IPS have this feature? It's very annoying when you see one screenshot in the Marketplace, and after you click on the next and see the preload icon: Why not load next image during watching previous one?

Currently we can translate only Field Name and Description for profile fields, but can't translate options which used in radio buttons / select box. For example, there is no possibility to translate values of built in "Gender" field.

In the Download Manager for 3.4.9 the categories showed a list of files that were in sub-categories by most recent added for all sub-categories under your current location which allowed us to use the categories to create a library structure. In 3.4.9 you even had an option to show files in subs or not. In 4.2.4 the categories have been changed and removed all this functionality. It is designed for a more flat structure not a library structure where without the ability to turn the option on to show files in sub-categories really diminishes our library structure we used in 3.4.9. When photos are uploaded to the Gallery, they appear in reverse order. I've reported to Tech Support who state it is irrelevant as they can be sorted by the Album Owner and the Album Browser. However, when using the film strip view it is relevant as it leads to a user experience which is poor. To explain: An album uploaded in default order - On the Gallery page, click the FIRST photo. It appears LAST in the film strip and to view the others you have have to click "BACK". As it's the FIRST photo, it should appear FIRST in the film strip. Even worse if you've changed the sort order. People who sign up with social networks (Facebook, Google, Twitter) are not forced to agree with the Terms of Use/Privacy Policy. After they click on "Sign in with Facebook" ( http://prntscr.com/gs92lk ), for example, the account is created and users are not asked to agree with the Terms of Use/Privacy Policy. I think this should be changed.
