The mayority of my community are merchants, I would like to do club as their stores pages. I think the clubs system already have the structure mode to go to this direction, only need more adapt to purpose. One of the feature need here is the core Store app can add into the clubs, I can imagine that is so cool, because the club can have owner(the merchant boss) , leaders(the manager or other workers), ready to manage their store offerings products or services. Other feature need apply to here is "other members can't see your topic", ready for support service customer to staff. Then as site manager can admin the page that contains all activities of all sto…

The Microsoft Registration Portal is deprecated and functionality will be removed in September. Therefore things have to be done differently through the Azure portal. This just has to be updated to the new standard.

I manually validate users on my forum after they have email validated their account. I also allow "guests" to submit posts and register at the same time, with their posts appearing after they have been validated. It would be very nice if I could actually see their post(s) before I validate them. Would be a good way to weed out potential spammers. When you are validating a user, I can see if they have posts by clicking on the IP address to see the page that shows usage for that IP. However, when I click on the Posts link (if there are any), it just gives me a list of topics they have posted in. If I click on the topic, it opens the topic, but the new (but not yet…

The minimum order amount is a nice feature, however, an option to exclude account credit will be nice and serve as a way to encourage more users to add account credit to avoid the minimum.

This bit of text at the base of the bug tracker has got me interested, especially the bits I've marked in bold: The IPS4 bug tracker is made with our Pages app without any custom modifications. You can do this and a whole lot more very easily using Pages on your own site. So it should be possible to emulate it, right? I'd like to have on my site something like that as a to-do list, since my colleagues and I have meetings four times a year and it's hard to keep track of who's got what task, whether X is being worked on or has been forgotten etc. So, rather than report bugs we'd be creating tasks, indicating the name of the person to whom it's assigned (as was the case of t…

I've mentioned this before, but I'm hoping a future update will include a somewhat cleaner listing for different databases in the default search interface. As it stands right now, if you have several different databases e.g., one for "learning resources," one for "reviews," one for "articles," another for "entries," and if you use any of these nouns over more than one database (e.g. if you have several different DBs with "articles" on something or other), when you browse the Search in menu it can get rather messy. Moreover, for those of us who use DBs more extensively than others, there is no indication which database one is searching in! That is, if you have three…

Hello, Right now when a user follows a forum and asks for a daily or weekly email with all new content from that day/week, the generated email contains the full text of the first new unread message in a forum thread, and an indicator of how many replies have been posted. The one feature my users have been repeatedly requesting since we moved over from Yahoo Groups is email digests with full text of every new message in the followed forum(s), arranged by thread, ideally with a list of topics at the top organized by forum, hot-linked to jump down to the full text of the post in the email. This is how the decades-old Mailman mailing list software works, as wel…

So, I just purchased the blog application for our community, and was rather disappointed by the lack of functionality available. Sure, you can create multiple blogs, but what about adding categories to those blog groups? Category functionality and navigation is huge for blogging products. Is this something we can expect to see in coming updates?

In my case, rarely I touch the POINT Icon to view the topic, (I think regularly the users don't pay attention to the POINT, maybe yes for some experts ips users, but in this case we need design it for the final users) I think the feature of this POINT Icon should be applied directly into the topic title name, if someone need to read back to first post or before that, then use PREVIOUS button, that's not better and it matches our use habits?

Our users have asked about being able to automatically search posts by users in a thread. Basically when you click the post count for a thread, it brings up the # of posts by each user in that thread. They want to be able to click on the # next to each user and it would bring up just those posts. We would like this feature to be added if possible. Thanks.

My new site will require better logging method than just logging to the database. It would be better if IPS implemented "Logging Methods" (with several built-in methods) like the "Storage Methods" currently support built-in and user provided options for files managed by a storage extension. And, I'd like the option to collect more specific activity normally collected by IP in the web server logs that allows me to log all session activity to a "Logging Method". This session activity, like viewing content, or navigating to other pages would have the user ids associated with them in the logs so I can do full security audits from these logs without having to investi…

Would it be possible to keep old versions in case we want to revert, instead of back to stock? Perhaps even the last 10-15 edits to prevent "oops". Seems like an obvious thing to add, hopefully.

Let's say I have 2 forums, one is for affiliate threads and the other is for non-affiliate threads and requires approval for the thread to show. - affiliate forum - non-affiliate forum w/ mod approval of thread. A member stops by and posts a affiliate thread in the non-affiliate forum. If I move the thread from the affiliate forum to the non-affiliate forum and then approve the thread, notices get sent out too all the followers of the affiliate forum (original forum) since that was where the thread was originally posted. The only way for the affiliate thread not to be send to the members following the non-affiliate forum is to hide the thread and then…

Our clubs started to have blogs recently to publish their news. Unfortunately blog and blog entry within club look very messy: Here is the example of blog with double header: one from club and the second from the blog And here is the example of the blog entry: The mobile view is also weird. I think there should be another blog header and blog entry header if shown within club. Sonya

It would be great to have an ability to add language strings to plugins right from developer center, instead of manual editing of /dev/lang.php

I would like to run multiple sites from one backend, be able to mix and match content, and show users to be logged in, once they log in on one of the sites. With mix n match content I mean that I can choose which forums, which gallery categories, which IPC sections or which blog categories I show on which site. This would not only allow me to easily create spin off sites, it would also allow me to keep my sites updated with 1 update. I know that its possible to do a user login integration between with IP.Converge, but that doesn't go far enough.

Hi. If I post a calendar event that has a venue with an address, it generates a map (using Mapbox). The problem is that on the Event Stream view, the map appears and goes way over the frame. Thoughts?

In many scenarios the moderators on a community need to hide a topic (damage control) until posts in the topic has been moderated. After the most recent update, all posts in the topic are colored pink, because they are hidden in the sense that the topic is hidden, but the post itself may not be hidden. This has led to the moderators having a more difficult time to get an overview of which posts are left to review on whether to hide or not. I've told them that when the post is hidden because the topic is hidden, then it will just say "Hidden" on the post header, but when a single post is hidden, then it says "Hidden by ...". I also told them that it doesn'…

Hello, I was wondering, why don't we have the Google One (Google Drive) storage option? The upfile.us website does this with your system, so I believe it's possible. In addition, Google's servers are great for uploading and downloading files independent of your region, with great subscription pricing. (Image price is based on the currency of my country) It has got the guide for developers: https://developers.google.com/drive/ @Lindy @Charles @Matt

Hello, 1) Currently it is Not possible to edit user report messages in the reports: As we can see, there are no buttons for quoting or editing on the user reports. It is OK for no quoting, but how edit those reports at least for administrators? Sometimes users are writing reports with bad, vulgar, dirty and rough (swear) words, and there is no way to edit them, to remove such words from the user report comment 😞 2) When someone reporting something wants to mention a specific person to take care of his report (for example), he does it in a standard way using @ button . example @alexxis But this mentioned person do NOT get any notifications …
