I just installed IPB 4 as an upgrade I uploaded the htaccess file It seemed to work ok and then suddenly the pages started dropping the CSS Its a mess now... http://rimbitforum.com/ Same in the admin section What to do?

Just upgraded to 3.4.8 tonight and there was also an update for Chat included. Currently I have 1.4.0 installed, but it's showing the most current as 1.4.4. If I run the upgrader with Chat selected it fails as soon as I click next. I was able to get the board to install fine by unselecting chat, but now I'm stuck on the upgrade screen every time I want to go to my admin CP. No one uses chat in the community so if I just have to uninstall it to get out of the upgrade loop that's fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey all, I recently converted over my community to IPB and just noticed that the posts are for some reason showing in reverse chronological order now. The newest posts are showing up first and the older posts are further down. On a few threads, they're not even in the correct reverse chronological order. It makes for a very confusing reading experience. I read on here somewhere that this might be due to the the posts being ordered by post ID instead of date after the conversion...and that there was a power setting to switch the order of the posts to chronological order. Could anyone show me where I can find the setting to fix this?

I looked on the documentation and I see CSSes should be loaded automaticly when I'm add them into /myapp/dev/css folder. But it doesn't working. Can't even start the upgrade to 4.0.5.1 from 4.0.4 because I'm getting two instances of this error on the System Check screen. Both are listed under File System Requirements. All other directories are being detected as writable. I've even double checked that all directories relevant to Community Suite are writable on the FTP server. So, I'd like a bit of help fixing this. Though, considering all the posts I've read about 4.0.5.1, I may have dodged a bullet.

Support ticket about this is not going anywhere, so i ask here. Does anyone else has this issue, attached? All files re-uploaded, cache emptyed etc. Strange, seems "September" and whole layout is broken. Months arent even translated yet, so i dont know where they are coming from.

Every now and then the page width is longer than the width of the header. And it causes a scroll bar to appear. Im using the default theme. And unsure what is causing this. Would anyone know? It happens on both fixed and fluid width.

Moving or Copying an Invision Community Suite 3.4.x installation to a new site or new path As I have been moving and copying entire suites to different (test) domains and/or changing set-up paths quite a bit lately, generally for testing new add-ons, and lately while testing upgrades etc. from 3.4.x to 4.0, I thought I’d share the easiest way to move things around, with as little work as possible. I've moved my install from a /dev folder to the root of the site, now CSS and JS don't load because they're still using the old URL. I've updated the config file on the server and any URLs (I could only find one) in the admin panel. Has anyone moved their install of version 4 and know what I'm missing? The same is for the admin too.

Hello, We're having some issues where emoticons are not showing correctly after upgrade across the forum and chatbox, I fixed this on the last upgrade but forgot what I done haha does anyone have any fixes for this. Cache has been cleared etc. Example of the issue on our chatbox, same as in posts on the forum (old emoticon posts work, but new ones dont show)
